o.k sorry, he's watching a movie now so back to you girls.......

Yesterday he wanted a movie on so he opend the glass door to the TV cabinet but he was stood on the wrong side of it so in moving around to the inside he pushed the glass door too far open and the sheet of glass snapped, Elwyn was next to him and luckily picked him up as fast as he could before C stood up. The glass shattered everywhere, it was even as far as 2m accross the room. Luckily Jonathan was sitting in the bouncy chair but facing away from the glass or he might have had an eye full too. Elwyn saw blood and tons of it so he ran off to the loo with C to clean up and find out how big the cut was but thankfully it's just a tiny nic in between his thumb and index finger but it caught the vein hence all the blood.

Then When Elwyn went to lock the sliding door last night he noticed C had broken the lock but thankfully we have a trelli-door so we could still lock up last night.

Now he's broken the dog's hair brush........what's next i have to ask myself...........

Today he has started being.......lets call it 'heavy handed' with the tweenies, i think because he doesn't have Daddy for attention so now he's back to pushing their heads and 'accidentally' hitting them. grrrrrrrrrrrrr I'm just sending him to his room every time until he apologises, once i had to send him 5 times before he found the balls to say "sorry furferfan" (that's sorry Jonathan)

HA HA HA thank goodness I'm not alone!! I thought maybe Bryce was just being naughty but it seems to be normal - I swear sometimes that child is at his happiest when he can throw something around the house!

Glad to know not only my child is destroying things in the house! lol

Vix its lovely to bf or give bm if you can, but realistically you have your hands full. No helper yet, plus a toddler that is also going through the normal phase of a 2yr old AND the fact that he isnt an only child anymore....plus the twins.....so if the expressing is not going to work out, call it quits. 6w is good enough!

Its quiet in here today...

Julz have you gotten an appointment yet?

Lelani waar is jy so skaars?

Simone- if the shower curtain is too much just fold it up to make a panel to cover the mattress from her chest downwards, it'll give her chest and head space to breathe without sweating at least.

So this is my first full day home alone and it's going well except i have realized that expressing is just not going to work. It's impossible to sit and express (which takes me 40min every 4hrs by the way) and be the only one to attend to the kids. I had to stop and re start a total of 6 times, i was supposed to express at 8am and only got to it at 10am, then the second time i got up to see to Alex i came back to find the bottle had tipped (not sure if it was an accident or if it was C) and 100ml of my hard earned milk was all over the floor (i only manage an average of 200ml) I haven't spoken to Elwyn but i think I've already decided to call it quits with the BM.

I'm not too sad, i know to get to 6w as it is has been quite a feat with the twins anyways so I'm proud of achieving that. I have realized that yes i wanted to do everything 'right' the second time around but that dream was half dashed on the news that we were expecting twins so I can't beat myself up about every little thing.

Now Elwyn is back at work C is looking for attention from me and to sit and express for 40min of the 1.5hrs we get between sorting the babies is not really fair to him, he stood in front of me the whole time with tears in his eyes asking me to finish and put it down.

o.k gotta go sorry, C is asking me to come play..................

will be back with more stories later, yesterday C broke the glass TV cabinet door and the lock for the sliding door so we had fun!

Vix I know the fact that she hasnt had an accident in 8 nights is a fluke...lol. So I was expecting it, but not because we hadnt let her wee for over 5hrs before bedtime. I guess she didnt have an urgent wee then seeing as she didnt ask to go.

The only reason I think she is dry at night...is cause she doesnt drink a bottle anymore...so she literally sips through about 250ml - 500mls of liquid during the day which isnt that much. Maybe some tea, milkshake, water, juice and a sip of cooldrink here or there.

Thanks for the tip on the drymac. We're using a shower curtain at the moment...lol. But I'm worried its making her too hot at night so she sweats.

How are the tweenies doing?

Morning ladies,

Julz- any luck getting an appointment?c Thinking of you all the time. I'm pleased you had a better night's sleep. Xxxxx

Simone- ooops on the wee but to be fair I think you can probably still expect the odd accident. Maybe you should put a waterproof down on the mattress. If you have a fabric shop near by you should be able to pick up a meter of drymac or something similar for R20/30

Nicole- even when K isn't eating well he's eating better than C. My boy has more off days than on but my Paed says it's normal at the age of 2 that they don't eat if they're not hungry unless it's something 'nice' then they'll eat themselves sick. He said that when he gets hungry he will find a way to tell me.

Helen- You can give 5ml Lacson (same as duphalac but cheaper) syrup each day to help Nina pass a stool, just give it every day for a little while whilst her body adjusts to the new formula. Try not to change back and forth from formula to formula because that is what causes the constipation, it would've happend whichever formula you tried. Try the lacson for a week then start cutting down the dose to 2.5ml then 1ml until you can stop it and she poos regulally by herself. It just keeps the poo moist so it's not a laxative which forces you to poo. I am sure Oliver is fine he's just taking his time to speak same as C. But it's probably wise to get his ears checked out because infections can cause delayed speech.

C doesn't speak properly at all, he says single words mainly but I have noticed suddenly since the twins arrived he's speaking more and I think he's just trying to interact on the same level as us.

Ally- sorry your holliday is coming to an end, but I'm sure you actually need to get back to your crazy hectic blogging more than you think. Xxx

Lisha- pleased you like the new wheels! Bigger car = time for bigger family? I hope your SIL's wedding is a little less hectic so you can actually just sit back and enjoy it.

1L of water??? Wow that is great!

I am banning cooldrink in the house from today because Addison broke our fridge now in her attempts to get cooldrink herself. she pushed the door too far back and now its broken...we have to lift the door to close it:-( This is a fridge that was 2yrs old a week ago and cost us R5000 on sale:-( I am heartbroken. No idea how much it'll cost to repair.

We;ve told her the fridge will fall on her head if she tries to open it again and so far so good!
