Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

Guys I feel so emotional now just because my babies are doing sooooooo well! Alex is even going to come to me for a feed after he's been in the incubater for an hour or so!

Alex is 2.2kg born @ 17:35 Jono is 1.66kg born @ 17:36 Alex is in the nursery and Jono ICU but not for lungs or weight, simply for low glucose count. I feel drunk from the drugs but otherwise doing really well.

Pead says Alex can likely come home with me on Friday and Jono will stay till he's about 1.8kg because he's breathing really well and and the pead is over the moon.

Dr Lingham just came to see me and he is thrilled! He says it was the best decision he ever made to take them out today because they are really going to be as strong as anything. 600g is a huge difference at this stage but he took them out just in time before Jono's healrth became compromised. I have also never seen him get emotional but when he came to see me he was quivering at the lip and had to leave quickly. I actually feel so bloody thrilled to bits! Way more excited than when C was born.
