Vix so relieved to hear that both babies are doing well. Glad you're getting such good treatment from your gynae and that the nurses are fulfilling your wishes. We can't wait to hear that the twins are here.
Nice idea for you to get some rest at home while babies are in NICU but don't push for discharge too early, make sure your body is ready because it's been through so much the last few months.

Has taken me forever to load this page, the reception here on the BB isn't the best.

Apparently Dr only has 2 people on his list this afternoon and he'll start anytime from 3 so by dinner time already the babies could be here. Most of you who's cell phone numbers I had before the last week are on the baby city sms list so I'd appreciate anyone who can get here to post birth news to do so for me as I will obviously be busy in recovery for a while and worrying about my babies.

O.k so I have officially booked in for the C-sec so they fill out medical info, blood group, allergies etc. I put a gown on, they checked I'm shaven enough. Then they put in drip and they wanted to put in catheter but I said no only after the spinal has been done because last time Dr was ruuning 4 hrs late and I refuse to be bed bound for so long when heavily pregnant. If you're in a private hospital you are quite within your rights to ask them to wait til after the spinal. Besides then you don't feel it go in.

So now I just sit and wait to be called in after 3 sometime.

Elwyn is on his way back to the hospital now because he wanted to feed the dogs and rturn lights on so he can just stay here now. I asked him for extra pillows, shit hospital beds are crap! If both babies stay in NICU (which I think they both will) then I'll ask to go home early so I can at least let my body recover in a good bed whilst C is still at grandmas house.

The CTG is picking up 2 good clear heartbeats constantly so everyone is happy. I have hectic period type pains which I'm thinking are either from the steroids or my body was getting ready to kick these babies out early anyways.

I am craving chocolate, I think I will get Elwyn to stock me up for after the birth, gonna need my sugar fix by then!

I'm so pleased I didn't get the catheter yet because the period type pains are only relieved when I stand up and walk around.

Ally- Very excited to hear your news but it sounds soooooo great! Will check party pics when I get a better reception, this is driving me mad!
