Vix, so sorry that you struggled with C last week. I can only imagine how chaotic it must be and I completely believe you that C is more work than the twins. C and I often say we can't believe we complained the first 6 months were hard when in fact we basically just fed them and slept!

I'm also amazed at the twins memories. When we come back home from being out they say HOME..YAY when we're a street away because there's a big green electricity box on the corner and they have obviously identified that as being close to home. And Abi is such a little madam now, she comes with me when I go shopping every now and then (today is Aidan's turn though) and she wants EVERYTHING but she is so good when I tell her no. She saw those Lindt Easter bunnies last week and kept saying "Ag loooook mamma, look at the bunnies...soooo cute! agggg looooook!" The people in Spar were all laughing at her. What's not so cute is how Aidan and her fight some days. Good grief C and I sometimes can't handle it. They pull hair, push, shove, stand on each other's heads! It's ridiculous!

Zee, Pasella is on Wednesday at 19h30 on SABC2...So excited to see it! Just hope I don't look like sh!t!

Anyhoo, let me be off. Need to finalise my shopping list and then get Aidan ready. Not such a hectic day today, just a telephone interview for an IT website this afternoon and then some more planning for this charity event. Things are going slow in that dept because the other blogger is SO busy he hardly has time to reply to my e-mails. He is doing a book and he works for TASTE so he is snowed under. Hope he gets back to me soon though.

hellloo Vix good to get a catch up and helllo from you! Yes that preflam is the absolute worst! SURELY they can disguise the taste a little more as most moms I know cant get it down! and cameron also puked it up so much we stopped about a year ago.. We also use betanoid last month he was on 15 mls a day for 3 days then 7.5 for 3 days plus the ventolin pump.. but he wont take the pump so thats when we changed to the venteze syryp during day and the pump at night during his sleep! it was the venteze syrup coupled with the betanoid that made him so super hyperactive and a non sleeper!!! so if you do find his sleep gets worse or hes even more hyperactive, you now know what is causing it!!! My paed says some kids are just more affected than others with this!! and the more hyperactive he was the more his chest couldnt get better!

Zee nice to hear from you too, ZIani is so clever remembering october! Im amazed about their memories, like when i pulled into the petrol station the other day and he asked, Petrol mommy??

Simone thinking of you hon.. Im sure you and G will enjoy your TTC month this month, hers holding thumbs that you manage to catch the ovulation in time.. but having said that you will like to have an early january baby!! so whatever is meant to be will be.. enjoy the practising non the less and having your man home and addy back to normal!

Noticing how Addy changed temporarily coz dad wasnt there, it makes me worry about my sisters kids with her pending divorce.. her hubby plans on moving out in the next two weeks on a week end and the mediator told them to just tell the kids that dad is going to move to his own house and is still their daddy.. and to do it in the morning and spend the whole day together in the privacy of their own home with just the four of them so that if the children want to ask questions or come back to them or cry of be sad they can just be with them.. shame hey!! I wish i could help, but its all up to the parents! Luckily my sister has 4 grandparents and one family of aunt, uncle and cousins who all offer their support around them!

I will be going to PE for 3 nights in the first week of may to see how they are all coping sorry if i have said part of this before, I cant remember! I cannot wait just to BE with my sister!

anyhoo Date night was great, and we managed to do the deed regardless of the thrush since i was "up to it" last night! so heres to a good month of TTC! Then DH let me sleep in the morning til 08h30 really really lovely!

Hope you are enjoying the weekend. We went to a nice restaurant this morning, Trés Jolie where there are animals and pony rides, etc. Z loved it.

She is now watching Little red riding hood and commenting loudly on each and every scene. I can definitely not take her to the cinema!

Vix, sounds hectic over there! Hope C can shake the infection off quickly, I have to say I'm afraid of that once Z goes in May. I would've loved sending her in summer but I cannot postpone it any longer. Can't even giver her Creche guard or something because that will just make the constipation worse. She's still on Lacson as well.

Mandy, hope you enjoyed the date night. Shame, poor Cam but at least he's not letting anyone walk over him

Christi, good luck with the MS, jeez, the first months are not easy, I still have the bad taste in the mouth and according to a doctor I chatted with, its due to the progesterone and can last up to the birth. Oh the joys.

I'm Vix mother to 3 sons, complete crazy Brit and these days total stranger to all my very special Moomie friends, it has been far too long since my last post and I fear many of you will have forgotten I ever existed LOL

Sorry for abandoning you my friends! Things are just meag hectic this side, I STILL haven't finished cleaning and re packing the kitchen or any of my house for that matter, C was off school last week sick and my life just stood still, sh1t 3 kids under 3 is hectic!!!!!!! Ironically C @ 2.5 years old is more work than the tweenies put together!!

