Hi ladies,
Had to go to the doc on Saturday as I lost my voice last week and my chest was starting to feel really tight. I was going to leave it but Theo ordered me to the doc (we're broke so I didn't want to spend the money), good job he did as I've been suffering with blocked sinuses and a post nasal drip for a couple of months but I've been trying to ignore it. Anyway, turns out my body wasn't doing a very good job at fighting off the infection and its spread from my sinus down to my voice box and into my chest and was early bronchitis...whoops. I'd been feeling fine in myself just a bit tired so I hadn't wanted to go to the doc (my mum's been nagging me to go to the doc for months) but the he told me if I'd left it til Monday I would've been in trouble. Anyways, got some strong antibiotics and my chest is starting to feel looser so I'm getting more sleep which is great.
Will try do a proper reply later (as always lol, work is so busy so I just can't find the time these days).
Anyways, I'm just popping in to ask for some advice from all the mummies who's LOs are in creche. It's one of the boys at playgroup's birthday on Friday so Oliver has been given an invite for a party at the playgroup from 10-12pm (he doesn't usually go on Fridays). What is the etiquette, am I supposed to send a gift for this LB or do I just send Oliver to join in the party?
Thanks!!
