Simone- I hope Addy is as fond of birdies as C, he forgave them pretty quick when he saw they left him a present in the tree! No C hasn't asked for dummy or bottle, I think because he can understand 'where' they went he made peace with it. If I'd have just told him no you can't have it cos I said so we would still be having tantrums today.

You just made me realize, All I have done is turn the nappy cost into car cost so I'm not really spending any more money but he's getting the bonus of a toy and I get the bonus of a toilet trained boy. Think he'll be on the night nappies for a while longer though, he just pees so much at night because he's a huge drinker and I just can't bring myself to refuse him water when he asks, I mean seriously who can resist a child who says 'mm mmmm water, more please mommy'

I bought labels for C's lunch box and sports bottles etc and they're great, dishwasher safe, microwave safe nuclear fall out safe they thought of everything except.........nasty sticker ripping child safe! My child thinks stickers are plasters for all his eina's and pulls them off everything, even though I tried giving him sheets of regular stickers noooooo they're not fun, let's rather rip off all the expensive name labels mommy vought for school stuff grrrrr BOYS!!!!

Nicole- C is so good with the boys so I really can't complain, I can leave them in a room alone now and he just ignores them but he shows his jealousy through resenting and pushing me away and as much as I'm a grown woman and know it won't last I do feel incredibly heart broken. I think boys definately have this special thing for mommy and when they get hurt they are stubborn! I'm so pleased they are paying for fixing your garden. We're now having a few issues with the kitchen company but only very minor, still I refuse to just put up and shut up because I am paying damn good money for thiem to do it right.

Ally- I can't wait to watch Pasella!

I actually can't wait for monday to see if DH's story it in this months mag.....

Ally thankfully when we were still potty training Addison we didn't have poo accidents!lol. I would have freaked! No way u can achieve the same success in Jhb?

Was looking at nappies in Game pamphlet today...thought its so weird....we bought our last pack of nappies October last year...boy I don't miss it!

Vix having 3 kids to buy nappies for...I'd be bribing with gold jewellery if I had to...lol. So cars work out cheaper!

Ended up baking white choc cupcakes...with choc pieced inside and white choc ganache on top. Not actually as sweet as it sounds...was quite nice. Then also made red velvet cupcakes from the Nigella book...very light and fluffy...very nice. Had 1 of each...my poor diet!! Offering them all away tomorrow when my friends over!

HI ladies.

Sorry I've been MIA all day. Had a cooking demo in JHB this morning and then just lazed around all day. Didn't even want to switch my pc on.

Vix, I have to say I'm also lucky with the twins, they only want to poop on the toilet. Aidan pees in the potty but Abi only pees on the toilet. They still have poo accidents now and then but I'm just leaving them and encouraging them to poo on the toilet. C doesn't believe in bribing them for something they should be doing (even though I wanted to do a star chart) but C says no, sleeping, eating and toilet training shouldn't get rewarded.

C and I are bumping heads a bit the last week. Just stupid things that we both get jumpy about. Just maybe that time of year for us. Nothing serious though. We are however talking about moving to CT. I don't know if I'll be able to leave my family (just talking about it makes me want to cry) but I will just thrive there business wise. I walk into a restaurant there and the managers and owners know who I am without ever meeting me! It's amazing.

Lelani, sorry about the job! Bastards for not letting you know! The show airs Wednesday 13 April at 19h30 on SABC2.

Simone, I won't be able to move from a BB ever now. I hate the camera at the beginning but not such a worry for me anymore. I just have my twitter, FB and e-mails right there all the time so it will be so hard for me to move to another type of phone!

We have a braai with C's family on Sunday and then a braai with mine on Monday. Not too hectic of a weekend but I actually wish I could just stay home and watch movies.

vix i like your way potty training. K is doing very well, but lately he seems to be freaked out by his poo so he cries for a nappy on, and when i have to clean him he also cries - like his embarresed/scared?? But other than that he is doing really well and his always in his undies

Vix sorry to hear you are still sick. I agree E might just have to be more tough on C if he is still reacting this way. It must be very difficult for all of you. I know if i had baby nr 2, K would be very jealous and insecure, i held a baby a few weeks back and he wouldnt even look at me, ignored me for the majority of the day.

Plans for the weekend - not much, Dh works tomorrow, then if the weather clears (its raining badly here) we will have a nice braai, sunday we have family coming to visit and then Monday we will proberly take to the touch farm or to the zoo for boat rides . I loooove public holidays

K is eating very well these days..................as long as he has tomatoe sauce on his plate, i ran out the other day - and he refused to eat his supper?

Leaving the office at 15:00 today...yipee. I have a very busy week next week, lots of meetings.

(Gosh its pouring here, hope it doesnt rain all weekend else K gets very frustrated which leads to mommy getting very frustrated and loosing her sanity....)

Simone- That's something I MUST be greatful for, C only uses the potty to pee in if we're not around when he wants to go but he has never made a poo in it, only ever on the toilet.

We need to wean soon! Off the freakin potty! Addy happy to use toilet at church or people's homes...but at home? No...'Small potty mummy, not big toilet!' Eish! So that thing needs to disappear soon!
