Shame Simone. That is one thing I am thankful for and that is a child that will swallow any medicine. He loves it. Hope she is okay now.

Nicole glad K is okay. Wonder where the blood was from?? Sounds like he had a nice weekend...and nice early bday pressie:)

Julz...wow those sound like hectic drugs my friend! Praying all these things can just give you a break for a while:(

Lisha...very proud of Shreyan! He really is doing great in such a short span of time.

Seems like Addison turned 3 and now I notice what a big girl she is. She says things like: I think mummy is UPSET with you. or Dont shout AT me/daddy! (I used for years say...dont shout me...which is not gramatically correct). She refers to herself as 'taller' when she stands on something and not 'bigger'. She really is such a big girl now...*sigh*. Thankfully new baby on the way...but at this rate I'll have to pop one out every 3yrs so I dont feel so sad about my kids growing up.lol.

The fever i think is BROKEN!!! So happy. Just such a battle with the meds. My brother wrapped her in towel, G kept mouth closed with small gap for syringe, I closed nose...she begged me to leave her nose...Oh my word I just sobbed. She spat at least half of it out. I put the meds in milkshake, coke, yoghurt, on a spoon, begged, threatened, cried, pretended to throw birthday gifts and fave pillow away, showed pics of kids in hospital (she nicely saw a pic of child with mom and said: Oh she's back with her mommy now! So much for me painting lonely pic of child alone in dark hospital!!)...SHE REFUSED! The meds dont even taste yucky apparently.

G tricked her by mixing it with ponstel this morning...she got about 2mls in and tasted it and refused. *sigh*

I am waiting for friend to send me pics...these are the only ones I took:( Will post as soon as I get them.

New mommies how are you doing? Hope the babies and their older siblings are being good to you.

Julz glad the neuro appointment went well. Hope the new meds do have a major impact and you feel 100% soonest.
Did you go to Kings of Leon? If so how was it? Sorry not sure if you did mention it previously.

Mandy is Cam all settled in his sleep routine again now?

Shrey is doing well. Had a tiring day yesterday at his little friends birthday party so was exhautsed and went to bed early.
He is only on night time diapers now but still wakes up with it completely dry & asks to go to loo as soon as he's ready, so we're really just wasting a diaper a night. Yesterday he refused to put on the diaper before we left for the party and told me every time he needed to pee.

With me like I said work is hectic ... been a busy few weeks but will hopefully calm down soon.

Went out for dinner and drinks with some friends on Saturday night, we had a nice time. When we got home Shrey was still soundly asleep so didn't even know we were out.

Mandy the halloween party sounded amazing. So nice to live in a residential complex.

Nicole that must have been scary. Maybe just from his nose? Hope so!

Neuro went well. Headaches are under control now which is good. Tremor has not improved and the hallucintions are more part of my night terror sleep disorder. I have now been put onto really hectic seizure drugs to try to stop the tremor and they will help with the night terrors. The knock me out but which is actually great.

We had a very busy weekend. Dylan had his first swimming lesson for the summer on Sat morning. He bitched alot but got in the pool with D easily which was nice. Then we had to go to a halloween party with some of the other moms from the forum. It was quiet and enjoyable. Dylan went as a scarecrow and me as a sock monster. Then we went to another party on Saturday night. Our friends throw a spectacular bash each year for halloween. Got dressed as the living dead. Dylan was fine with the scary stuff, but was scared of the bunny rabbit. ??? he went to sleep at the party holding a gun. Very funny.

Simone ag no man, shame poor Addy to be sick on her birthday party - at least she still had a great time. I cant wait to see the pics!!!!! Im sure you must have been exhausted though sat night? How is Addy doing today?

afm, we had a really great weekend, saturday we did grocery shopping and them my mom and her BF came for a visit and the BF gave K his birthday present early which is a proper bike with the training wheels that you can eventually remove - K was so impressed and spent basically all weekend on it. Sunday we went to the lion park to go see the 6 week old lion cubs - had a great time and then off we went to see my little cousin for his birthday. The rest of our sunday was spent relaxing together.

We got such a fright on Friday, the creche phoned us after K's nap and said that they noticed blood where his mouth was positioned on the materess and because he was coughing so much during sleep time they think he coughed it up, so we rushed off to fetch him and took him to the Doc. who said that K looked in perfect health, no inflammation/infections/traces of dry blood in mouth/throat/nose/ears, so we had to just keep a good eye on him all weekend and we had no trouble at all? Maybe he bit his tongue/mouth whilst sleeping?? But he is his normal 100% self.

Julz update from neuro appointment?

Mandy sounds wow! Shame @ Cam being scared though.

Okay so party update...my child has been running fever since Wednesday. We hit 40 degrees during party. Put her in cool bath and dosed her...then she was 100% again and had a great time at party. I was stressed though checking her temp every few minutes. Last night down again, this morning up! Off we went to casualty and low and behold...poor child has tonsilitis. Feel like the WORST mom in the world! Doc told me she seemed fine...temp was 36.5 at hospital...jumping on bed...so she didn't even look sick. But still felt crappy:(

Sorry that was Addy update. Party was STUNNING! Everybody raved and gave so many compliments. We just had rain all morning so that stressed me out..(Hey called 3 times to ask if they must deliver jumping castle! Eventually 15 min before party I took leap of faith and said yes! And the sun came out and it was a lovely day:) food, cakes...everything was just great. I was really happy with how it turned out. Also I got many compliments on how 'thin' I'm looking and small I'm carrying:)

G was working though and my mom out of town...so asked mil to come help. The wench comes and tells me somebody just asked her to go to a funeral with them??? Wtf!!! A funeral she didn't plan to go to! Came to party 2hrs late and headed straight to cupcakes!!!
