hi everyone!

vix - LOL shame man! its too funny what the kids get up too isn't it!!

I've also just moved insurance to MiWay - saving almost R200 a month on my insurance now, which is wonderful. My excess stays the same and its still fully comprehensive car & house insurance. Its ridiculous what companies charge for insurance isn't it!!! I mean my car alone was over R800 a month for goodness sake.

simone - :woohoo: on the weight loss girl! keep it up!

mmmm? what else was there?

oh ja! Christi: its heartbreaking when you leave the babies at a creche or daymother - Bryce has been going for more than a year now and it still breaks my heart when he starts crying in the morning when I have to leave! But when I stop there in the afternoon to pick him up, ag man its too beautiful!! He stands at the window of the class when its about the time for me to pick him up and when he sees my car he absolutely lights up and calls "MAMMA MAMMA" he then goes straight for his backpack in his cubicle (which he insist has to be on his back) and then the teacher holds the bag so he can't run straight for the gate - so when I get to the security gate they release the lock from inside and then I just stand & wait and watch my little angel come barreling out of his class like a bullet from a gun and jumps into my arms!!! He throws his arms around my neck & kisses me, and calmly turns around and says "bye" to the teacher! I LOVE IT

hi ladies

Simone congrats on you weightloss and Ally well done on your blog.

LOL vix I hope that you took a picture

Christi, wow so you will be starting very soon. I really wish you all the best with your new job.

about insurance. It is true that with most insurance companies you have to phone in to reduce you sum insured so that your premiums can be reduced as well.

But like Julz said, watch out for the insurance companies that your premiums are cheaper as usually they have a flat excess for everything for so no matter what you are claiming for your excess is something like R5000 so examples, which means that any damage to your vehicle less than R5000 would be usles claiming for it or even if the damage is R6000 your are liable for the first R5000 and the insurance company will only pay the R1000

usually you more expensive insurance companies will have different excess for different things like a windscreen exess etc which could be a better option when a claim arises.

I worked in the insurance industry for 4yrs and know that you must really read all the FINEPRINT to make sure that you are properly covered.

Julz Keiran also loves closing doors all the time. If we leave a cupboard door open, he goes running to the door shouting and slames it closed...eek.
