Ankia I am so sorry about you going through such arguments. Sadly sometimes one needs to say things. Parents always take these things personally, but you are W's parent and you know what is best for him. If that hurts others then so be it. x

Good Morning

Julz - good luck with the op
Simone I hope you feel better soon

I have not read the other post yet, but will do that now
I just want te get something off my chest

So William went to sleepover at my sisters place on Saturday night it went very well and everything and he enjoyed it. But before he went me and my sister had the biggest fight ever. I do not think we will recover from this. I told her what is routins is and when to bath him and everything, she turns around and tells me I must not tell her when to bath him. So I flipped, we screamed and I said that he will not go to her, alot of bad things was said. After a while I calmed down and W calmed down because he was historical that I was upset and everything, so he went and slept over - he will not go there again, if they can not respect my rules, then who knows what is happening.

Second fight with my mom, she is 72 so she is not so active anymore and she can not run after him, and she can not look after him for more than 2 - 3 hours. So last night I said that W is going to sleep over at my SIL place, and we are taking him on thursday. So she said why, so I said what happens when I go in to have my LG, so she said what is wrong with her, so I just said that, W is very busy and she can not do a whole day and night with him, he is a handfull, she she turns around and said that I think they are not good enough, so yes I am in an emotional state and do not know what to do.
My mom can not pick William up, how the hell is she going to bath him and dress him and run after him - she just cant.

So yes I am feeling like sh&t about these 2 incidents, but I have to make the choice to do the best for W, if I do not feel comfortable with it, and I go into labour, I am going to stress more about W than about giving birth, and then it will not go as smooth as I hope it will.

So that is my very selfish post, and I do not know what to do.
My SIL is very good with W, but she lives in Randfontein, so yes it is fine if he go visit over a weekend, but what do I do during the week???

Thanks Simone.

These kids are too funny for words.

I tried to skip a few pages of Dylan's book tonight and he noticed and he moaned.

We had a sitter last night look after Dylan. Had an evening out with friends. The sitter said Dylan was so easy going. She bathed him then they watched a film (no wonder he was easy) then HE said he wanted to go to bed. When he climbed in he told her to read him a story.

Tonigh neil forgot to put socks on him and Dylan reminded him.

I don't think I have to give Neil a list of what to do now. Dylan will most certainly tell him if he forgets something.

Julz good luck with the op! Hope all goes well and its not painful. Keep us posted.

I was supposed to go to water aerobics but got sick before I was going to leave. Addison is trying to mimic me at the white throne saying: shame you sick mummy? U must go to the doctor.

So she was in my way so I gave her a bucket to go on with her show. Boy can she act??? She was copying my sounds and spitting for dear life,. It was hysterical! Then she wanted to throw her pretend puke in the toilet to flush! Lol.

Hi Ladies

I tried posting earlier but no luck.

You have all been busy chatting today. Where to start?

P fairy so good to hear from you. Enjoy your weekend away. I am jealous. I love kimberly.

Vix I know it seems odd regarding the schooling, but the rules are that kids start school the year they turn 7 so we don't really have a say, however you can apply to keep your kid back if the grade R teacher thinks your child would be better off waiting a year. Dylan will be 6 the whole year so I do worry a bit.

Rember in Sa you used to be held back in any standard if you got below certain marks. Alot has changed here.

I also have to enroll Dylan next year as the school I may send him to is not in our area.

Lots to consider.

Helen I was in tears reading about your sil. How amazing and sad all at the same time.

Mandy contrats to your sister and I guess also sad. May her future be filled with peace now.

Angie I am so sorry about the red lady.

Lelani congrats to Chanel on making the Chior. I loved chior.

Ally I am speechless but I understand why you want to do what you want to do. I have read that some people can be so fearful of getting cancer especially if you have the genes so they eliminate the changes as best they can. You have kids to think about . That is the reason why we banked stem cells at Dyaln's birth. Neil's family have lots of cancer history.

Simone good luck. You don't have to disclose your pregnancy yet!

AFM After waiting a few days longer to chat to the doc I called him today. He said I sound terrible so he ordered a CT scan. I don't think he thought there was too much wrong and there isn't really, BUT my sinuses are TOTALLY BLOCKED UP. He was so surprised. I am so scared that I waste doctors time and I imagine that I imagine the pain if that makes sense.

Shame he was really worried and said he would operate tonight but has appointment and was full tomorrow morning for surgery. He then said he would operate on thursday (public holiday) but then said he didn't want me to wait so long so he is operating on me tomorrow evening. Nothing serious just a good rinse out to clear everything and then he is leaving the tubes in for the weekend so that I can directly wash them out and he is leaving a drip in so that I can go in each day to have antibiotics administered. Hopefully I will feel better then.

Helen, I am in tears. I am SOOO glad your SIL Gets to do the things she always wanted to. That's my dad's only regret with my mom, that he could never take her overseas. Her biggest dream was to see Greece and she never could. And it just shows you how karma works. When she needs it the most angels are surrounding her and making her dreams come true.

I was talking to C the other day. I need to go for genetic testing and if I have the cancer gene (which I will because my family is VROT with cancer) I'm going to go for a selective Mastectomy. That means that I won't have breasts for 6 months which for me, who developed breasts at 10 will be terrible but I have no choice. And then I told him that if I get cancer and it's untreatable I want us to go overseas and spend every moment with my family and my kids. I don't want ANY regrets if I should die from Cancer.

Hello ladies

I want to say thank you for the kind and encouraging words about the president. To be honest its not easy and emotionally darining when I think about it but research and interventions introduced give me so much hope.

Helen: Lovely and heart warming outcome about your SIL.

Re: conversation about school I have not even thought about that. My concern for now is sorting out siba and the rest I will deal with it later and im of the view the school will guide me.

And the preggy fairies when are seeing scan pics of the lil ones.

Lelani: congrats about chanel making it to the choir.

Pfairy: hello my my dear its been a while lovely of you to pop in and chat.

Been thinking about other mummies Ara, enigma, zamzie, jess, lwasi hoping all is well with them

AFM: Red robot is in full swing again yay. Im religiously taking my pills and they seem to have settled well in my system.
