So I am happy to report a very good nights sleep Shrey woke up while I was in the shower and waited for me to get out before he fell asleep again. He slept till after 5 so I was super chuffed ... Hoping tonight will be similar ... not sure if the Calpol helped or if was just sheer exhaustion ...

Sorry that Oliver had such a bad experience with the dogs. My mom has 2 small dogs & Shrey is very fond of them - never come in contact with big dogs though.

Mandy how was Cam's night ... hope the cough eases up ... I also use Allergex or Demazin for Shrey at the first sing of runny or stuffy nose in the hope that it won't get worse.

Simone grrrr on not feeling well and shame on Addy's poor leg Hope the meds will be effective. I have noticed anything with cortozone works wonders. K used cortozone cough syryp when he had croup and it worked within 2 days.

Helen shame on Olivers fear of dogs now. K loves looking at his grandparents dog, but wont go anywhere near it, he teases it through the window, lol.

Simone must tell you, we had KFC last night and df had the meal we discussed yesterday. He said it was okay. Was a burger with cheese and pineapple with a medettranion sauce, then with a piece of chicken and mash and gravey.

I slept well depsite horrible headache. I think I have sinusitus as my ears are really sore today.

Helen it's really hard when kids are scared of dogs but it is important that you acknowledge the fear as you have.

A friends kid came round and we have big dogs and she was terrified of our dogs. They have cats. I chose to leave our dogs inside as the mom said while she understands her kids fear and respects it she must learn that she is safe. Eventually I told the kid that I bet my dogs would be really scared of her cat. Wow that changed things. Sometimes you just need to think like a kid. (not hard for me being the Aries that I am).


Dylan's biggest reaction is a fear of a seahorse. The shark was so amazing to him, but dont take him near the seahorse.

Hope you guys are using probiotics. they are really amazing.

Dylan is fine now. Just a viurs and thankfully only probiotics and saline spray. I now adopt the 3 day rule. He still isn't eating properly but that is normal for him.

I have no idea how much Dylan eats at school but he doesn't have a huge apetite. He eats anything but I think he is just too busy to eat. Always looking around to see what he can do next. Even the paed laughed at him.

Guys, it's so hard to keep this weekends events secret, DH won't know until tomorrow night because it's partly his birthday present, I normally share everything with him! Can't wait to see his face tomorrow night when he finds out!

I have decided to buy DH SA history books/dvd's, he hates reading so rather DVD's but since he got with me I have him fascinated in his own history. I'm going to start with the Anglo-Boer war, wow then us Brits were real barbarians, South Africa has so much history and so few people really know about it. I know more than DH and He was born and bred here. So That is what I am on the hunt for today because tomorrow we leave for Naboom, oh and I must get a 2010 birthday mug with DH & C on, it's becoming a yearly ritual.

Helen- shame about Olivers fear of dogs but if that was his first real encounter I can see why, C loves any animal but he has grown up with 2 big dongs and 1 small one. He recently discovered cats at my mum's place and now runs behind every cat he sees shouting 'ow ow ow' in a very high pitch.

Need to get out and buy a coca cola, it seems to really help with the sick feeling but I think it's the bubbles more than anything.

I switched C's milk for water last night, he drank it as fast as milk LOL so I was still getti up all the time.

The weather is pants today!

My son is laying on the floor cuddling our big Lab falling asleep. Kids can be cute hey?
