Helen that sounds terrible with the constipation issues:-( All the kids that suffer from it...it really sounds horrible! I remember how C used to battle back in the day as well. So glad its better now Vix! Helen I hope the paed will be able to recommend something.

Lisha and how was your weekend? Yes it is sadly easier to give in....but I feel so bad cause Cynthia has literally been off for a month so she has no idea about this new diva Addison! Good luck to her!

Nicole how did the drop off go?

I was very annoyed this morning...I dont usually feel Addison's nightie, but after she woke up she came to sit by us so I thought let me feel and lo and behold she was soaked! So i check the bed and she had a HUGE WEE! The duvet cover and inner...heck even her pillow was wet.

now last night Vannah and I went to buy food...so G was playing with Addison and when I got home he had put her in the shower and then she went to bed. Now I was gone for about 1.5hrs...I didnt think that I had to ask if he took her to wee before bed? And surprise surprise...he didnt! The last time the child went to the loo was yesterday afternoon at freakin 2PM AT CATTLE BARON!!!! It's so unneccesary!

Gerard is the best dad...a better mother than I am...but there are just some things that a man cant do! He never remembers to give her meds or vitamins...never remembers to brush her teeth...and now I'll add...slips his mind to take her to the loo before bed!

AFM we had a nice but tiring weekend AGAIN!!! Saturday my other sil's future il's came over to mil's place to have first official meeting. DH & I are a bit tired of all this il stuff now Their wedding should be toward the end of this year but she's going to have christian wedding so maybe less effort for us than for hindu weddings fx.
Also got our new wheels on Friday, very nice but I kind of miss our old car but love the space in this one. Shrey is being very possessive with it ... refused to let the in laws touch or sit in it but anyone else was welcome. And on the way to mil's yesterday he was moaning that he doesn't want to go there and when we got there he didn't want to go inside lol.
He's been sleeping crappy in the mornings, not sure what is up with him. He'll go to bed nicely and wakes up around 3 and jumps into bed with us and then tosses and turns the whole time. He eventually falls asleep and wakes up late but on the weekdays that doesn't work out the best for us.
Oh and now we're finally seeing the difficulty of Shrey sucking his thumb. He usually sucks his left thumb but the top layer of skin is peeling on one small spot so it's frustrating him. He is switching to the other thumb but not quiet the same I see. Tried putting a plaster over to stop him from sucking it but he just dug at it till it came of completely. Well will leave him to figure it out himself.

Anyway back to work for me ... tons to do that my child didn't let me finish yesterday!!!

Zamzie congrats again. Can't wait to see pics of the little guy.

Helen Nina is doing so well Shrey definitely didn't pick up weight as fast and is still a skinny child. Hope she's settled again into her routine.

Yoza how are your 2? Do they fight yet?

CT ladies & Nelria glad you guys had a lovely meet. The kids are all gorgeous and so grown up. I see Dylan has been stealing kisses from Lea ... too bloody adorable.

Zee we've also been giving in to Shrey's demands too fast because it's easier to do that than deal with the tantrum.
Now that we just ignore him he gets over it and moves on, sometimes not so easily though. I do find he's at his worst when he's tired.

Simone sounds like you had a fab day out yesterday. I am so jealous that you got rid of nappies now, was especially painful when I had to buy another pack yesterday lol. Whenever we see the old Huggies Gold we buy it ... more expensive than the new one's but hey a better diaper is worth it lol.

Helen shame man I do hope Nina doesn't get chronic constipation. Good luck with dealing with both now that Theo is back at work. Has your mum gone back home already?

Hi everyone!

I've taken the day off on Friday - there is no way in hell I'm spending my 30th birthday at work!!! NO NO NO!! But as everyone is flat broke in January my folks are arranging a get-together for me on the weekend of the 29th to celebrate...... So that saturday is going to be busy - we've got our meet the morning & I have a b-day party (of sorts) the saturday afternoon - not going overboard just a few family & close friends to have a braai with & talk rubbish for a few hours! LOL

From my side there isn't really anything new.... pregnancy progressing as normal - just the peeing is getting annoying now especially the middle of the night ones are driving me nuts!!!

And I still haven't started packing my hospital bag!! LOL In fact I haven't got anything to pack in it yet either!!! WOW I'm very unorganised this time!!!

Helen, I really think you're supermom! You sound so upbeat and refreshed every time you talk to us. Wow Nina is a big girl! I think it's nice that you have big kids. They're going to be tall and gorgeous like you!

Vix, I also used the bennetts for the twins but only once or twice. It really does work! It knocked them out completely but I was judged so much when I used it so I don't often recommend it because people don't seem to like it.

I'm so sad that I won't be able to make the meet. I tied myself down to this other babyshower in November already without knowing the date.

So tomorrow is our last day of holiday, although, it's like the holiday is over already. We're both on our phones constantly replying to e-mails etc. But I'm not answering my phone unless it's someone I know. I told everyone I'd be back on the 17th so they must leave me alone!

Took the kids to the beach for the last time yesterday because today the maid is here and we have to sort out the house before we leave. We have to cover all the couches and tv with sheets for the dust etc. Need to put Sunlight soap in all the cupboards for the mould....etc. etc. etc. Then I need to empty the freezer and the food cupboard for incase the power goes off.

C's still deciding if he wants to leave at 20h00 or 01h00 on wednesday morning. I'd actually love to leave at 20h00 and just have the kids sleep for a whole 12 hours of the drive but it depends on C. If he can't stay awake it's not worth it.

Ok, let me go make our last 'big breakfast' of the holiday! So sad that it's over but man was it a good one!!
