hi ladies, will go catch up prior to this page just now but wanted to say hi before i get too busy again.

Simone- we had C done at birth, healing was quick and pretty painless besides the same day of the op. they cry a whole lot less as a newborn. the tweenies were too small so we'll get them done after 1 year and I'm dreading it now that they're big! but we will have it done just because it's what we preffered to choose, no stupid reason like it's cleaner or hiv protection, just because we wanted to have it done. I had an incident with a guy when we were young and his foreskin ripped during the act and let me tell you it bleeds A LOT, gross and he was so embarrassed lol

yes the party was a huge success and we are still trying to recover from it lol will post pics when i find the time to upload from my camera.

wow ladies...for some reason i thought all the boys here were circumcised! G will also decide. He isnt (sorry if TMI) and I dont know any differently...G has never had problems with his penis as far as I know...lol. My friend told me...let your son be what his dad is, but if dad feels differently, let him make the decision. But thanks for your replies. Ally luckily when we said goodbye to bottle it meant no substitute at night either...so it was the end of any bottles for us. She moved straight to cup/glass for day use, nothing at night. What are you doing with 26kgs of beef by the way??

Addison really just was ready when she was ready. Ended day nappies between October and December last year. Bottles out at beginning December. NIght time nappies ended beginning January....with I think 3 night time accidents as the collateral damage? And I was also worried thinking...all this in a space of 3 months?? Its too much for her...but she was tougher than I gave her credit for:) Under no illusions though that number 2 will be as easy!! Though I live in hope!

Nicole the kids know what they can get away with where...so the fact he doesnt use it at school shows he is obviously ready to leave it, but he's probably just used to having it at home. I agree...wait until December when you can be consistent with keeping it away!

All this talk of nappies....bought nappies for the last time in October last year....starting to freak out about the costs I now need to incur again for nappies! lol. Strongly considering going cloth nappy route though, just need to decide on a brand for now.
