Morning ladies

Yoza I hope you had a better night last night. How are Buhle & Siba this morning?

Simone you mentioned Buhle & Addy being the same weight - Shrey is lighter than Buhle lol

Nicole glad you guys had a good weekend. Always nice for the old people to spend time with the kids.

Jessica sounds like you have your hands full  Hope it eases up soon.

Nelria glad that Lea's bite wasn't worse. How are the preps for the move going? Have you started packing? Time will really sneak up on you.

Helen thanks for asking about my gran. She's doing so much better. She loved being at home with Shrey but she left on Sunday so not sure when we'll see her again. She is still getting occasional spells of confusion but otherwise she is almost fully recovered, well as much as an 83 year old can be.
Sorry to hear about Theo's gran, how is she doing now? Shame man they are so very fragile at this stage.
I agree with Julz that it's good that you had the meltdown, just helped you get rid of all that built up frustration I'm sure. Hope you're feeling better now and that Oliver & Nina are 100% well asap xxx

Julz Shrey is also such a gem when it's only the two of us. He is so sweet and loving but when dh is around even if he isn't moaning and being 'naughty' he is play fighting so gets a little bit aggressive.
Pleased to hear that the potty training is back on track.

Ally the charity thing sounds very interesting, very curious to hear more.

AFM we had a okay night, Shrey slept with us more than in his cot ... I am wondering if maybe he isn't 100% comfortable with the duvet I put in for this week. Will change it tonight and see if that makes a difference.
I had a nice full body massage yesterday before going home ... pity I couldn't just get home and crawl into bed immediately thereafter lol.
I think I have a mild version of the flu again this week. Felt really miserable yesterday and very feverish all day. Had meds again last night. Still have a scratchy throat and feel a little bit drained this morning but much better than yesterday. If it wasn't for make up I'll be walking around with dark circles under my eyes.

Have a great day ladies.

Hi mommies.

I wrote one hell of a long post yesterday and then it just disappeared so I was so pissed off I didn't want to do it all again.

Julz, lol at Dylan pooping in the kennel..Mandy's right, def one for his 21st.

Mandy, I can't imagine how hard it must be to get divorced when you have kids so I'm very glad to hear your sister and bil are handling it so well. Sending a lot of positive thoughts and prayers their way. It must be terrible to go through that.

Aidan is also still having accidents every now and then. I think it's a boy thing. I think he gets so caught up in what he's doing he doesn't notice he has to pee...and then other days, he's so proud that he pee'd on the floor, he wants everyone to look...

Nelria, I think my dad paid 100k for our kitchen. But it might be more. He got a new double fridge, new oven, gas stove plus extractor, granite tops, cherrywood cupboards etc. etc. Kitchens are very expensive but I would rather pay that much and know that my kitchen is going to look fab.

We've decided not to go to Stilbaai at the end of April with my dad and older brother. My younger brother's not going so it makes it easier for us to just stay here. But we will be going in September for Whale watching season. We'll probably then be going to CT for a few days as well.

I'm busy putting proposals together for a charity event I'm doing. It's getting bigger and bigger and I just hope I can organise it without making myself look like an idiot. Once we have sponsors lined up I'll tell you gals what we have planned. I have another VERY BIG food blogger on board and he is sponsored by Woolies so I hope it turns out as great as I want it to.

Let me get going, want to get some oats started for the twins. Oh, I don't know if I told you, I'm off the herbalife now. Going back to the gym to a trainer. That's the only way I ever lost weight and it costs the same as Herbalife. I was never dedicated enough to it so it's just a waste of money!

Hi Gals

Shoo all the babies seem to be keeping the moms really busy.

Helen glad you had a meltdown. Sorry sounds odd I know, but I am pleased that you are human! I seriously don't know how you cope with all that has happened to you in the past couple months. Nothing is more scary than kids that don't get fevers. Dylan was like that for the first year. Luckily he does get fevers but they are never very high even when he is really sick so poor indication.

Nelria 45000 is a very basic kitchen. Our kitchen cost up at least 120 000. Granite tops and veneer cupboards are expensive, then you add new decent fittings and it is mind blowing and lets not even mention the plumbing and electrical!

Xen sounds adorable!!

Yoza I hope you feel better soon.

To all the moms here with more than one kid, seriously how the hell do you cope? Vix we won't even mention you and the tweenies!!!

I am amazed.

So potty training back on track thanks to spiderman stickers! need to buy more tomorrow.

I don't know about you guys but Dylan is a total joy when it is just him and I. As soon as Neil and I are together with him he acts up.

Tonight Neil is playing squash and Dylan and I had such an awesome time together. No shouting(me) or screaming( him).

I have also shifted his sleep time back to 7. In ct it gets dark so late in summer that it is hard to put kids to bed before 8 ,but now it gets dark earlier which is great. I think he was always overtired by 8. I am sure my theory will be proven wrong tomorrow.

Mom of Dylan and Partner to Joerg. We live in the Beautiful Pringle Bay which is along the Whale coast, Cape.

