hey gals

ally sorry friend, doesnt sound easy at all... wish you strength for friday!!

Nel pretty impressive to make pancakes with the kiddies, its so nice just to go with their suggestions and to see how happy it makes them!

My sister was saying about the 1, 2,3 thing that she now says, I am going to count to 3 and most times, she doesnt even need to start the count :) how nice that we are all sharing that ONE RULE FITS ALL OF OUR BABIES, nice one Nel

Vix, thinking of you and excited to hear how your project is unfolding.. !! and what it is?? let us know when you can?

Lisha about the kids on the side of the road, I thnk it differs from community to community as to what the solution is.. you will need to investigate a litte more deeply i think about how to deal with this.. unfortunately its not black in white in our country since i dont think social welfaire will always be better.. so perhaps you can find out about specific charities that do help in these situations and ask for their advice, if you find a particularly good one, it might actually be better for the kids to be away from their parents, as it cant be a nice life.. although we all agree that family and love is stronger than money, its hard to know whether they are being loved and cared for or just simply abused and used! I am sure though that if you do intervene and get the law invovled, you would feel very responsible for the outcome! Your heart is a big one :) Keep me informed !!

Helen yuk re next day, although glad you had fun that night. I honestly cant bare being so tired the next day so like you, drinking is not just an option if you go overboard anymore a bit sad as Im sure, you like me, also just wish to feel freedom of responsibility and for things to be FUN in the same way it used to be before kids arrived, but we"ve moved to far away to be able to reach that place now!! bloody kids!!

Julz - brilliant news re MRI , so hopefully pinpointing the problem areas might help you figure out how to stop all the pain!!

Cameron is sleeping through again guys, its pure bliss!!

I am enjoying his independence at the mo, its just so important to him and if you let him just go with it, he is much happier, but i sure am learning patience

We are in limbo with the rental house, some of you saw on facebook that we found a cluster for rent and signed an agreement with the estate agent and it looks liek the owner who is abroad is finding issues and deciding whether to sell or rent, so only time will tell.. Im so excited to find such a lovelly place, so lets cross fingers that i get it..

For those of you who missed my previous post, our baby girls name is JENNA :) we do reserve the right to change our minds before or at birth, but i love the name.. we are trying to keep it a secret from friends and have told only family besides you guys, but i just LOVE to tell :) so haveee to tell you guys.. so dont load it on facebook pls!

Nelria 2 syllables is like le-a, or mi-a or man-dy two beats to the name, Nel-ri-a would be 3 syllables so it would be Jenna Mia Biart for example,as i think it would be too long to be Jenna amanda biart .. dont know if you are following at all, but if you dont get it, maybe one of the afrikaans girls know the afrikaans word for syllables :)

okay now, off to bed for an early night!

Little Jenna Lucy Biart born by C SEC on 21 Dec at 8.05 weighing 3.18 kilos and 50cm long - my healthy happy girl finally in my arms.

Hi ladies

I have a brain and it is fine. So the issue is from migraine and inner ear issues. Given some hectic drugs which I am terrified of but will see how they go.

Hi Everyone

Ally just wanted to say strongs to you and your family.

Julz how did the MRI go?

Lisha, glad that the x-rays revealed that it is nothing to serious with your back.

Nicole, love the presents that you are getting K

Not much to report on my side.

All is well and just nervous about Cole's weigh-in in Oct. He doesn't look like he is fattening up yet and he drinks the peadiasure now like there is no tomorrow...But keeping my fingers crossed that all goes well.

On my way home now but just wanted to HELLO and have a good evening.

Hi ladies

Ally I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts & prayers are with you & your family during this difficult time xxx

Julz good luck with MRI & hope all is clear xxx

Nelria wow you're brave to do DIY over the holidays ;) Hope you get most of it done then.

Nicole hope everything eases up on all fronts for you ... seems like you've been super stressed recently so hope you do get to have a nice rest in December.

We're considering getting Shrey the steering wheel for the Playstation 2 that we have. He's loving playing racing games on that so it may be perfect. Otherwise we also considering the Disney Cars race track & cars. And off course puzzles and books etc cos he's really enjoying all that at the moment.

So a question that's been bugging me a while now. I see many moms/dads begging with their babies/little kids all the time in the Dbn or surrounding areas. I feel so sorry for these little kids whom most times are so exhausted from being out in the sun that they are fast asleep on the adults shoulder. I never give them money but may give them food if I have any in the car.
My question is what is the responsible thing to do when one sees this? Call the police or social welfare or just let it be? DH says at least these kids have parents but surely this is abuse to an extent? I know it can't be as clear cut as this but my heart aches for these poor children. And most often the adults begging appear to be young, able bodied people so surely they must be able to get some sort of work even if it's gardening or something???
Sorry for that long story but I'd really like to hear what your opinions are on that situation?

Hi ladies

Ally i am so sorry for your loss. You and your family will be in my thoughts. xxxxxxx

Julz good luck with the MRI. xx

I think im must start using this 123 method religiously, although K hardly acts up anymore re: tantrums, its just the flipping whining i need to get sorted.

Helen its always good to let go now and again, but yes you right the hangover/tiredness is so not worth it the next day. Glad to hear that the kiddies are doing well. Let us know how much Nina weighs.

Lisha you must be so excited for Shreys birthday. Any idea what you are going to get him yet? I hope things calm down for you at work soon.

K was so cute last night and was such a chatterbox, Jessie and him have become partners in crime, but so cute together. I made lasagna last night, havent made it for a few months and K had 2 servings which i was happy about as last week all he wanted for supper was melrose on bread and yogurt, so hopefully he will eat better this week.

other than that, i hope you ladies have a lovely day.

I am also a 1 2 3 mom. It works like a bomb but only if you follow through and I never get to 3 now.
