Vix so nice to hear from you again, sorry to hear C was so sick, glad he is better now. I also give K Betanoid for when he has croup etc, but man it makes him hyper, even his teacher can pick it up right away when he is on it lol.

Lisha sounds like you had a nice weekend.

Julz glad you were able to get the situation sorted, sounded really stressful, i had one of those "i feel so stressed i feel like i wanna puke" moments last week and man so not nice.

2KD - its always nice and refreashing to have a change of look. Hope Reece gets better asap.

Simone i was thinking of you yesterday!! I can imagine how happy you must be. xx

afu, had a ok weekend, friday night, K grabbed his right ear three times saying it was eina, but not crying and then he would go and play like nothing was wrong, he slept fine that night and then saturday morning he was fine, didnt complain, but when he woke up from his nap he said the same ear was sore again so took him to the doc and yip he had an ear infection he the same ear he was moaning about, but i swear if he didnt tell what was wrong, i would have never guessed that he was sick as he hasnt cried, no temp and his normal self? Saturday night dh and I had a braai together and then yesterday we went easter egg shopping for K and looked around for some more winter things, but there was nothing great so will go again in 2 weeks time, THEN K fall asleep in the car on the way home and when we got home and tried to open the electical gate - it wouldnt open, we didnt have electricity (typical municipality switch of electricity on a sunday) eventually after about 30min Dh realised he could pull the gate of the railings so we finally got in - not fun.

Hectic week ahead - deadlines in need to achieve.

Hope you are all well. Sorry I couldn't make it Lelani, I would have loved a little kuier with you and Julz. To Vix and the other who's kiddies are sick. I feel your pain, Reece has been sick for 3 weeks almost now. took him back to Doc on Friday, got more antibiotic and Cortisone and Antihistamine and Asthma meds now. So he's being treated for RSV with a secondary infection in the ear. The Singulair she is giving to keep his chest open because we have a history of Alergies and Asthma in the family and she is quite concerned about this. I am also on pretty much the same strategy of meds at the moment. This is our second round of antibiotics and cortisone in a month. I'm very tired of this whole business of being sick. I have to take him back to the Dr for review again on Thursday.

AFM: Had a hectic weekend but feel a bit like a new woman because I had some what of an "extreme hair makeover" on Saturday. Had my hair cut in a completely different style and made it somewhat darker, a deep chocolate brown. So I look quite a lot different from my profile pic. My daughter asked me to go back to the hairdresser and get my other hair back becasue I don't look like her mommy anymore and My husband I can see is also unsure of this new look but I am loving it, it makes me feel loads younger and I am getting tons of compliments so I know it does look good. I had one of those very blunt full fringes cut and my hair is blowdried straight to on my shoulders now. Just love it!!!

Hectic week ahead, with DH off to JHB, a training course and work and a conference coming up.

lelani: so sorry doll for cancelling last minute. I thought I would come through but I had such a bad night with buhle and siba coughing up a storm and high tem again with the lil madamneedless to say i was feeling like crap. Lack of sleep and crancky kids would be bad company.

They are doing much better today.

I am so making it up. I plan on coming and visiting you. I so want to see your house. Just after easter we should set a date will chat my darling.

Vix: I know my nanny always complains when siba is at home. she says he is a handfull. its always no siba, ill smack if you do that, stop pushing buhle and they still have to play.


Oh the spar race was great finished it in an hours time. but my body is so swore looking forward to more 10km races it the only way i ever lost the weight and kept it of i love jogging. need to get my fitness on track

Mandy...ouch on the thrush! Hope it wasnt too sore... I remember trying the deed with thrush once and man it was painful so not again for me. I hope for your hard work and dedication to the cause....that sperm meets and egg:-)

I'm sure your sister cant wait to have you hear. I am so worried about those kids:-( I'm praying this side the transistion is as easy as possible for them...I feel like crying actually for them:-( How horrible when you're a kid and you just dont understand:-(

These kids have FANTASTIC MEMORIES! We cannot say ANYTHING to Addison anymore. Told u guys I promised movies at 10am one day...got home at 5pm and got asked: WHY WE HOME?? WHEN MOVIE TIME? So had to go to cinema and buy her popcorn and hoped she didnt ask for the actual movie. Yesterday we were going to Cattle Baron and decided to just get pizza. Addison wasnt impressed when we got home cause she was told she'd be playing at Cattle Baron....'When we play with other baba's in play room????'. Eish! So I am careful not to make promises anymore just to get her quiet that I cant or dont intend to keep.

AFU...G got earlier flight to Pe...so was over the moon. In excitement...when we got to airport Addison asked for toilet...and I take her..and realise NO PANTY! She took it off and I asked her to get another one, but she didnt and I forgot! Then she wanted to sit open legs on table, jump up and down, lift dress...my word! And there are no shops at our airport to buy panties...EISH!

Assison got annoyed when we kept telling her the next plane was her dad and then the next (there was 20min delay) she started shouting: I WANT MY DADDY NOW! When she saw him it was so sweet...she just put her head on his shoulder and stayed like that...smiling.

Its sooo flippin good having him back! Feels like we're newlyweds...we just really missed each other. I'm hoping I'll stick to treating him better as I planned to...as I realised that I do really take him for granted. So absence definately makes the heart grow fonder.

Was CD14 yesterday....no idea if I missed ovulation...we definately did our part last night..poor hubby jetlagged and all So will try and BD everynight this week (according to G its our sex month since we missed each other so much, BD every day....um okay we'll see about that!) .

Mandy glad you enjoyed date night and pleased you got some ttc in there too. You are brave with thrush and all. Remember to treat hubby with the cream too though as you can pass it on and then it will be back and forth! I struggle alot with Thrush.

Ally you are so busy and it sounds as if you are doing so very well for yourself.

Funny about babies being easier. Yes the sleep deprivation was really rediculous but I feel more tired now. Having a toddler is exhausting. I have so many friends with babies under 1 and they are so proud of their kids. Remember how proud we used to be (some of you may still be) and then they grew up.

We had a nice weekend. Actually relaxed quite a bit or at least I tried to. My work drama was better that we first expected and my client is on her way to Delhi. FX ladies that this is successful..

I worked on it the whole weekend really. Shame felt bad as I couldn't give my full attention to Lelani on Sat. So much on my mind and so little sleep the previous night what will calling labs at 1 in the morning.

lol @ you referring to Cam & his buddy as gangsters ... boys will be boys and I totally get that it was a relief that both got hurt so not weird at all.

Welcome back to Moomie land Vix ... we've definitely been missing you. Saw on fb that C is back to school so hope you catch up with all your stuff & that you get some much needed R&R this week.

Simone how is Addy after G's return? Sure you're feeling loads better?

Helen how are the kids? And you getting used to being back at work now?

AFM had a nice day out on Saturday. Took Shrey to his cousins 4th birthday. He loved being with the kids & most of all the train ride. Kept saying that he went on Chugginton. Thereafter we went to my cousins place and he refused for us to leave around 5pm because he wasn't done playing so we stayed for another 3 hours and he was so exhausted so fell asleep in the car.
Yesterday Shrey & I spent alone because my mum was at her sisters place and dh played golf. We had a nice day just playing with his cars or watching tv. He is suddenly back into his Lightening McQueen phase and loving all his cars. Each car belongs to a different member of the family but only my family not the in laws lol.

Anyway busy week ahead, need to get some taxes submitted