Helloooo :)

Feels like I've been MIA for ages!! Been pretty busy this last week or so, Mum's partner arrived last week and is staying for a couple of weeks so we've been busy entertaining for a few days, they've gone to Uvongo for a week now so we have the house to ourselves :)

Julz - Sorry about the backwards steps in potty training, have to laugh at Dylan confidently telling you he's peed in your bedroom lol and as for turning the kennel into his own personal bathroom, LMAO, boys will be boys!! I think it mujst be a phase as it seems a few of the kids are regressing in the potty training department. We have the same problem as Nicole, Oliver point blank refuses to poop in the potty, he only ever does it in private in his nappy when he goes down for a nap :S I figure he'll do it when he's ready as long as he's doing his wees in the potty I'm happy for now.

Zee - Shooo, that must've been a scare of note, so glad all is well, please try and get some rest although I imagine that can't be easy with a toddler and all your studying.

Vix - How are your tweenies doing? Is C still giving you the cold shoulder? Oliver has his moments as well, slightly different but he can be very possessive, not with me but for example when Theo gets home from work he mustn't hold Nina, he must play with him. I have a friend of the family that comes to visit and Oliver's always been the apple of her eye and if she tries to hold Nina he gets upset and literally hangs off her lol. But I can safely leave Oliver and Nina alone in the same room and know he won't harm her thank goodness.

Yoza - Thanks for the tips ;) Its pretty much what I do already apart from picking a theme, he's definitely improving and you can see that he's trying so hard bless him, it just sometimes seems that no matter how hard he tries he just can't get it so I think we'll take him for an assessment next month. Sorry you had a rough weekend, hope you can get some rest ASAP and that your kiddywinkles get better soonest. X x X

Simone - Glad you had a nice shoot, I have to laugh, photographers must know that 90% of the time us parents are going to buy more than we anticipate because we just can't pass up the good pics!!

Nelria - Exciting stuff moving into your house, looks awesome from the photos :) As for Xen standing, awesome! i also think Nina's going to be a bit quicker than her brother in a few departments, I'm definitely hoping she's going to be a better talker lol, at the rate she's going I think she probably will be, she's full of chatter already lol.

Lisha - Quiet weekends are sometimes the best ;) How is your Gran now? Theo's Gran had a fall today :( She hasn't been doing well for the last couple of months, she's always had heart problems but her heart is really taking strain now and the doctor has very reassuringly told us all that her heart is so swollen that she could have anything from minutes to months before it gives up the ghost. But get this, she passed out and fell today and because her skin is so thin it all fell off (sorry if thats tmi for some of you), this happened at 10am this morning so they phoned for an ambulance (she doesn't have medical aid) and it only came to collect her at 4pm!!!!!!!!!!! Because it wasn't 'life threatening'!!!!!!!!!

Jess - How are you doing?! How's everything going with Riley and Bryce?

And I apologise but that's where I hit a blank ;)

AFM We are well, Nina just loves to give me stress, she stopped drinking Thurs and Fri so off we went to the doc, she has a sore throat but the doc reassures me its just viral so just have to wait it out. Her ears were clear at the time but I'm not conviced as Oliver has just gotten over a throat and ear infection and she's been taking a long time to settle today which is usually an indication that something is up. Sometimes I wish my kids just got temperatures, that way I'd know something wasn't right but Oliver has never had a fever above 37.5 and it looks like Nina might be the same and she likes to make me worry as some days she drinks lots and some days she won't drink much at all. I still think there's somethig not quite right but Theo thinks I'm being a bit paranoid and at the end of the day all the time she's picking up weight I suppose I shouldn't stress myself.

Had a bit of a meltdown on Saturday night (ok that might be an understatement lol), Oliver had been whiney and difficult all day and was really testing me and Nina was still off her milk, then when I was drying Oliver after his bath he jumped up and caught me under my nose (bless him he didn't mean too), it was so sore it made me cry (and is still bruised now!) and oh goodness me, once I started crying I just could not stop! I was sobbing my heart out for nearly an hour lol and I didn't even really know why, everytime Theo spoke to me I cried, everytime mum said something I cried even more, shooo it was terrible (not to mention embarrassing in the presence of mum's partner). I think its that I finally cracked, I've been so 'together' over the last 6 weeks with everyone being sick, worrying about everything that's been going on with Nina, completely exhausetd from lack of sleep (Nina is still waking most nights around 4am), feeling crap that I have to go back to work soon (I'll still be doing some work from home but my friend can't afford to pay me what I need until she's up and running), my mum's leaving in a month and (this might sound a bit weird) but seeing my mum's partner made me really sad that my dad hasn't met Nina yet and miss him. Phew, it was just everything, I felt like a load had been lifted after my crying session but man oh man did I look terrible afterwards lol, I could barely see my eyes were so swollen hehe.

Anyways, that's all I've got time for, I am always reading even if I don't have the energy (or time!) to reply! X x X
