Ally I would really recommend a dietician. I dont know how similar we are...but I LOVE food! And drinking a shake just would not work for me...I would feel deprived and that's where things start going downhill. Now i work with my allocations...and its really not bad. You can still have lovely food. You are experimenting in terms of low fat cooking...there's so much potential especially if you are researching recipes to use everyday for meals, Snacks, breakfasts, etc. Woolies does slimmer's choice meals for around 300 calories...check them out and how to make a similar, maybe tastier version (the chicken/mushroom risotto is divine!)
There's a blog on letterdash called: Less-of-Me . not sure if you've ever seen it, but that woman did weigh less and she lost 31-33 kgs....you must see her before and after pics on her blog...flip..ANYBODY wanting motivation..go check it out! Weigh less works on similar principles to a dietician, just alot more veg and fruit included I think.
Yoza sounds like your kiddies are really doing well;-)
