lol ladies I am glad I brought that colours topic up. We've obviously not been doing it the 'clever' way We go 'that car is blue' and 'that truck is white' etc so obviously that's changing with every passing vehicle so confusing my poor kid. Will definitely try the sky, grass, hair etc thing and let's see if that makes a difference.

2km I think all the ladies with girls are going to be very afraid now if they get so picky With boys I think we could get away with any car or dinosaur or plane but still the odd day only Woody & Buzz or Spiderman will do!

2km don't make me scared! My child already says which porridge she wants! (Again by colour of box and she won't eat anything if she wants oats/oatees or nutrific). Her clothes she chooses...shoes, skirts..2ven her pj's!!!!!!!! Her princess satin barbie one being nightie of choice. Heaven help us when its in the wash...eish! Girls only??

You Girls are making me laugh at the whole Colours issue. Simone, if Addy is already being so specific, wait until she is 5!!! Zoe my eldest has a very specific idea on what she wants, she gives me absolute hell when I buy things for her like Clothes or Shoes. There is not only 1 kind of pink you know???

Julz its better them not knowing colours! This morning Addy saw pink zoo biscuit so wanted pink one. Spotted blue behind it so wanted blue on too. She only eats purple ice cream!so we have to hunt! Purple top only goes with purple skirt (I tried to pair with jeans this morning and she refused)...when she wants green cooldrink/milkshake it must be green...*sigh* so ya! My brother even said: we were better off when she didn't know colours! Lol

@ Julz, yes it does start getting a bit cold for swimming from now on even if the pools are heated. You will have to let me know for next season if you need more swimming pants. Stegi closed so we can't get those any more but there are other kinds too.

Lisha according to the milestones chart they might know one colour by now but it's not set in stone.

Dylan guesses but I find now that if I use association then he gets the colour.

he knows the sky is blue and grass is green so if I say what colour is this and then I say it is like grass then he knows it is green. There are colours that he knows like orange, pink and blue. Red he struggles with the most.

2km glad the orders are going so well.

Dylan is taking a break from swimming from now till next summer. The teacher feels it is getting too cool and he is quite skinny so she is worried about him getting too cold even though the pool is heated. The last lesson he was shivering.


Missed my docs call for the results but he will call back when he is finished with a patient which takes an hour. Flip he charged R900.00 for the consult!!! Then another 1300 for blood tests so fx all is perfect as he tested for a couple of scary things.

ya Simone, it is long and at this stage I am kinda in limbo about it. We will see what happens. I hope you guys get your 2nd one really really soon!
