HI ladies

Simone too cute littel addy calling daddy Gerard!

Julz and Simone - you know I am easy so I can fetch Julz or meet at the airport or anyother place around there if Julz would rather not leave - a coffee and a quick chat will be great!

Sorry Christopher is battling! You know I am battling with Camerons aggression and so Ive seen Cameron do that to younger kids and its flippen scarey! cant be nice seeing him do it to your own NEWBORN!! One thing I can suggest is TRY not to FREAAKKK out at him, just move his hand away and distract him, if he sees you reacting or shouting it WILL make him do it more. Its much harder NOT to react and Im still not managing but it does work better Ive seen it!

Wow Julz - im waiting for the day that happens to me ( drawing blood I mean! ) Im sorry dylan hurt you!! shame man

Lelani poor little jack!

Lisha - so pleased things are working out for your mom! You should be very proud to have taken her into your home! it takes a very very strong relationship on your part and I admire you for it! Im sure MOST parents wish to move in with their kids when they get on a bit!

Nicole - glad you and hubby had a good laugh together, its so good for the soul!

VIx - i also dont see the point of a paed later on, but with niggly babies and newborn issues - my paed was soooo insightful and i think he actually helped me cope! VERY pleasead you are going onto the eglonyl and have you got the berry elixir as well?

Helen how is oliver with Nina at the mo?

You know, its strange that I dreamt something last night that is helping me change my situation...

In the DREAM: my husband walked up to me and said he wasnt happy in our marriage and that he wasnt prepared to work on it. He put a letter in my hand of all the things he didnt like and told me he was leaving!

IN reality I started to think about things and I think that in that letter were things that I dont think are good in our marriage... mostly about myself but things that I know want to look at. ONe thing clear to me is that I really do LOVE my husband, to pieces and I never want to imagine my life without him, but there is quite a lot that I think is causing me to not be totally happy and its up to me to make the changes in me and then discuss these things without making him feel like I want to leave! I think I have been so focused on Cameron and the changes in our lives and looking outwardly for new friends with babies, and just generally coping, that I havent had high expectations for my relationship. I havent said the hard things, Ive let things slide and ignored the niggly voice inside my head saying that my life is not the way it could be. Im loosing my passion and excitement. and Im worried that what has replaced the passionate happy me is expecting Cameron to make me smile, entertain me and keep my husband and i busy and interested !! and that cant be good~! anyway, I think these are good realisations and Im looking forward to finding ways for us to reconnect..

okay - this was all way too serious for a thursday ! but love that I have a place to share this!

Chat soon gals, have a good day!

Vix I think I have an hour max and I will have to stay at the airport as I am still looking after donors until we land in Ct! See how things go first and if you can that would be awesome.

As far as C goes this is quite normal vix. I agree 2 is a very tricky age for sure but nothing you can do about that.

I am not sure if you have time to google it but here is a link that may help you a bit.

Oh and Dylan bit me this morning and it was so hard that it drew blood on my chest. I was so cross I gave him a good hiding. Not sore but he was so shocked as I don't smack him much that he cried proper tears. I hate upsetting him like that but I was so annoyed.

Simone- the pead says 1.8/1.9 I think he's busy sussing me out to see if i will be able to fatten him up quicker at home or not LOL but at least he won't make me wait to 2kg which is great. I think also because he is a healthy strong baby the Pead is happy for a lighter weight on discharge. The only promblem Jonathan has had are things generally associated with prematurity, although i was nearly 35w at the birth remember Jonathan was only measuring the size of a 31w baby so he had to have his eyes and ears tested because he was so small they were not fully developed at birth but that was all 100%, the hole in the heart is called a PDA i think, that is just a valve that should shut off at birth but in premmies it takes a bit longer but it's now closed. The Jaundice again is because he was so small otherwise he never had breathing problems, just weight issues which were solving super fast by the look of it. I must say i can be pretty straight forward with this Pead and ask him when and why/why not and he will be honest. But he is very impressed with Jonathan's development.

o.k baby back to sleep, was just moaning. I will say this, with C i used to pick him up and the fist whimper, this time I'm only picking up if it has been over 3hrs or he is really crying and it is working fairly well for now although we all know hoe bliss full the 1st 3 weeks are. But for now it's about getting him into a routine so i feed, burp and lay in cot. My mum wanted to hold him all the time and my rule was as soon as his eyes get heavy he lays down.

I have a fantastic Pead, he is also a Brit but an older guy but has a great sense of humor. The Nurses were hassling me to wake Alex for feeds and he still said to me yes Alex needs a lot of regular feeds but don't wake him if you don't have to, if he wakes after 4hrs go with the flow. I'm going to book an appointment for C when i take Alex for his 2 week check up next week, i just want to get his opinion on C's constipation and have a good check over, he hasn't seen a pead since 6m because i don't believe in them so much but this one has taken my liking and i will try him out.

C is hurting Alexander. I have not once left them alone together, he's doing right in front of my face................... he will softly stroke then super quick he grabs his ankle and twists it outwards or squeezes his head or smacks him. I'm sure he's going to do damage if it doesn't stop soon. He is so jealous and it's not like the baby is getting more attention because he is being fed then sleeping for 4-5hrs at a time. Wow this whole second child thing needs to be done early or late but 2 years is definitely not the right age gap.

o.k so i managed to convince DH into getting C the 1.2m trampoline and a small splash pool so we might go get that this afternoon.

Simone- Sorry to hear AF reared her ugly head this month, it's a horrible feeling hey? soon though, especially f they get your thyroid under control.

Nicole- that is terrible about the creche, I'm pleased you complained.

oh yeah, weighed my self on Tuesday and I am officially 4kg under pre pregnancy weight LOL I lost 8kg with the birth and in the first week. BUT.........................someone stole my butt! I have no butt left, it's flat completely gone, it's like they sucked it out with the blood and placenta LOL gutted! need to get toning what is left so it can take the shape of an ass again. And it was the ONLY thing that DH used to get excited about, my butt!

Julz- I'm up for 21st depending what happens with Jonathan so will make preliminary plans, just let us know where you're staying (at the airport i presume?) We can even just take a nice coffee date at the airport or I can come collect you and we can meet Mandy somewhere.

Hi ladies

Vix I am o chuffed for you my friend and glad your mom is gone now!!! You can now have family time. I would send you milk as I still have but you are so flipping far away!!!! Too far away.

Nicole I would have been P&^*ed too. Glad you waited for the teacher and gave them a peace of your mind!!

Lelani thanks for the updates and i hope Jack is okay. You have the most adorable jack russels ever!!!!Neil said we can't get one as Lelani has the only two relaxed ones on earth!

Lisha hope you feel better and I hope the whole B thing is okay.

ally your holiday sounds amazing. It has been like years since Neil and I went away for 3 weeks. I think this year we have to make a plan to get away for a while.

Okay so Paed is happy. Dylan just has some upper airway muck and so we have been given celestamine for 3 days and a cough mixture for a couple days. He should be fine. Lump is fine and he is meeting all his milestones. Paed not too keen on dummy but we will tackle it as soon as I get back. He also said to reduce milk. Dylan has 600ml. He is happy with his growth and says at age 2 you can basically double his height which gives an indication of his adult height so not too tall.

Oh and swimming lesson went so well yesterday. NOOOOO moaning at all. Only smiles and he loves it!!! I could see the teacher was enjoying it too.
