Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

Hey all

so cam eats better when we eat with him , so now even if i am eating later, I dish up two bowls and I sit him down with me at the dining room table and we eat together.. This is between 17h30 and 18h00. Then we bath him and straight to bed. He is alseep by 18h00 and someimes wakes up once, but for NOW - I mean the last week or so, he sleeps like about 06h30.. so i am concentrating on trying to cook more and do proper meals( I so liked the help of purity) so last night cam helped me cook chicken a la king. i chop the green pepps and mushrooms and he puts them into the pot, then when i put the chicken into the pot i let him stirr.. all the while saying to him, its hot and he replies hot..hhot!

Helen, my mom also came for the birth of cam and i too loved it!! so glad she can come.

Angie lol at DH being on your hit list, DH was on mine after Mother's Day last year, he didn't make an effort at all and I was pretty put out what with it being my first. Hopefully DH will make it up to you next year. And Cole sounds so cute going to daycare, must be so nice to know he's really happy there

Nicole hope the meds help with K's runny nose, shame allergies are so unpleasant

Lisha - Lol at already doing the decorating hehehe, we just can't help ourselves hey. Hope the decision goes in your favour

Vix - eish, I don't know how you survive having to get up that many times at night. I hope you find a solution, you're going to need as much rest as you can get in the next few months

Simone - lol at DH, men are useless when sick and oh so dramatic, lol, hope you all get better quick quick.

That's about as much as I can remember, you guys have been chatting up a storm today

I think it'll be years before we all sit down for a meal together Oliver has his tea around 4.30-4.45ish and is usually in the bath by 5.30pm and in bed just after 6pm. Theo doesn't usually even get home from work until around 6pm so its way too late for Oliver to eat then and he's ready for his dinner at 4.30pm anyway so I wouldn't be able to prolong it til later. Today for example he only had his nap at 12pm and hadn't had lunch, he woke up at 2pm so I gave his lunch and he ate like a champ. I thought damn, he's not going to be hungry at tea-time but lo and behold at 4.30pm he got his table out and sat on his chair to tell me he's ready for his dinner. I think my little man is one of those that needs his routine, he knows it even if his days been a bit messed up.

My mum has already said she's coming out for the birth of this baby and she's hoping to stay for 3 months (possibly even 6!) I'm so happy, we don't have much in the way of family around to help so it'll be so great to have her support. Then I can look forward to having some help with the cooking and washing no doubt it'll be much needed with another little one in the house. She came out when I had Oliver and she was such a life saver for me so I'm glad she's going to be able to come this time as well.

Anyways, I'm off to heat up dinner, enjoy your evening one and all

Nicole- thanks for the tip on the other post, I've been busy all day and only just got onliine. Well it's so flippin slow on my phone it's taken me an hour to catch up on this topic alone.

Internet still a ball of crap. 24meg to down load 20 emails without attachments, just plain text emails some only a few words long. Awful! I told DH he needs to insist on them revoking the contract and we go elsewhere.

C eats with us at 6.30 whilst we all watch 7de laan then bath at 7 and bed hopefully by 8, it has been for a while but now he's waking in the night, when he went to bed at 10pm he would at least sleep through til 6 or 7.

I cook every other night recently. I make enough dinner for 2 nights so I can have 1 night off, feeling a bit too tired by 6 to cook every night. So we have lasagne and salad again tonight! Yummy! In fact I'm going to eat some salad now!

I'm struggling to find time to work lately, C is only taking 1 nap a day and it's hectic when he's awake.

And Lisha, forget to add earlier that I hope that all your plans work out with deciding on buying a new house....We are girls and it's our nature to think ahead of ourselves.

Simone, G is really a GEM, my DH is still right on top of my "HIT LIST"...he is just really pissing me off the last couple of days but I know that having AF means that everyone and everyhing just works on my nerves....besides we are hectically busy at work as well.
