I did a post under the March GHD thread. Our very own Vix has kindly volunteered her time and name to my 'WIN A GHD' campaign and is offering a weekly gift to the top tip giver and replier for every week of March!!

I had to wait for the go ahead from Moomie and they allowed it, so very excited!!!

Sorry I was so quiet yesterday. I had a wedding in the afternoon so was getting read and doing some work all morning.

Helen, so sorry about Nina's ear infection and her hip. Please keep us updated what the OS says.

Yoza, did Buhle have a lovely 1st birthday?

Hi ladies

Not a good morning this side. My gran has become very ill this morning. She's suddenly very disorientated and very confused - she's battling to remember names etc My mom rushed over at 7am and they are now waiting for my uncle to get out of a meeting to take her to the hospital.

Otherwise we had a good night. Shrey slept well (and there I go jinx myself ) he only came to our bed at 5am so not bad.

Helen hope you got to have your glass of wine last night. Sorry to hear that Nina still hasn't recovered. Hope this new course of meds will fix her up and really hoping that the click can be sorted out with minimum fuss. Like Yoza says better to sort these things out while they are still so little than have complications when she's older. Thinking of you and your lovely little girl.

Zee lol she does sound adorable.

Mandy hope you did get your period today. And hope the tests can give you some answers.

Julz sorry for all the bad things happening when you're just about to leave. Hope the dog gets better. Safe travels.

Vix thanks for that tip, I was under the impression that we didn't get those devices in SA so will have a look for it this weekend.
The twins sound lovely and such differing personalities Hope C is loving his new class.

Yoza did you guys do anything to celebrate Buhle's birthday yesterday or are celebrations happening this weekend.

Helen: Do not dispair with nina. All i can say thank God the pead found something sooner. let me tell you a lil story. my aunt has twin girls at the age of 13 the one started limping and she took him to the doctors who found nothing later an othopeadic in Cape Town diagnosed pearthise diseas (exc spelling) for a year she was bed ridden due to braces and a casp. she attended physio did an operation and was in hospital for six months. Her recovery took two years she still limps but not as bad.

The orthopedic said this is something the doctors could have detected when the lil one was a baby and could have been treated
With the advancement of mordern medicine your princess will be fine. rather they go through this whilst they are babies and recovery is quicker and effective.

Good on you for going to your pead, motherly instincts are always spot on. I know the visits to the doctrs leave the bank balance really bad cause the medical aid never pays the full amounts.

Helen, i am so sorry you are going through such a tough time!!!!!! I hope the meds the Doc prescribes will help get Nina better quick quick. So sorry to hear about the 'click' in her hope, but they caught it very early so at least it can be treated before her body starts 'growing'. Big (((hugs))).

Julz, its always tough to say good bye to family, but im sure you all had a wonderful time together. Are you leaving for India today? I hope your dog is a 100% better.xxx

Vix, the creche sounds really nice! Im so glad C is happy there, is he still not sleeping at nap time? Alex sounds sooooo cute, lol and Jono having a problem with life

afm, we are all doing fine, loving living in our new place. K is being very cute and at night is asking where is friends are but he says there names like Ryan, Edean and Lala. He is in general chatting up a storm these days.
