Ally- I ust just add that given the choice all over again wether to take away the dummy or keep it and get further on the potty training my choice would stay the same. My child is no longer covered in dribble, he is speaking so beautifully and is sleeping through ever since he gave it up. The nappy can wait a bit longer that I have no issues with but the dummy was causing issues for us.

Yoza- congrats on Buhle's walking, she's growing up so fast, isn't she turning 1 this month?

Good Morning ladies

Nelria thank yoi for taking time out to buy the gifts for jess. You really made it easy for us but im sure you thoroughly enjoyes the shopping i know i would. You are a star.

Jess: Im glad you had fun i can understand you joy with the goodies that Riley got.

Vix: once again you have proven how good you are with multi tasking. I agree when you say kids really mess your social life.

AFM: doing well buhle is walking but still crawls to get around. siba is becoming so adorable towards buhle yesterday i watched him throw buhle on the fall and showering her with kisses all this done gently. they will race together whilst crawling.

We went to a concert at kirstenbosch yesterday it was nice great venue and people behaved next time im taking the kids with.

Ally i am also leaving K with the dummy at the moment, as he is also off bottle and basically day time potty trained. I know how heartsore he cries at night if he cant find his dummy. Im so hoping that K adjusts as well as C did. I also just makes sure that he understands dummy is for sleep time only and he doesnt go out with it, we always leave it behind.

Oh, Vix, I still wanted to add, with the dummy-nappy thing. That's what I was scared of with my 2. Because they don't have bottles anymore AND now they're potty-training, I didn't want to take EVERYTHING away. My aunt also told me the other day that the twins have no comfort things and their dummies are the only thing like that they have left so let them have it. And honestly, they got themselves off the bottle and they are basically potty-training themselves so I'll follow their cues with the dummies too. But I'll stick firm with them not having it in public or during the day as much.

HI ladies.

Sorry I have been so scarce the last few days, been hectic this side. I'm doing a contribution towards a cookbook of another blogger so been working all weekend to sort out what exactly she wants and then I had that stupid babyshower on Saturday.

I was so upset that I couldn't be at Jess' but then thought at least this one will be ok and it wasn't. It was boring and sad. I just did the decor etc. and they only invited old ladies and there were only like 12 of us. I so wanted to be by you guys. And then C took the kids to his dad while I was there so my aunt took me all the way to JHB to go to them and all I wanted was to be at Jess' shower. C said I'm not allowed to miss another meet because I get too depressed lol. But I'm so happy Jess got spoiled, I'll be adding to the spoiling when I next see her! :)

Angie, I'm so sorry that you are going through such a rough time! I can't imagine how you must be feeling and all I can do is pray that you will get the strength you need. Hugs!!

Pfairy, honestly, I always feel sad when people I know immigrate but if I had the chance, I would go in a second. I think it would be incredibly hard for me to leave my family (especially my brothers and cousins) but if it means a better life for me and my family I would go. My dad always says his biggest regret is not moving us to the US when he had the chance. Both him and my mom got amazing job offers and he says he was too worried about family and didn't go. I also say, GO and if you hate it you can always come back. I know a few people who have come back but I know more people who absolutely LOVE their lives there and wouldn't come back for anything! My cousin and his wife are probably also leaving at the end of the year when she has finished her studies.

The photo's of the meet are too cute! :)

Thanx for all your nice comments regarding the flight. I've made peace with the fact that IF i sit next to someone else, they'll just have to deal with it, but I will apologise to them. I have this thing with stressing myself out to the point of mental breakdown and what's the use? All I can do is carry on with my healthy eating plan and exercise and hope it makes a difference. I'm feeling very positive.

Hi ladies

Jess it is a pleasure!!! Glad you got spoilt. Didn't realise your were wanting a vbac. So pleased and I will be keeping my fx that you get your wish. xx

The pics look great and it seems everyone had a fabulous time. No mommy pics as usual.

Who said Xen looks like Brett. Oh boy I thought the same when I saw that pic of him. Wow twins.

Nicole hope the driving lesson goes well.

We went away to Robertson this weekend. stayed on a wine farm. It was lovely. We took Dylan to the bird park where he enjoyed himself then to the hot springs for a great swim. The people were amazed by how well he could swim. still only about 2 meters but starting to kick more. Then we took him to the donkey sanctuary and the lady there remembers Dylan from the last time and was really sweet with him.

I will post pics on fb.

Have a great week ladies. xxx

Nelria thanks for sharing pics, the kids are absolutly stunning. Love Lea with the bubble bath :)

Mandy thanks for giving the breakdown for us :)

Pfairy you have really been offered once in a lifetime oppotunity and i tend to agree with Vix, it will be such a life altering chance but a good one!!!!! It may be difficult at first but it will be worth it im sure :)

Vix wow i dont know how you manage to do what you do!! I take my hat of to you :)

afm we had a good weekend, had lovely weather so spent it outside with K. My mom and her bf watched K for an hour on Sunday whilst i went for a driving lesson with DH, which was plesant. I have another lesson today with the driving instructer, only thing about this is it is draining me financially. So expensive, i have already spent R1000 :( But it has to be done, because once i get it i will be able to work half days and spend more time with my little man :)

K starts Kindermusiek today, im sure he is going to enjoy it throughly!
