Ya julz R8800 each...hoping I heard wrong from medical aid that I only have R10500...lol. But these people are great to let me leave there with stuff I haven't paid for! So I think payment plan for balance, but will find out next week.

Julz it'll drive u insane to hear everything so clear!lol. I'm in awe of all the sounds. I thought he was moving a drawer full of chopsticks to demonstrate sounds to me then saw it was a plastic packet!

Hope u get money for it...how come no benefit on medical aid?

simone I am in the same boat. Lost high frequency sounds so I can't understand speech when there are too many people in a room or if there is background noise.

I will also have to get one for each ear and sorry to have to tell you but they said we are looking in the region of 13000 each so 8800 is for one. I have no money available for hearing aids at all so not sure when we will be able to afford them.

Awesome that you can now hear so well!!! Do you have tinnitus? if so is it less now with the hearing aids?

Lisha we'd be very clear in saying: there's a blue car, oh there's a white car. Cars are actually a good one to show them u don't just get a blue car...if that makes sense?

Julz...glory so expensive! I got TWO!!!!! I wear til next Thursday then go back to let them know how it goes...then we talk pricing!! Apparently R8800 each and I think I only have R10500 available for hearing aids, but hoping I heard wrong. Was so weird driving home...I hear freakin pills shaking in my bag! The toilet???? Who knew it was so loud!

But man...2 hearing aids:-( its not my hearing so much as I don't hear treble and consonants (soft sounds). I hear bass very loud. It baffled me how I can hear the bass of a party down the road but not speech in a meeting for example. Said I've been starved of those sounds for so long...so it just got worse (I used to wear hearing aid as a child).

ladies, those that are potty training. One of my Suppliers Earthbabies has the most fabulous product or Box of Potty training goodies. It's called a Potty Training gift box and it's 5 Fleece potty traiing pants and then lovely Fridge Magnets all together in a really cute gift box. Julz lets not get to sweets. Shrey has a bite of a chocolate and that's enough for him (unless it's a chomp then he gobbles it up). Otherwise he nags us for sweets and lollipop's.

@ Simone :ROTFL I am hoping Boys are easier. Luckily have not had this issue with my son as yet. He only knows what the "Grey remote" is.

Yay all tests are clear. So it seems it is just my stomach causing issues as always and then the other chronic causes and then my inner ear problem. My audiologist wants to run balance tests to check the inner ear etc so waiting to hear form the ent still. He says it has been a tough 4 years of illness so this would explain being so tired.

As for boys well Dylan knows exactly what he wants and demands it!!! Okay a sweet is a sweet but the other day he asked for the pink one. grrrr. This only annoys me because I was hoping he would eat the gross orange and green sweets but he wants the red and blue ones which is what mom eats.

No seriously Dylan is really adamant and he does have his preferences.
