Lisham Cole is eating but he does not look like he is picking up any weight. I don't want to put him on the scale just yet and jinx things.

AFU, we are all well. Had my cousin's wedding on saturday and it was really nice. Cole is now into.......wait for it....MY LITTLE PONY! He had kidnapped Nikola's plastic pony and last night he slept with the fluffy one and he took it with him to daycare this morning.... It's a very funny thing and now everyone in the shops thinks he is a little girly because of his curly afro and his "girly toy" that he walks around with.

So yes I am still here. Went to the midwife this morning and our LG is still snugg and will be for another week or so.
All is fine with us, BP is still doign great and my feet are not to swelled.
She did say that if i want our LG to come then I must go for some Reflexology (spelling), but I think I will skip that this week and finish work.
One of the guys in the office have studdie reflexology and will do some on Friday, so that is a good day

afm, had a lovely weekend, when we fetched K on Friday, we fetched him a bit early than usual and his teacher said that they had arranged that 'Barney" come see the kids, so we waited around, the expression on K's face when he saw Barney walk out the door was priceless, he just had his mouth hanging open lol, but then he cried the WHOLE way home asking where his big barney is lol. We had a nice chilled weekend, yesterday we took K to a playpark and we had milkshakes there and then we took him to the Pioneer nusery where they have fish,bunnies and birds and we let him around there, after that we went and bought water guns and ran around the yard squirting each other, DH thought he would be very funny and turned on the hosepipe when i wasnt looking and sprayed me until i was drenched lol, i dont know what the neighbours thought of us lol.

Anyway ladies, i hope you all have a super monday (if that is even possible lol)

Hi girls.

Thanks for all the messages. The funeral was lovely. I broke down a bit when my dad did the thank you's. At the end of the speech he said "Give Nellie (my mom) a hug from all of us" and ALL of us burst into tears. What made it worse was that he never ever cries and he was SO emotional. But it was good for all of us to just get all of it out and everyone is doing much better now.

Ankie, WOW...really only a few more sleeps! Very exciting!

Zee, I have no advice regarding Ziani but I've heard it's a good idea to get her a present when her brother is born and then say it's from him? Good luck with the last few weeks!

Julz, how was the concert? Super cute I imagine.

Lisha, I feel so bad for you with your back. My younger brother and cousin also have chronic back pain (from growing too fast apparently and something with their vertebrae...I don't know) and now with my cousin's accident his back is so much worse and he literally cries from the pain.

Things are going well with the book. I'm getting a lot done and shooting at least 2 things a day but I can tell that by December I'm going to need the Stilbaai holiday more than anything. And I'm going to book myself into a Spa for a whole day.

Oh and wow....going to suffer I think with this pregnancy...this child is SOOOOO FREAKIN ACTIVE!!! I think he kicks more than he doesnt kick...lol. Its like a permanent salsa party in my stomach...and people tell me boys are lazy?? Eish! Addison never ever kicked....if I maybe pushed on her she would nudge back, but that was the extent of it....so this is all so new to me. So I'm sure I'll be feeling that rib and pelvic kicking and discomfort so many people talk about!!!!!!!!!!

Zee is she drinking from bottle or cup when she wakes up?? I'm so glad when we stopped bottle last year...that was the end of night time drinking of any form. I would have lost it by now...still being so close to due date? I'd say introduce some tough love and not allow the drinking. She'll scream it out for 1 or 2 nights but then get the message?

Nicole have you managed to arrange that meeting with parents?

We had nice weekend. Went to check out some new cars:) Hyundai know NOTHING about customer service...and I so liked the Ix35....then bad attitude from salesperson and no wow factor inside car put me off. So going with the Cruze which i think is lovely inside:) So exciting...just need to arrange sale of my car and then can sort everything out.

Have to share this story....yesterday we left home without making our bed as church started one hour earlier due to rugby (imagine???). So I get home and ask my sister if she didnt make my bed up and she says nope. So I go to loo to empty my ALWAYS FULL BLADDER and then go to room and there is Addison on my bed throwing all my pillows and blankets on the floor. So I ask: What are you doing baby? She says: I'm making up your bed mummy. Can you help me?

Hi ladies

Hope you are all doing well. I have an assignment due tomorrow so have to get going with that. Just wanted to pop in and say hi! Weekend went by so quickly, went to the gynae on Friday. I was dissapointed that he didn't do an ultrasound, apparently baby is too big for ultrasound past the 36 w mark? I can't even remember that from Z ... But anyhoo, he just listened to baby's heartbeat and I'm seeing him again in a week. This is also my last week at work, so I'm really happy about that.
Ziani is doing well, very busy and she is such a chatterbox! She is showing some issues with her little brother's arrival though, saying he shouldn't come now and should still wait a little bit and he won't be allowed on her bike, etc ... Hmmm, she was so excited about his arrival ...

We went to a wedding yesterday and only got home at 2 am this morning, I was obviously not the belle of the ball but DH was party animal again! I had to drag him off with my feet swollen the size of mini footballs. Really not impressed ...

Any hoo, Ankia, good luck with the last few days! Can't wait for pics of your LG.

Nicole, hope you can get to the bottom of the school situation ... Not nice that he's not happy anymore.

Simone, it is so awful to go to work if they are so sad! I hate it when Z cries and it really ruins you for the rest of the day Glad your boss is so nice though! Nice improvement from the previous lot.

Okay, I need to start with this assignment (sigh sigh sigh)

PS: No idea why Z is not sleeping well, okay so you all know that she never sleeps through but most of the time she wakes up once or twice. Now, it's much more and then she wants to drink and drink and drink. I'm so frustrated when I hear: "Ek soek my rooibosteetjies, ek soek melkies, ek soek ...." GRrrrrr.
