Thanks for the nice ideas, at home i usually give K cheese wedges, salticrax, yogurt etc. Maybe i should try the jungle oats bars.

Ally of course dinner always sounds yummy. We are having the following

beef stragonoff
Sundried tomatoe and pecorino pasta with bacon, mushroom etc
saucy barbeque pork sausages with mash
Fish, chips and coleslaw

not to sure for the rest of the week.

Angie shame i can imagine on top of having the flu you are emotionally exhausted as well. ((hugs))

Hi there,

Just a quick pop in from my side!

Julz sorry to hear about your rough weekend - glad Neil is feeling better, and that you got some time to rest!

Our weekend was very emotional, and difficult for us! I have been feeling offish since Sat morning, and got up with a terrible cold/flu this morning, so not really in the mood for anything today!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!

That's unfortunately all I have strenght for today!

ladies

Just checking in.

Still a bit shell shocked after this weekend and very busy at work.

Yoza I hope siba gets sorted soon.

There are ear infections doing the rounds apparently.

No idea what is up with dylan. Fever down and he came to our bed but I didn't know about it. Neil must have put him in bed. Not too disruptive though.

Anyway I will chat later.

xxx

Nicole siba is not much of a snacker he eats quite well at home not unless were on the road so i never stress. he has his three meals and a yoghurt in between. he is still on milk. he has three bottles a day.

if he does snack he has a banana or peach. his not much of a fruit person. he loves soft fruits only. he also loves bread with peanut butter and lil bit of jam.

At school he only has yoghurt cause they struggle to feed him. it really does not bother me cause piwe fetches him and he has his lunch.

all the best my dear. as for buhle she eats anything but his favourite fruit strawberries and peaches.

Nicole I always have yoghurt, loads of fruit (banana, peaches, nectarines, grapes, watermelon, pineapple), salticrax, provitas, rice cakes, home-made biscuits and cheese in the house for snacks. Also cherry tomatoes, olives, gherkins and apples with peanutbutter are some of their favs.

Nicole Addy doesnt go to creche but I also like to have snacks for her...especially when we go to church I am armed with tupperwares!

Mini rice cakes (woolies), plain rice cakes (she loves them) or vitasnack rice crackers, cheese blocks/wedges, olives (she LOVES them as well). Fruit - paw paw pieces, bananas and grapes. Shaved chicken slices, chicken viennas, mini jungle oats bars.

Those are the kinda things I usually pack as a snack or have at home to nibble on.

Nicole, it is very quiet here today.

I've worked out our menu for this week but not sure when I'll be cooking what.

1. Vegetarian Lasagna
2. Chicken, mushroom and leek phyllo strudels
3. Chicken cottage pie with 2-potato mash topping
4. Salmon Carbonara

Not sure which to have tonight. Maybe the cottage pie...and then I also want to bake oat-raisin cookies this week. Need to cook and bake a lot in the next few weeks coz I want to have a few recipes on stand-by for incase I don't get to cook/bake when I'm away.

I might be going to Cape Town for a few days in March as well. The food editor Abigail Donelly tweeted me to say that she'd love to have me on set with her one day so I really want to make an effort to go and get that experience. Will also be nice to say I assisted on a Woolies TASTE shoot! :) :) :)
