Hi Ladies

Vix it is very quite here and maybe we are just becoming such great friends that we don't pop in everyday. Not sure about you but I speak very little with my dearest friend. Maybe once every two weeks. We are such good friends we just know we are there for each other but life is so hectic we don't expect contact.

Simone wierd test. A dud for sure if no test line came up and one shouldn't check the test after the recommended time frame, but it does sound interesting.

Mandy fx for you too.

Nelria so good to hear from you. Your move sounds hectic and I am so sorry the kids are sick again. Shame man!!

lisha I also went to Ackermans and there was almost nothing on sale, but I got some more clothes which he needed really badly.

I am so tired. Dylan has been home for 6 days and now he is running a fever again and all snotty so fx that he is feeling better tomorrow. I need a break although he has been quite good.

Nelria so great to hear from u! Sorry to hear the kids were sick again:-( can't u hire somebody for a day or so to help u sort house out? Or drop kids off at parents?

I do think 'venue' meets would be a bit more impersonal than home meets. Miss k and I used to meet at each other's place which was great. Guys watching sports, chatting, us chatting, eating..,no looking for kids. Okay so we are only 2 ladies which makes it easier. But with mandy and I, our last meet...its Cam wanting to go for a walk, addy wanting to go that way (we've met outdoors) so not that relaxing and sitting back. Its a different dynamic.

Ct meet at lelani's house again, that nice homely feel...so I vote for home meets JHB ladies:-) and Mandy next time I'm baking and u're coming over here! Lol. (Not your next visit though as I know its time with your sister:-) )

That aside though, I also felt the thread is/was dying out (thanks for the effort Mandy!) And also wondered if we were just outgrowing each other. So reassuring to read how u all feel.

Hopefully testing tomorrow. Will keep u all posted. Not feeling too positive though...maybe I'm just saying that so I don't get my hopes up. This will be my freakin 15th HPT I'm sure in these 8 plus months!!

i am still alive but barely shit man moving sucks ass!!!!!!!!!!!

The house was used as comune for awhile so the place is DIRTY!!!!!!! and its facebrick walls on the inside so dirt and dust in the grooves

tiles and grout appaling (put toilet duck seem to work thanks vix)

but hey staying for free so no complaints

had kids home now for 6 days WOW!!!!!!!!!! it sucks in the grime and unpacking its going crazy

xens face looks like a train went over him from bumps and bruises keep head butting rough walls etc

lea is SUPER clingy can tmove without her so carting both up and down stairs all day as she wont stay alone and cant keep im alone due to different levels everywhere and he is super fast so if i need to pee, fetch dummy, change nappy anything out of livingroom they both come and want to be carried or i have to carry all the stuff lea carts along and hold hand while carrying xen WOW

so took both to emergencies monday my kids live to get sick when dr's are off so tonsilitis (lea)again and bad flu (xen) lea back on antibiotics xen on nubiliser - so extra DEMANDING - lea puked sunday night so ended up in bed with us and xen couldnt breath through snot so i ended up on matrass on floor with him grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

ok so no catching up as i am simply taking breather too much to do

but saw wierd tests?? simone maybe prego?

vix - no not drifting just life as mandy says I for one love to come on here everyday and get my fix and share my life with all of u maybe because of your kitchen time off u lost contact? like me now feel guilty for not knowing all of your stuff but doesnt mean u are not all in my thoughts

and i agree meets for now should be strictly at homes as restaurants u only get to talk to whoever is sitting next to u, kids misbehave, its expensive and overated for big groups - so next meet MY PLACE whoooooooop whooooooooooop

Zee aw cute re: Nemo. Luckily Addison isn't scared of anything in that movie. Ackermans here also had nothing on sale:-( a few items but really one mixed odds and sods rail. Bought a princess jacket that wasn't on sale...that girl from princess and the frog, but arms are way too short so need to take it back.

I probably put on 7kgs the last 2 days! Literally been eating half a big pkt of cheese and onion chips and sour cream dip!!!!!!! Good luck to me getting back on track!

Vix - nah, im not feeling like we are drifting, i think our meets are always more personal when at someones home and yours was so warm that perhaps thats why our last meet felt more distant for you. You actually havent got a hope in hell to loose us! We have come too far for too long now! its a tight bunch. for a change there wasnt an actual baby shower at the last meet or a new preggie mom to celebrate with, so it was one of our calmer meets!

ooiiii simone, im a little excited for you, i mean what are the chances that we have 2 dud pregnancy tests in two weeks, yours is very hopeful.. we are waiting here quietly for you

I have just done 2 loads of baking, banana bread and 12 banana muffins due to soggy bananas... they are smelling goooood in the oven.

ive made a new friend of one of my neighbours and she bought some devine caramel vodka, so every evening I pop over for a sundowner... hmmmm cannnoooottt wait! gotta get me some of that stuff for these cold winter nights

Had a peaceful day, Z played with her niece at my MIL's and then I went to fetch her. We went to our Ackermans but our pathetic branch had zilch on sale.

I'm taking Z to the zoo tomorrow, I'm taking a friend with who doesn't want children so I'm afraid the trip will probably not help with all the screaming children and all

Shame, Ziani is watching Finding Nemo (again) and wants me to "pause" whenever something scares her.

Vix, I honestly cannot remember when you introduce what, I remember I made combo's though, the potato with butternut, when can they eat green veggies again? The Annabel Karmel site was very helpful those days.

About growing apart, I think its normal to feel a bit akward in the beginning when we see each other every few months or so but it still felt like old friends to me I know the thread is very quiet these days and I'm not helping, popping in every thrid day or so when I'm at work. But I don't pop in less because I don't love the thread or love to chat with you guys, it's just life! Work is hectic, at home there's too much stuff to do, etc. Seriously hope the thread won't die a natural death because honestly – who is going to listen to my diatribes once the new baby's is here!?

Simone- I say that was def a dud test and you should go try another one today. Sometimes +'s don"t come up within the 5 min but the control line should be there instantly. My first BFP with the twins on 17DPO the test line didn't appear in the first few mins so I left it went and made a cuppa and went back and there was a 'soft' line. Evaporation lines I tend to think only really come up after an hour or so. Go test again pleeeeeeeease!

Mandy- no issues with moomie my side. C did really enjoy the Zoo, we went with SIL and her 3 so we had 3 adults 2 teens and 4 kids 3 and under, it was CRAZY rtrying to keep tabs on them all but they had fun so worth it. Gets expensive for large families to take those trips though, we're gonna pay through our backside when the twins are over 2.

Desperately trying to find a day of good weather to have our photoshoot, I can't wait to get some nice pics of the family done.

Julz- I hope you managed to get some work done in your mad house yesterday

Zee- how can you say your bump looks huge? It's so cute and teeny tiny, you carry pregnancy well! Hope you guys don't struggle too hard finding a name.

PFairy- it was lovely to meet you but I wish I had just plonked my bum down next to you because I had so much I wanted to chat to you about but I was all the way down the other end of the table

Do you guys think that maybe with time we've grown close and now we're starting to grow apart? Not quite sure what I'm basing these feelings on but I just feel a little like strangers when we meet now? And the thread is slowing down a bit too, I know people are busy but I for one don't always come and chat about everything like I used to, I only seem to bring up subjects that have been bugging me for a while like Jono's bum, only really discussed it after a couple of weeks.

Gals, what other veggies can I put the boys on? They love butternut, sweet potato but they hated the pumpkin, I tried for a week and they hated the stuff. I don't want to introduce fruits just yet, want to get all the veggies tried first buit now my memory fails me and I am lost. It's amazing how much you forget in 2 years.
