Mandy good to hear your scan went well! That is scary to hear, but so great that your gynae is straight up and there to give u good medical advice:-) are u going to post a pic?

I spent R28 less than u today! Lol. Is that gynae and scan cost everytime? And does medical aid not cover it? I'm not sure what gynae charge is but hoping medical aid will cover that.

Yip, well very good scan, baby has a healthy heartbeat and its actually only measuring 7.5 weeks not 8 so ovulated a bit later than i thought! Due date 9 Jan.. AND ONLY ONE! was soooo happy!

Then my gynae warned that with my elevated insulin and glucose levels, that if i skip my meds, I am putting baby at risk and could miscarry , didnt mean to scare me but has to tell me so that i can be sure to take them!! EEEEK!! but still feeling positive! He says til 12 weeks baby needs those meds badly, then after that, baby should be okay ..

Will go back on 27 June - lucky you simone to have more appointments.. and todays cost me R1100~ and your simone?

Well it was great spending R1072 to be told my thyroid is perfect and no need to see him until 1m post birth. I do however need to do bloods every 6 weeks and they'll call me if meds need to be adjusted. Currently on 5mg of thyroid meds per day and with Addy I was on 40mg a day...huge difference!

Got a cold so skipping water aerobics tonight:(
