Ally I think because she took to it so well...and we have honestly had minimal accidents....I thought the accident phase was behind us. I'll just tell Cynthia to ask her occassionally...especially if she's infront of the tv...cause she zones in and nothing...not even a tornado can get her away! lol

My cousin's daughter also only came off nappies at 3.5yrs...as she refused to let her use public toilet in a mall and made her use a nappy. I understand the germ aspect...I use the paper towels with the sanitiser and wash the seat then put down toilet paper over that...also planning to keep anti bacterial spray in my bag to spray on in future.

She told me day time was easy but night time we'd battle...but her daughter was also drinking bottle til almost 4 so that's why they battled at night.

This potty training was honestly alot easier than I thought it was going to be.

I remember Lelani saying...wait til they're ready and it will be a piece of cake...and she was right of course! Irrespective of the age i think...they just need to be ready and not forced...whether 2 or 4.

Vix, thanx so much for the beautiful comment! I don't think the public gets to vote, it's just the public who gets to nominate, the people at the M&G will probably decide who gets in. So all the nominations I get are kind of like votes I guess.

I really like the idea of a ceiling fan in the kitchen. I get so hot and bothered when cooking in summer plus like Simone says, less flies AND it's good ventilation for incase something smokes a lot etc.

Simone, re the peeing, I can't give you advice because Aidan also still pee's on the floor sometimes. I read in my toddler the book the other day that you can expect accidents for quite some time because even though they know what to do, they are sometimes concentrating on something else or playing so nicely that they just forget to ask to go to the loo.

Speaking of which, I forgot to buy nappies yesterday so we let the kids sleep in undies in the afternoon and they didn't have accidents, and then I forgot to go in the afternoon AGAIN and we only had one nappy so we put it on Aidan and let Abi sleep in her panties and she didn't have a single accident ALL NIGHT! I am so chuffed. So now she's basically completely off nappies. Aidan uses one a day because we're going to let him sleep in undies during the afternoon too. YAY! I can't believe my kids are potty training so fast and my SIL struggled for 2 years with my nephew. He's only NOW off his night time nappy and he's 4. But it was also their fault, he would need to pee or poop and they'd say "ag just go in your nappy" so he got mixed signals.

Anyways, off to the shops for me again today, want to go see if I can't get something nice to wear the the fancy dinner on Saturday night, even just new jeans will work.

I am doing great, William is better at school, not running in yet, but we will get there.
Just want to answer Vix - we have a ceiling fan in the kitchen and it is great, I could not imagine the kitchen without it. We use ours alot.

The ceiling fans....you're right I have never seen it...but it sounds like a good idea...especially in summer when its so freakin hot! Also I think a fan keeps flies away??? Our neighbours all have dogs and I find on a Sunday when we're cooking up a storm ARGH the flies come um...flying?? I hate it!

Julz...oh I hope whatever it is gets resolved. Its not nice to have family drama and politics, especially at a time like this! I do find weddings bring out the worst in people

We are having a bit of a problem...you know Addison is fully potty trained day and night, so it's all good. Yesterday I saw her panty was wet and when I asked her she told me: I pee pee on grass!

I asked her but where are you supposed to pee pee? She tells me: on the small toilet (her potty).

So my mom says this morning again Addison's panty was wet and she told Cynthia: I pee pee on floor!

Now WTF? Perhaps we should go back to asking her if she needs to wee? These kids and their games! I find she gets distracted sometimes and literally holds her wee to the last second cause she will have a drop on her panty and run frantically to the toilet or potty where she'll let rip....so perhaps she forgets and then realises too late she needed to go?? I dont know....

Vix she loved her present...lol.Kept exclaiming its beautiful! It was a pink and blue hair band with long tassles and stars on the ends. So she went...'ooh its pretty mama! A pink one and a blue one! its beautiful! '

Thats a great idea with the cars! I must go and check...and inexpensive! I dont have a present for madam today...there are small easter eggs in the cupboard at home so will pretend I brought her one of those if she asks. Can you believe they are selling easter eggs already????
