Hi ladies

Siba is doing so much better. he ate breakfast and lunch yesterday. He could not keep anything down last night we tried everything all he did was drink his milk but managed to sleep through. The meds are working. were keeping him hydrated and he is of school for now.

I called this morning his been playing and no pucking.

Buhle has bit of tight chest and runny nose. Some illiadin should sort the runny nose.

Julz: no meds for the cough wow. what is prospan i should try that out for my princess

Simone I would just keep an eye on her for a little while. Dylan has never been given a cough mixture by any paed or doctor other than prospan so I am reluctant to give him one. Even on Sat, the doc gave him celestamine rather. It isn't ideal to supress a cough as it is the bodies natural method of expelling mucus. What you can give her is ACC200 which is quite effective and safe.

Colds are picked up from viruses so I wouldn't worry about her feet being cold and causing illness, however if she isn't well then she shouldn't be too cold.

I hope your appointment goes well this afternoon. It must be quite stressful for you simone.

Hi ladies

Yoza how scary re: Siba! How is he doing today?? Lol @ having time to check out eye candy though!!!

Angelique so glad that there isnt anything serious wrong with your dad. A simple test and my dad could possibly have been alive today so I like knowing that your dad was thoroughly checked out. He should try and relax and take it easy. How come your parents are in CT by the way? Not sure if I missed it?

Mandy :woohoo: SCAN DAY!!!!! Please update us as soon as you can:-)

Vix where are you off to? Freezing here in PE as well and I have water aerobics tonight *insert crying face*

Julz shame man...hope you recover 100% soon.

Lisha I'm slightly better today...still so so nauseous but not as bad as yesterday where I could keep nothing down. I got home and stayed in bed all day...it was freezing! Warm jerseys?? I have 2 wraps and that is about it...not equipped for winter at all:(

Had to go for blood tests this morning for thyroid...then meeting endocrinologist at 3:30pm.

Ladies advice please. Addison had that coughing last week and I thought it went away, but its back and sounding a bit worse. It doesnt sound sore though, just annoying. She now also has a slightly runny nose since yesterday.

I gave her prospan but to be honest I think the bottle is almost finished! I hadnt noticed until last night! I have demazin for runny nose. Still no sign of illness, fever or anything so G says maybe doc isnt necessary and we should go to pharmacy this afternoon. Any advice on meds? I saw Benylin in a clicks pamphlet...any experience with this? Or should I just rather go to the doctor?

The child REFUSES to wear shoes or socks. She wants to look like a princess everyday and I assure you princesses DONT wear tracksuits, long sleeved tops or tights! They wear sleeveless dresses or ballerina skirts! So its no wonder her nose is now also running:(

Yoza, how is Siba?

Angie, so relieved about your dad! Such things always make me cold to the bone.

It really is freezing here, but I love it.

I met a guy on Sunday at the Land Rover thing who owns a butchery/deli and is doing a re-vamp now. He invited me to go have a look today. Such a stunning place. Nelria, you might like to go have a look, it's in the Gift Acres centre in Lynnwood road. Vars Vleis Deli. The dry wors is some of the best I've ever tasted and cheap too, R130 per kilo! Usually we pay about R180. Lovely meat products and he asked for my advice with regards to other products etc. Such a stunning guy, and his wife is fab too. He gave me huge bag of drywors and biltong to bring home on the house. :D
