Thank you for all the well wishes these last few days - I really appreciate your support.

The c-sec went great - the anesthetist was WONDERFUL!!!!! I didn't feel a thing - not one single thing - the spinal was eina for a short bit but then it was done. Gynea cut and started doing his thing but then had to make the cut bigger because Riley isn't exactly what you would call a small baby. LOL but the first comment from the gynae was "kyk hoe groot is die baba se kop" (look how big his head is) And Riley is also the 2nd biggest baby he's ever delivered during his career.

But we got home on friday and wow what a adjustment - I forgot how exhausting it is having a newborn in the house again.

I'm expressing & giving a top up of 30-60ml NAN at this point to get him to settle. Hells bells this boy is hungry!

Bryce is completely entranced by his little brother but I'm sure that novelty will wear off at some point.... LOL

There were too many pages to catch up on so if someone could give me a heads-up on what new in the zoo that would be great!

Otherwise - how is everyone doing??

Mandy- I'm sorry you guys won't make a profit to sell, the market is actually terrible at the moment, my mum's farm was valued at 4.2m and finally sold for 2.6m but it took them 4 years to sell it too. In the end it was an overseas guy who bought. I hope the market picks up by the time you need an extra bedroom.

Also sorry to hear about your SIL's divorce but it's probably for the best. I hope they can sort the assets out soon for the kids sake.

PFairy- wow, so sorry about the lice! Poor Mia! Poor mommy! Xxxx I'm so pleased to hear Perth is so family orientated. I was actually just thinking today, I miss that about europe, there are almost no clean well equipt parks or picnic spots here and if there are then they charhge you a fortune to get in. At least in England there is always a park close by where the kids can play. Mmmmm now you're making me jealous that you're going somewhere so nice!

I always said I'm happy with SA, I like it here but as I've had kids and they're getting bigger there are a lot of things that are not as suitable as they would be if we lived in europe Makes me think more and more about moving back.

Simone- Don't worry about the whole situation, just enjoy getting your post as many replies as possible so you can win your GHD, I hope it pulls a lot of new members in too. I'll be pasting the link on my FB as soon as I get on the PC.

Mmmmm so I'm sitting on the fence for the cricket tomorrow........ But I tend to think I'm more swayne towards my roots! Especially after the fantastic game against India, that was brilliant, had me on the edge of my seat by the end.

I made C a fantastic new duvet/sleeping bag thing for him to take to school on monday, I wrapped it up and made a big thing about how nice it is and he refuses to touch it. Hates it gutted, hope he'll use it if I send it in.

what a busy few weeks.

Mia was in "quarantine" re the head lice. couldn't go to school. I didn't know what to do anymore. every time she is "clean" from headlice, they appear again. must be from someone from the school. she is not in contact with any other children other than the school's children. And then last monday afternoon, they told me she is not allowed back before she is "clean" from the bugs. I was in tears. she get it from them, but then she is the one not allowed back. I was so upset with the teacher. so, mia was at home for 4 days. I got rid of every bug and egg. and when I took her back I told them she is clean now, and if she ever gets it again, there will be trouble. so, now I make hair in a "bolla" each morning and spray her hair with hairspray. hopefully that way they won't keep coming back to her hair. they love the thick hair.

On Thursday one of the children came to me and hug me and I could smell that they've treated her hair with tea tree oil. I was furious then. How can she be allowed in school?????? I then told the teacher that I now know that they are picking on Mia. the next day the child is not at the school.... I will be watching them now.....

o and we went to Australia last saturday. flight was okey. I don't like flying. arrived in Perth on sunday morning. went to the hotel and sleep. then friends came and fetch us and we went to their house for the day. was so nice. sitting on the beach watching the sunset while all the children is playing. man... that is a very nice place. The monday hubby went for his medicals. I went shopping. the tuesday hubby went to the mining site (about 700km from perth) I slept late, order room service and then started to walk. for about 15km. there is a heat wave in Perth now and it was terrible hot. I got so sunburnt from the walk. But I love the parks there. you must see the playgrounds. it is all these lovely and modern playing equipment. castles, dinosaurs, etc. there is gas BBQ's in the parks and near the beach.

Australia is so family orientated. I couldn't believe it. they do everything for the children. I can't explain it.

The wednesday we went on a orientation tour. was very nice. saw nice suburbs.

And we came back on wednesday night. Landed in SA on Thursday morning 5 oclock.

So, it is now officially, we are emigrating to Perth!!!!! lots of work still to be done. put the house in the market. sell our cars. they said the visa can take from 2 weeks.... I said NO.... I'm emotionally not ready to do everything in two weeks. and I still have to resign. I rather looking at 2 months.

Vix, how is the twins these days? and the colic? I see C is in crèche now. Can't believe the teacher said that to you. He is only for a few days in a crèche, he must get used to all their rules, etc. that takes time.... stupid woman....

Julz, glad your trip to India went well. for how long will you be away? I got so sad when reading about your dog. I'm so sorry to hear that.

Mandy, shame about your sister. I can just imagine how much you want to be with her.
Re cancer. I always wonder what the symptoms is. how will I know? that is so sad about her. Hope she will recover fully.

Helen, sorry to hear about Nina. I really do hope there is nothing wrong with her hips. Mia also had a problem with her hips in the beginning and I can remember reading about the clicking hips. I thought Mia had that. But the x-rays revealed nothing was wrong.
