Does anybody know if all baby monitor systems with breathing pads are equals?? I bought the Edgars brand and wanted to know if I'm better off spending the extra R500 on angel care, or would it do the same job?

Julz...I think the kids are going through a phase. Addison is VERY stubborn! She doesnt even budge when getting a hiding...I cant believe the audacity some days of her stubborness, but it isnt every day and it doesnt last for very long luckily. Especially when tired though...I find her to be the most grumpy some times.

Everybody...thanks for asking, I am feeling better today. I was saying to Lisha its not that I am not looking for the positive stories....but I do believe knowledge is power as Helen says. I was/am picking Addison up, carrying her, when my sonographer said to me to please not lift heavy objects. I thought maybe she is being unecessary, but after reading stories I realise i"m better off not taking chances. That is just one example. I thought its something common and nothing to worry about, BUT in a worst case scenario it can be quite scary.

Anyways, took car for test drive and it drives beautifully:) Just we have a friend at Gm and he says that the car is overpriced so we need to negotiate with dealer and also he has colleagues looking to sell their 2010 models (they buy on staff discount and keep car for a year then get latest model) so we may get lucky and get much cheaper. So we'll see what happens. Disappointed though cause I wanted my new car asap! lol. But let us rather not be hasty...as that is how I bought my Polo brand new....on a residual, so much was wrong with car, they registered it in wrong year which badly affects my trade in value, etc. so dont wanna burn my hands again like that because I didnt know better!

Julz - i understand your frustrations A 100%!! K has also become so moany and will cry if i shout at him for doing something even though i have asked nicely 20 times before that, he will cry for something instead of just asking me, tantrums are back again after being away for a few months!! I dont know what is up, but man it is tiring/frustrating/exhausting. I hope D feels better soon and that us mommies can come up with a solution before it drives us all insane. Are you back in India next week?

afm, we all alright - im very excited for a night away on Sat as hubby has planned all these romantic things - cocktails on our balcony which faces the beach, walk on the beach, supper at the hotel etc, but i am also so nervous leaving K behind because the last time somebody has babysat him was about 10 months ago!!!!! He is so ma-vas, i hope he will be alright with my mom. Ladies that get babysitters (family or babysitters) how do your kids handle you being away for a night/evening?.

Simone, 1 kg is really not that bad..especially so far along in your pregnancy. Glad that G told you you are being silly. But I know how it is for "fuller figured models" like ourselves when the scale goes up!!!

Boss is back today so have to be busy though this nice cool weather in Cape Town is making me all sleepy.

Julz, well Cole has always been a nagging baby so I have no advise for you but I hope that Dylan gets better soon.
