Oct/Nov 2008 mommies!

Hi girls.

Just quickly popping in. Yesterday was amazing. I was so not in the mood to go but I'm glad I went. I spent about 10 minutes chatting to Justin Bonello about all his new books and shows and his publisher said he's back in JHB in November so I'm going to e-mail her and see if I can set up a lunch or something. He is SOO amazing and such a nice guy. I even got a photo of us.




ANyhoo, SImone....WOOOWWW!!! THat is so AMAZING! Congrats! You definitely have inspired me too. I can't tell you how much my stomach has shrunk. C now eats more than me and he doesn't eat a lot. At dinner time he usually has a chicken breast, a potato and some veg but now I dish all my extra food into his plate lol. And he eats all of it, so I'm pretty chuffed. Waiting to hear how much I've lost the last 2 weeks when my herbalife girl comes on Wednesday. I'm so proud of you!

Nicole, I also want to get the twins loads of hats etc. for their birthdays, they just love hats.

So it's my dads bday on Monday and I thought I'm just going to give him a big frame with loads of pics of the twins. I gave one to my aunt the other day for always watching them and he said very begrudgingly "I also want one" lol. I never thought he would but I guess he does, so I'll do that for him for his bday.

I've decided that I'm going to get the twins a shopping trolley each and a big tool set for their birthday. I can't just get one shopping trolley or else they'll fight over it. But then I'm going to ask my aunts and friends who ask about gifts to get 2 Barney DVD's, a lego set for each of them and just some other small stuff I thought they would enjoy. I also want to get them each these awesome books I saw at Baby City.

Don't you girls find that the kids are at such a funny stage, toy wise? All my kids are interested in playing with are their bikes, brooms, drawing stuff and tv. And they can play for hours outside with the most random crap lol.

Anyway, I need to go get photo's printed and all the last details together for my friends Nautical babyshower next weekend. Why I offer to do these things is beyond me, I always go way out and I get way too excited, but ag, it's her special day so I can't actually complain.

Mandy what do u have planned for cam's party? will it be at home or venue? And u're getting pony hey??

Addison is sitting here and singing off the top of her lungs, but I have no idea what song she thinks she is singing!lol. I think its made up because 'dada' and 'mama' feature in this song...ha ha!

Lwasi I'll send those meals ideas on tuesday.

G going to work now:-( I hope Addy will let me watch survivor, but I doubt it...it'll be a toy story marathon again!lol. Think I'll go wake my mom so I have company....*insert evil chuckle*

Mandy I don't know where u could afford to lose 2.5kgs, but wow...thats great! Congrats! I was so excited to weigh this morning and I'm down 6.6kgs....so 3.4kgs away from 10!

Got myself into a bad food situation yesterday...i felt for a sweet chilli wrap from wimpy. So we went...and I ordered that and sprite zero. G gets burger, bottomless coke and chips!

So I nibbled on some chips. Sweet cooldrink does not tempt me at all but I tell u this potato addiction?

Anyways...so I'm stuffed! We get home around 5:30pm and my mom COOKED for us...which she doesn't usually on a friday! So I had to eat or she'd kill us knowing she wasted her time:-( so dished into saucer....but I tell u my stomach was stretched to its limit! In pain! That was 6pm, I went to bed at 12 and I'm still not hungry!lol. My stomach has totally shrunk.

Hello, just a quick pop in. Couldn't let the day pass without saying Happy Happy Birthday to the two special 2 year olds! Ziani and Cole, Hope you've had a wonderful day and eaten lots of sweets and chocolate and cake and been spoilt rotten Well done Zee and Angelique (and your DHs!) on your precious LOs.

Helen thanks for the pics - I prefered to take my own pics - I wasnt one for showing my hubby the bare tummy a lot.. but i think your tummy is so neat and sweet!!

Julz - shame hon.. we have all done funny things like that to our kids and they think its just normal and love us inspite of it all, isnt that what the best about them!

SO Simone well done on the book - you inspired me with the weight loss and Im 2.5 kgs down and counting - i have such a rollercoaster weightloss routine! wish I could get over it! But really well done 6.1 is AMAZING! Keep going !

Im so excited I just remembered Im coming to PE in 2 week ends now whooo hoooo!

Cameron had to come to work with me today as they closed his baby class as they sent 10 kids home yesterday with gastro!! I had to pay 2 maids so that one could work at the office and one could look after cam - long story but my boss didnt feel that she needed to pay the fulltime office maid any extra, but the maid made a comment that she kinda expected it, !! so just paid both to keep the peace

Having work trouble - a bit of a war between me and the accounts dept and I hate fighting with anyone but they are pushing all my buttons and ive been sucking up for so long and I just snapped and let them HAVE IT! and one of the accounts ladies also partly owns the company - but anyway I sent a long email to the other two owners saying Im happy to call a meeting and put forward all the following issues to accounts to let them propose solutions and when the owners saw my email they said they feel its a management issue and needs to be resolved between the 3 owners first - they said it like they have my back and will keep me informed of any solutions etc - Im hoping things will start getting better but i think it will unfortuantely get worse before it gets better!

anyhoo - a busy day tomorrow running around all morning for cams party arrangements and then a lunch party at my cuz!!

ok so last night i had the night from hell talk about gastro freakin shiiiiiiiiiit ran about 30 times still going strong this morning so i decided not writing as wont make trip there got ready to call doc blah blah blah when by 7 i suddenly went and nothing came out so i decide finally empty lets do this drove like a bat out of hell sat through exam with only 1 break and recon did fine just ran out of time grrrrrrrrrr so end is bit of rush and not finished off man i was suppose to leave 6.50 ended up leaving 7.20 took wrong ofrad and still made it with 20 min spare mmmmm

ok so normal stuff for me playpark and mummy meets both sat and sun

lea is freakin sick again!!!!!!!! full blown cough, snot, nose everything man i am pissed as its wknd so i guess no dr for her

oh and ladies before i continue moaning as all u hear from me these days are sleepless nights and sick kids i just want to say having 2 kids is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING and not really so much more work its having a baby again that is taxing but not at all more than what it was with lea

the interaction between two kids is so FREAKIN UNBELIEVABLY REWARDING and the fact that xen is 100% differant to lea is amazing so yes i would recommend having more babies ladies and just ignore my bitching as that is news and reality but the rewards FAROUTWEIGH the moans
