Angelique so glad that Cole is eating better...really hope he'll put on some more weight so mommy can relax and not worry about the weight thing!

Nicole sounds like all the preps are taken care of and well dont to K on losing the dummy:)

Yes my c-section date is the 20th of December at 7:15am.

G wants me to actually try and go later as it seems baby wont be as big as we anticipated...so he feels 38.5w not long enough....so at this point perhaps my date is not set in stone...he says baby's health comes before my want to spend more time with him.lol. Will see what next scan shows with placenta and that will determine what we decide.

Pfairy....your house is really stunning!! Are the houses cheaper in Oz than SA? I know you said the cars are.

Helen sounds like you had a hectic time with the 2 after the shower

Hello :)

Christi thanks for making the effort on Saturday, it was great to see you and the family and congratulations on Kota :) I forget how small newborns are lol.

Mandy glad you had a nice day, you are looking lovely.

Everyone else thanks for making the effort it was great to see you all again :)

We had a bit of a crazy day after you all left, my two were exhausted but we'd missed the window for getting Oliver to sleep and he just wouldn't settle, Nina slept for about an hour and then woke up screaming. we kept them busy the rest of the afternoon and I thought great I'll get them into bed nice and early but it just wasn't meant to be, Oliver fussed, was overtired and took a long time to settle. Nina was very unhappy and screamed and screamed and would only sleep when she was being held upright so we figured it must be her ears (she'd been sleeping badly for the few days before but I hadn't thought too much of it) but she eventually settled her but it took a looooong time. When we woke up on Sunday it was all explained, her one ear was oozing with puss poor little mite. She's not supposed to feel pain when the ears ooze with the grommets so I knew either the grommet was blocked or had fallen out. Took her back to the ENT yesterday and thankfully the grommest are still in place and are clear now but the one had obviously been blocked and the force of the infection forced it clear so the screaming was the pressure build up poor thing :( Now we have nose drops, ear drops and antibiotics to clear the infection so hopefully she'll be back to normal soon.

Otherwise all is well, Nina is standing up now and starting to scoot around the furniture so I don't think it'll be too long before she's walking, I really hope she's walking by Christmas although I know I shouldn't rush it lol ;)

Nicole - Congrats on getting K off the dummy :) These things are never as hard as we think they are going to be hehehe. The kiddies are really growing up now!

Nelria - Also congrats to you on getting Lea into her fairy outfit and off the dummies etc :)

Vix - Hi! I'm also with you on the pooping story, Oliver WILL not poo in the toilet and saves it all for his night time nappy, if I don't put a nappy on he doesn't poo, if he's really tired and passes out as soon as he gets into bed he doesn't poo. If I make him sit on the toilet before bedtime to try and poo he won't then poo in his nappy after (i think he's scared I'm going to freak) so sometimes we go for days without a poo (the record so far is 4 days!!!!!!) and then I start stressing, his palour literally starts turning grey and he gets all lethargic. Its a nightmare but I have tried everything to encourage him to go but nothing seems to work. he's been potty trained for a year now but he just will not poop anywhere but his nappy...

Simone - Addy sounds like such a little character :) And she is going to love being a big sister!!

Angelique - I'm so glad Cole is picking up weight, he looked so adorable in his outfit :)

To all those having parties and birthdays this weekend hope it all goes well!

Cheers for now, must get back to work!

Hi ladies

Just wanted to do a quick post while i had a gap!

Mandy im glad you had a lovely time at your shower :)

In just a few weeks both Simone and Mandy will have your babies in your arms - so exciting!!!!

Christi thanks for sharing your birth story! Amazing really! And Kota is just to adorable :)

Vix i am sorry you are still struggling with C and getting him to poop, shame man poor boy!

Nelria sounds like Lea's week of fun was great!!! Well Done on getting her to drop the dummy and bottle :)

Simone sounds like you were busy over the weekend with the spring cleaning, hope you got some rest in to! So do you know your final date for the C-sec? Im sure Addy is going to be over the moon when her "blover" arrives!!!

Lisha im sure you will start getting interest in the house soon, fx for you!

