Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

Thanks ladies for putting my mind at ease. Simone he drinks about a litre of water a day and then 200mls of milk. At home now with K, when we picked him up he was finishing lunch, he seemed ok but was so happy when he saw us. He cried for 30 min apparently. So hope tomorrow is better.

Do any other kids eat cereal and then something else like K does? I find that after cereal...about an hour later Addison is peckish and will eat a piece of bread or a yoghurt, etc. I thought maybe she was being greedy! lol

Nicole does he drink anything?

Nicole I do think he is eating enough to sustain himself. I am always told...no child will starve themselves...if they are hungry they will eat!

If Addy doesnt wanna eat we just wait and she'll come and ask for egg, cheese, bread WITH butter, yoghurt, noonoos (noodles)etc. (she's very specific about what she wants to eat.lol)

So if K is hungry, he will come and ask for food. Alternatively if you are concerned...why not offer him porridge or toast and cheese for supper?

Lisha we are lucky in that whether Addison eats or doesnt eat....she still sleeps through since being off bottle. (probably going to jinx that right there!)

She is losing weight though...her spine and back bones are very noticeable and her ribs...but she's not sickly thin so I figure just an adjustment from stopping the night time drinking until she improves on her eating supper at night.

Hope you get some meds to sort your stomach out:-(

Nicole sounds like K is eating enough but I know I stress the most when Shrey refuses supper ... more fear of a bad night.
Shame hope K settles in soon.

Jessica I agree with the others - the kids will give up diapers when they are ready to. Shrey is the oldest in this group but possibly showing the least signs of wanting to be out of diaper.

Simone ag man, well sure G will not forget about toilet again lol. However he can be forgiven because he makes up with all the other wonderful stuff.

Julz wishing this day away for you. Hope the pain is bearable in the meantime.

Nicole congrats on the house. Hope the transfer happens speedily so that you guys can settle down.

So I'm going home shortly. Had an upset tummy since this morning and was hoping it stops on it's own but no luck ... 4 times so far YUCK. Not sure if bug or not.

Enjoy the day ladies. I'll definitely be back at work tomorrow, can't even afford this time off but I have no choice

Nicole as far as toddlers got that is actually quite alot so please don't stress.

Jessica i am with the other ladies, pressurising him may lead him to stop wanting to do it all together, shame man i hope he is able to get back into the whole routine.

Lol Simone Addy sounds to sweet. K just wants to run kalgat the whole time, he he.

okay so apparently K is okay, just very quite and into himself. so i though my plan of action would be today to fetch him at 12:00, tomorrow at 13:00 and then wednesday i will let him have full day which is until 16:15, this is what i did when he initially started going to creche and it worked well.

okay ladies so K is still not eating very well. during the holiday he daily eating routine would be as follows

07:30 cereal

09:00 toast with cheese

11:00 fruit

13:30 toasted sarmie and yogurt

15:00 savoury biscuits

when i would try feed him supper at 18:00 he would refuse to eat it no matter what it was i tried everything!! last week he only ate supper twice!!!! ?? so im putting him onto zinplex along with his creche guard to get extra vitamins, he loves to eat toast with cheese, his cereal and fruit these days - thats it????

Lisha i am glad you are enjoying the new ride!! lol Shrey being possesive over the car.
