Morning ladies! (Yes it's 4:30 again!)

I was reading up all day but everytime I hit reply Jono found an issue with life and decided to tell the whole neighbourhood about it. Especially when Mommy plays any kinda music involving serious noise Micheal Buble tomorrow then it seems

So what I want to say first is......

HaPpY BiRtHdAy bUhLe!!!! Wow a whole year! It's actually crazy how fast a year has gone, you bring your mommy and Daddy so much joy but more importantly your big brother, you make him so so happy he just loves having you around anyone can see that!

Yoza! Well done mommy! What a gorgeous lil girl your princess is! It's amazing how much she looks like Siba, like really if they weren't different sizes and sexes I would mistake them for identical twins! They're both adorable children who look just like their stunning mother! Xxxx

Simone- was doing my replies from the phone today because PC was out of Data so I promise tomorrow I'll give you a decent amount of tips! I'm rooting for you to win this month's GHD.

Nelria- once my mum moves I will go check out what she has that she doesn't want and then I'll let you know. Then one day maybe I can rather come visit in the Bakkie and bring the stuff through to you.

I agree about picking up germs from strangers touching babies. My friends twins recently were admitted to hospital with salmonella poisoning. They have no ideas how they caught it but it comes from raw chicken, dirty animals and things like that. Now when people in a supermarket pick up those meat trays and the NEVER wipe their hands before continuing to shop. Then they can't understand why I don't want them to touch my babies? I always take hand sanitizer with when I go out in public and I am forever pumping that stuff onto my hands because these little bodies can pick up any little germs and for them it's way more serious than a runny tummy is to us.

Zee- shame man, I didn't mean to add to your emotional heap, I just was thinking about you and I love to know how our preggt faries are doing.

Speaking of which, Ankia- how you feeling, you're heading for the 12w mark now aren't you? So is the MS subsiding yet?

Helen- OMW you guys are having a hell of a time at the moment! I'm so pleased you allowed your mommy instinct to speak up, it's amazing how you 'just know' when something is wrong with your child. Grrr about the sunday Dr, next time she's incredibly sick on a weekend maybe just take her to the ER so that there's a better chance of getting a good Dr. Let's face it you're gonna pay big for a Dr on a sunday anyway. My Paed is fantastic that way though, he works almost every weekend, he doesn't have 'appointments' made but because he has to go up to the hospital to check on his NICU patients he says if baby is really sick and it can't wait til monday I can phone his cell and he'll tell me what time he's gonna be at the hospital then he'll just pop into his rooms to check baby over before he goes back home. I think it probably helps that he has a 4 & 9 year old himself. So sorry to hear about Nina's click in her hip, Thankfully they noticed it nice and early so they can treat her before her body starts growing too uch, I also eagerly await 1st April to hear what the specialist has to say. What about asking the 'resident specialist surgeon' that moomie advertized a few weeks back, maybe he/she can give you some more info on the subject to help calm your nerves?

Julz- you too my friend, 2011 is not being very kind to you is it? What a stinking huge bill for the landrover, I really hope the insurace pay up and don't just write it off! I am sorry you had such a sad farewell with the family, it's easy to stay far apart from family when you don't see them bit once you have that visit it makes it tought to say goodbye. I am dreading returning to SA after my first visit to UK with the boys. I can't believe it's already time for you to go to India again! Time sure does fly.

Lwasi- I'm glad you're feeling a bit better but poor Amo you guys are also having a hectic time! I hate hate hate having to deal with HA it's a nightmare!

Oh wait Lisha- I've been meaning to say for AGES, have you tried those plug in pest repellants? The ones that verimark/hommark advertize? They send a pulse through all your electrical piping which makes a 'noise' that the pests don't like so they stay out your house. I see on the advert they say money back guarentee so maybe you should get one and see if your Geko issues come to an end?

