I was laughing tonight cause Addy was playing hide and seek with her toes....everytime she pulls the blanket off she goes: I see you toes! I thought it was so adorable to watch. and she is really doing nicely with manners....she kept getting her finger stuck in elasticated pj's sleeve....and she'd ask me to take it out...and she'll say 'thank you' when I've done it without any prompting.

We are watching the hangover now...

Can't believe its work tomorrow....feeling a bit fluish....

we had a good mothers day at a friends house and cam was in a great mood..

Helen I'm so sorry for all the damage and the inconvenience! I also get so furious that you have to 'count yourself lucky'. You're not bloody lucky! They still damaged your car! Grrrr

We had a really lovely day but I was quite emotional most of it. It doesn't help that my period arrived this morning. When my aunt asked what I got for mother's day I said my period and she said GROSS MAN, that's not a gift. So I said, it sure as hell is to me lol. And my babies gave me a VERY good night's rest so I was a happy mommy.

Going to put the babies in bed now only because they slept until 5!! We had a lovely 2 hour nap with them!

Then going to watch a movie and eat some cheesecake!

We had a pretty lousy day. On a plus side Dylan woke at 7 which was nice for mommy but we took my Gran to lunch and she wanted to shop a bit and Neil got into such a lousy mood. I was so not impressed. He apollogised tonight.

Helen I am so glad your car wasn't stolen. I agree with u...i hate the 'u're lucky.....U were only raped and not killed....u're lucky u were robbed and not at home to be killed'...etc! I'm so sorry for the inconvenience now, the money for excess. In this day and age who needs such additional unnecessary expenses!

Had a lovely but busy day.... Gerard made breakfast and lunch. He got me the 2 tops and pants at truworths so wasn't expecting anything, but I got lindt choccies from Addy and gorgeous flowers. Now I've got ferrero roche chocolates and lindt....and a stash of red velvet cupcakes! Not gonna be a good weigh session tomorrow...lol. My mom decided to leave tomorrow so we had a nice family lunch together.

Nelria - glad you had a lovely baby shower, you certainly deserve it after the last one

The baby shower I went to yesterday was nice, wow was the girl spoilt, she got sooooo much stuff! Only downside was some a$$holes tried to steal my car, they gave up with mine but sadly managed to get away with another girls car. All the cars were parked outside the girls house in an upmarket suburb, on a fairly busy T-junction, mine was right under the damn security camera of the bl**dy security company but needless to say the security company saw nothing. A couple had driven past and saw 2 guys standing by my car and thought they looked a bit odd so drove around the block and drove past again by which time the guys were inside my car so they assumed it was their car They destroyed the driver's side lock, put a small dent in the back passenger door, completely trashed the steering coloumn in an attempt to break the steering lock and broke the ignition in half. Had to get a tow truck to come take the car and will now have to wait until Monday to find out how long its all going to take to fix. Its disgusting how organised they were, they were in my car and had taken the fuse out for the alarm before it had even gone off. Then they popped the bonnet, removed the onboard computer and replaced it with a generic one to overide the immobiliser etc, they obviously f#cked up when they tried to break the steering lock so gave up on my car and moved on to someone elses There goes half the money I had saved for tiles for our new house on my insurance excess.

Its so sad because the only way to look at it is to think myself lucky that A. They didn't steal anything else out of the car (Oliver's pram was in the boot and car seat etc etc). B My car although damaged was still there And C. (Probably most important one) I didn't walk out to my car with Oliver whilst they were busy trying to steal it, who knows if they were armed etc etc. Its so sad that you have to think yourself lucky if you've been a victim of crime but have walked away unhurt...