Mmmmm where does one begin??????? I'll start with me then reply it's easier.......

C has a ear, throat and chest infection (yay for sending him to creche this year, I knew I should've bought shares in my Paed's business before hand!) So he's on antibiotics AGAIN. He's also got a Venteeze pump and a steroid for 3 days but I had to stop the steroid (preflam) because it ewas soooooo disgusting he would puke everytime so none was staying and infact it just made him feel worse. I decided to just give him Betanoid instead, it's a 3rd of the strength but he'll at least drink it. So I've been cleaning up a fair amount of puke the past few days and Alex decided to join in last night a projectile vomit his bedtime feed grrrr he's nnot sick, I think he drank on top of a wind (it's amazing how these things scare the cr@p out of you with your 1st child but the second time around it's as if it's nothing)

I am desperately trying to keep C as distanced from the tweenies as possible so they don't get sick but he just loves them so much he wants to kiss them all the time, how can you explain to him no?

The boys had their 14w vacinations only at 18w because I didn't want to take them while they were having all those mini fevers.

Alex is now grabbing toys on the playgym and having a ball with it, Jono is still a little slow in that dept but he enjoys watching his brother move the toys. C also likes to climb in and play on it so you can imagine how cramped it is on the tiny little playgym. C has also decided that the baby bath is his bath so now he sits in this tiny bath with ALL the toys and the tweenies are back to using the basin (which I must say they don't really fit into anymore) Got a pick, will upload when I get on the PC (haven't touched the PC for about 4w)

Mandy- I hope your date night was good, sorry to hear about the thrush

Nelria- wooo hooo for moving soon and yay on not having to pay rent, extra bucks for painting! Can't wait to come for a Braai by you!

Helen- I'm so pleased there is nothing wrong with Nina's hip! I hope your babes are feeling a bit better this weekend and you can have a break from making Dr's appointments!

Zee- Yes C is still on the Lacson, I am really struggling to wean him off but I spoke to the paed again the other day and he said I must just drop 1ml at a time once a day then twice a day then the full day then the next day I can drop another ml for once a day then twice and so on, mmmmm that sounds confusing even to me.... So here's what I'm doing 10ml 10ml 9ml, 10ml 9ml 9ml, 9ml 9ml 9ml, 9ml, 9ml, 8ml and so on as each day progresses he's getting 1ml less unless I see his poo goes hard/dry again and then I'm back to upping by 1ml at a time again. I understand the point in getting the mind to get over the fear but whenever I drop the lacson too low his poop becomes so dry and this child drinks like a fish and water at that he refuses juice. I don't know, we'll get there in the end I'm sure.

2km- thanks for your advice on the lacson but I already have C on it for months now, I am working on a constipation plan from the Paed. There isn't much you can tell me about constipation that I don't already know we struggled for 2 years and after seeing 3 Paeds and 2 GP's we finally found a plan that works. You may just be the expert in washing poop but I am the expert in non moving bowels by now.

Ironically the laxette is exactly the same composition as the lacson but it seems to be working better, just coincidental timing I suppose.

Christi- well if you don't mind us bombarding you so soon after your class finishes (probably just before 12) then we'll definately pop in for a coffee by you!

I'm so excited for the photo shoot and we keep putting it off and off. Will be nice to have family pics of all 5 of us, I think the only one with us all was as we left NICU! Crazy isn't it?

Geez one of our quietest week ends yet!

so Typically its day 10 of my cycle and I planned to start "trying" and ive had thrush or something the last 3 days .. just trying to medicate as fast as i can but rather annoying!

This morning we started off with swimming which was great and then went to meet some friends for breakfast with cam. its the first time he has latched onto one person and ran around for an hour in the playground with the same person! ( one of my friends kids ) and suddenly we hear them both screaming and we see them hurting each other.. they BOTH had blood on their faces!! Jordon had blood dripping down his chin from his mouth and cameron had two blood scratches on his nose!!! WHAT GANGSTERS!! both in tears and after cuddling with their moms for 5 minutes, they take hands and run back into the play area!! a bit harsh, but i was actually releved they both got hurt equally as both moms were a bit shocked but trying to not take it too seriously!! BOYS WILL BE BOYS!

Lelani nice that Julz and you landed up having time to talk, Ims sure it worked out the way it was meant to be

Julz are you okay after yourr hectic week? wish you could tell us more stories about your work, I bet its facinating, trying and very rewarding!
