Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

AFM we had an exhausting weekend. Went to my niece's 'debs ball' on Friday night. She was too too adorable in her little white dress. Will post a pic when I get a chance. Shrey loved it cos he knew all the dance moves cos she was practising at home. lol some people were even watching him instead of the Grade R pupils

Saturday night we had a family get-together with my mums family. We only spent a couple hours there and then we had to go to bils brothers birthday dinner. Only got home just before 12 ...

After 2 late nights I realised that my child can just as easily fall asleep without the breast if he is tired ....

Yesterday we had a small breakfast and Mugg & Bean, then had lunch at il's and Nando's at my place with my mum, sisters & their hubby's ...
Shrey refused to go to sleep so we put telly on and we fell asleep. He only managed to sleep at 10 I'm a little bit tired this morning due to very busy weekend ... DH is lucky cos he is home on study leave for the week. He writes last outstanding exam for his BComm on Friday ... really crossing fingers that he gets it this time ....

Oh yes and we gave my mum & mil framed pic of Shrey together with card & cash as mothers day gift ... they loved it ... need to do something personal like that for fil for fathers day...

Helen & Mandy sorry about the car troubles. Helen glad u guys didn't decide to walk out while they were busy with either car. When our car was broken into years ago I was so upset that someone can violate your oersonal space like that...

Vix I didn't have preggy symptoms except for exhaustion in the early stages either, thank your lucky stars and don't worry about it.

Ally glad you had a nice day yesterday, can only imagine how difficult it must be in these days, I was quiet emotional yesterday - must still get used to my dad not being around on these special days ...

Re bottles you guys know my child hates it lol. I still use it for his water or juice etc when we are out & about but with a spout on. He does have some milk during the day but out of glass or plastic tumbler.

Ladies Neil is going through tricky times at work. They are having problems with one of the contractors (IT) and it is worth hundreds of millions as I understand it so he will have to spend time in JHB. Not going to be easy but really important.

This morning i put on my work shoes...so addy comes: mama off! And pulls my sandals off....fetches my slippers and puts that on for me...lol. She looked so chuffed with herself! like obviously i made an error and put the wrong shoes on!

Nelria im glad this time around your babyshower was so great. so glad you got spoilt you derserve it.

K is also getting a better understanding of things. Like on Sat he was eating toast and spat some out onto the floor so i said in a stern voice "keiran pick that toast off the floor and put it in your plate, and he picked the toast up and put it in his plate with such a cute smile on his face.