They put C up into the 2-3yrs class yesterday and already he seems much happier. Now instead of saying 'oh shit' he says 'oh my goodness' and it is soooo freakin cute! I now have to send in pull ups and no bottles because teacher says it's time to potty train and wean. Mmmm goodluck. We have to both go in tomorrow afternoon as she wants to have a family meeting so she can get some background on C and our family so we can work together to ensure he has a stable routine that mimicks itself at school and home. I thought that was fantastic, she sounds so lovely. They think I'm cruel though because C doesn't like juice, he rather asks for water LOL

Alex is working on my heart strings, everytime he looks at me now he smiles away cooing. He's def mommys boy! Jonathan is being naughty!!!!! Me don't very much like naughty Jonathan! He doesn't want to lay or sit when awake, he just wants in the arms, he's such a carbon copy of C in looks and personality, it's scary!

O.k I best get some more sleep, need to go find helecopter fabric tomorrow so I can make C a dudu blanket he will actually agree to dudu on at school grrrrrrr

Oh and it's 5:26 now and everyone's asleep but me, terrible I know!

Evening.

So the whole family arriving was great, but then the whole family said good bye tonight and it is really sad. My dog was supposed to come home after tests today, but he collapsed again and they are keeping him over night to assess him some more. Oh and that quote was 64 000 without vat so more like 72000. Insurance may pay but still fed up. It is a landrover so they can't really do panel beating. They have to replace.

And I leave for India tomorrw. So sad for all that Neil is dealing with. I really hope they can help Murdoc. He is my sweetie. Won't be nice to get bad news and travel in one day.

Anyway enough self pity. Wine helped a bit and I am going onto sleeping meds as I am heading for a burn out if I don't sleep properly soon.


Helen I am so sorry for what you are going through. I hope the hips are okay and I hope March goes quickly so that you get the answers. Well done on taking Nina back again.

Mandy I am pleased that they are doing tests. I am sure you will get to the bottom of your ttc issue. xx

Hey Gals, Helen - ahh shame hon!! you are really having a bad run.. poor little Nina - ssooo tiny yet so sick!! Shesh, its not easy..at least you have her on the right meds now, if you had left it any longer she could have landed up in hospital ( which Cameron did! ) Helen - just remember all of this too will pass and Im praying that Ninas leg is right as rain...

So I went off the pill in Jan and my day 1 of cycle was 10 Jan so I am on day 53 with no period and have tested twice to ensure that I am not pregnant ... so really quite worried.. and I got a gynea appointment 2 weeks ago and they called to cancel yesterday as my gynae is recovering from a sudden op, so now they have requested certain bloods that a stand in gynae will assess either on friday or monday before they tell me if they have picked up a problem.. Luckily i think I am FINALLY getting my period tomorrow as I always get this dull headache the day before, so wish me luck !! it would be nice to start TTC but ive had to wait it out this long so its not too fun!

I'm feeling extremely defeated today. Took Nina to the paed, she was due her 3 month check up anyway so I just brought it forward a few days because she still just doesn't seem right. She started squealing yesterday but it wasn't a happy squeal, more an 'I'm in pain' squeal and her sleeping has been really off these last few days. Turns out she still has an ear infection and its pretty bad now, I'm a bit pissed because I took her back to a doctor after she finished her first course of antibiotics because she'd spent the day screaming and still didn't seem well to me, it was a Sunday so I couldn't take her to our regular doctor's surgery so the doc I saw told me she was fine and that there was nothing wrong and basically made me feel like a paranoid freak (aaaaand it cost a fortune because it was a Sunday). I KNEW something was still wrong but figured I must've been imagining it if the doc gave her the all clear. Anyways, she's now on some heavy medication; anti biotics for 7 days, Zyrtec and Flixonase for allergies as well just in case that's the underlying cause and then we have to go back to see the paed in 7-10days for him to check she's all cleared up otherwise its a trip to the ENT specialist.

But worse than all that, he's discovered a click in her hip It means we have to go and see an orthopaedic surgeon as it could have serious implications in terms of her development with learning to walk etc. It doesn't hurt her but the click means it hasn't developed properly but until they do an ultrasound there aren't any answers as to how serious it is and if and what treatment will be required. The chances are she will probably have to have a sort of brace fitted to try and right it Needless to say I'm quite concerned and the crappy thing is that the earliest appointment I could get was 1st April so now we have a month to stew

Anyways, that's my day, I'm going to pour myself a big glass of wine once the kiddies have gone to bed and I think I might just have myself a little cry, feeling a bit sorry for myself.