Yoza i hope you and your family are doing well!! xxx

Julz are how you doing? I loved the photo on the other topic of Dylan, such a cutie pie!

afm......well BIG NEWS......last night was night TWO that K had no dummy :silly: I noticed Sunday morning that his dummy had a tear in so i decided then and there that it was to dangerous for him to suck incase it broke off in his house and that i was not going to get him another one, i gave him one of his birthday presents (mr. potatoe head..bad i know) and explained to him that this was replacing his dummy as it was broken and old and he was a big boy, he took it fine and told me to throw it away. He fall asleep relatively easy that night - no crying, he was just a chatterbox of note lol, last night he also didnt cry, asked for it once, i reminded him it was broken and he was fine....YAY, this is such a relief as i REALLY thought it was going to be tough, so i am really proud of him :)

Then birthday plans for the weekend, Friday at 14:30 he has his little party at school so i will leave early so i can take pics etc. Then that evening we are just getting some cupcakes and the IL's as well as my mom will come and see him, once they leave and K is in bed i need to start preparing the food etc, next day is his party, my mom and her BF are coming early to help dh and I. Sunday we then go to the IL's as they going to have a "mini party" for him because they not coming to his actual party, after that we need to go grocery shopping etc so busy and exciting weekend ahead.

I did some of the party packs last night, each child will get a juice, pkt of lays chips, pkt of jelly babies, a sucker and then a little car and Disney Car's bubbles. There will also be mini hotdogs, cars (the ones my mom is baking), little chomps with jelly tots on (robots) etc for the kids to snack on, for adults theres mini hotdogs, samoosas, mini quiche, savory rolls etc

okay got to run, have a wonderful day ladies :)

Morning everyone

Christi I do hope Iris feels better soon.

Mandy glad you were spoilt and had so much fun.

Nelria, LOL, at you needing another fairy outfit for Lea already.

Simone, Addy is just the cutest big sister.

Julz, keeping my fingers crossed for you.

Yoza, so glad that Siba is doing so well and that the kids as doing well with their swimming lessons.

Lisha, I hope that all goes well with the sale of your house. I know what you mean because Our house is a OK size but if I want to move to a "better" area I will have to stay in a smaller place. Don't mind it though as I guess it will be less of a hassle to clean

Pfairy how are thing going in OZ?? Are the kids still enjoying their little adventures?

Hello to everyone else and also happy birthday to all those I have missed.

Work is great and we are all working really hard so that we can finish off earlier in December. Cole's School closed ont he 15th so would like to be at home with him then. He is doing great and we have no introduced the "naughty chair" (after a lot of convincing I had to do to DH) and it seems to be helping a lot.

No more sweet and snacks so he is eating so much better now and he is growing nicely. Will weigh him again at the end of the month and then taking him to the paed again in December.

Will pop in again a bit later

Hi ladies

Simone Addison sounds too precious ... she's going to spoil her brother a lot :)

Pfairy thanks for that link ... going to go check it out just now.

Christi hope Iris is better soon. Need to go look for your birth story, pretty interested to see how it all went.

Mandy you're welcome my friend. So pleased you had 2 very nice showers in 1 day and hope we get to see some pics soon. How is Cameron dealing with the idea of a baby sister being here soon?

Nelria so pleased you managed to get Lea off her dummy & bottle with so little drama. Sure the night nappie will be a thing of the past soon too.

Re our house we've had a 2 couples come see it so far. First couple the husband said there aren't enough trees and the second couple didn't want place with stairs as they have old parents so getting into house would have been a bit difficult for them. We're not in too much of a hurry and are prepared to drive Shrey up & down for a little while next year so not willing to negotiate on price just yet either.

Vix hope C settles into better poo routine soon ... must be awful to be afraid to poo :( Hope the twins are well.

AFM things fine on this side. My mum is visiting my sister in GP for the week so it's going to be a little bit hectic ... feel spoiled these days and suddenly to have to do all these things is a shock to the system lol.

Shrey is well. A real little character these days. Says and does such funny things. He has a bit of a moan when we dropped him off at mil this morning but was easily distracted by a new toy fil got him.
We're not really looking for a new place at the moment, just sussing out the potential neighbourhoods we've shortlisted. Probably going to drive around this coming Sunday to see what feels & looks safer. We know for sure though that we aren't going to get as big a place as we currently have, at an affordable price.

Morning ladies

Quiet here again....

I left home before Addison woke up this morning. poor child woke up hysterical as she dreamt her dad made me disappear with his magic wand. She then said she wants to turn him into frog and make him disappear with her wand! lol. I chatted to her on phone...shame she kept saying she loved me and missed me!

So excited for baby to get here as Addison is just so sweet about him. She put a 'neckalce' on for him the other day. If she kisses me or her dad she kisses him as well...prays for him..always includes him when she speaks about her family. Very very sweet:)

Christi forgot to say no worries re: gift....I hardly expect you to trek to post office with one week old!! Hope Iris feeling better!

Birthdays coming up? This week is K and the twins?

Will pop in later when i'm not talking to myself.lol.
