AFS: Amo lost a bit of weight due to teething and my granny on the other side is not well, its been bugging me and I am so worried about her and Amo as well, I mean how does she take care of a child while she is not feeling well herself.

Pakistan is great I am having the time of my life, media propaganda has ruined the image of this country, this is not withstanding the fact that off course the are suicide bombers, its a terrorist hub...but its not as bad as the media makes it out to be. People are friendly and going about their daily business. We are under 24 hour guard, so its OK.

Happy Birthday Christopher!!

Vix - you are one of the strongest women i know and im thinking of you my dear. I think you are choosing to remain positive but emotionally, thats sometimes the harder thing to do. YOu must feel anxious and scared, but just remember, we all had funny scares during pregnancies and since yours is twins you were bound to have DOUBLE TROUBLE. I also believe they will be perfect! Also - just remember, if we were looking at all the babies together, and we looked at Cameron and Iris - who are only 2 weeks apart, can you imagine the difference in utero for example!

Anyhoo - im glad that elwyn is by your side, so just TRY take it easy!

Well cameron has gastro guys - BOTH SIDES.. so no year end zoo party for us and Im so sad, I was so looking forward to it. 4 x vommits and 1 x nasty poo, but he doesnt have a fever and is still trying to eat and drink. so i will just keep a watchful eye on him..

Hi Yoza, Hi Lwasi, Hi Zamzie - glad you all popped in, oh and PFAIRY! Welcome back!

okay all chat soon..

HI mommies.

Firstly, HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRISTOPHER!! :)

I am so flippin exhausted. Yesterday was such a hectic day. Had to get up at 5h40!!! Then leave the house at 6h30 and got to Germiston at 08h00. Left there at 10h45 and got home at 12h00. Had a nap of 25 minutes when C woke me and then said "oh I can't remember what I wanted to tell you!" I almost strangled him. Then we had to take pictures of my brother and his gf for the matric farewell. Man, he looked gorgeous. So suave. And he was so worried that he didn't get a nice car and he phone a taxi company and they sent a bright yellow London Taxi Cab. One of those old ones. It was TOOO gorgeous. He was so chuffed. ONly got home at 3 this morning!
I'll post a picture tomorrow of how nice him and his gf looked.

So today is yet again hectic, but luckily no work. Going to the Hazel Food Market at 9 with my friend, then I have to make some more truffles and cupcakes as we're going to our friends' bday party at 16h00. My aunt and cousin are coming here to watch the twins which is a relief because then they can fall asleep in their own beds etc.

C and I really need some time alone (although we'll be with other people still). Been a busy week.

Simone, The parcel arrived LAST week Friday. I went to go fetch it and I'm posting it to Vix, Helen and Zamzie on Monday when I have to go send of the book winner's gift. I would also complain. Apparently there was some mix up with all the stuff coming to PTA but I told them that that's ridiculous. What if it was a important document or something? BUt at least we have it now and the mommies will all have their goodies by next week. :)

Oh, Vix, just wanted to say about the tweenies. I know you're worried but it's good that you're waiting to see what is what in 2 weeks. At 30 weeks Aidan was a full 500g heavier than Abi and he was a lot bigger. But the doc said because they're fraternal she's not worried. And Abi stayed 200-400g behind Aidan on the scans and on their birthdate she was only 100g lighter. So relax today and enjoy your little boy's SECOND BIRTHDAY!!! :) :) :)

Morning ladies,

Thanks for all the well wishes and thoughts of the tweenies. I'm not getting too stressed just yet, will wait and see what the next appointment brings in 2 weeks time.

I'm not worried if they are different birth weights, i always figured tweenie2 would be a bit smaller, I'm more concerned that IF the placentas have joined and it is TTTS (twin to twin transfusion syndrome) that they will have to be born early in order to keep them both alive and that's what scares me, the thought of having such prem babies. But we should be able to tell better come the next appointment if there is no change in the growth difference.

And after everything i flippin forgot to ask for my AntiD injection script so HAVE to remember next time or it'll be too late. Because I am A- and DH is O+ i need the shot in case of a bleed, otherwise my body will build up antibodies against the RH+ and if one of the babies is RH+ it will see it as a foreign object.

I'm going to change my preggy vits from the Pregnavit M to the Preg Omega for this month, not sure if the preg omega is any better but it certainly has a heftier price tag so i hope it is.

My Dr is just concerned enough to keep it in our thoughts but if he was really soooo concerned he would've bought me back in a weeks time not 2 and i trust him totally which is a huge relief.

But also he's going on leave from 12th Dec when i will be 36w eeeekkkk so i will probably have these babies around then because i don't want ANYONE else to deliver my babies. Kinda selfish but again it's a trust thing and i trust him with my life and those of my children too. Last time i had a few health issues that he was able to overcome without adding extra stress to me or DH and i just don't feel anyone else will handle it quite as well.

I was in immense pain last night in the ribs, back and lower abdomen i could barely walk down the house so Elwyn gave my back a quick rub and wow, i slept better last night and feel 100% better this morning.

I was so emotionally drained last night, i don't even feel excited for C's birthday, it doesn't even feel like his birthday today. DH says it's because of the appointment yesterday but i have to be honest and say it's not, C has been wearing me down further and further every day with the constant whining and moaning and even though he can communicate now he insists on saying 'mama' for everything, if he's tired, hurt, hungry, anything it's 'mama mama maaaaa maaaaaa' in the most irritating voice. It's really driving me mad and I'm just so sore from the constant picking up putting down.

anyways that will be my whine over for the whole weekend, not because i don't have more but because i have too much to do LOL

still need to do the housework and re model C's cake toppers :-( i pput a lid on the cake to keep the ants away and it got warm and moist and melted the cake toppers and the food colouring ran so now we have a grassy hill with coloured blobs cake LOL

good job i took a pic of it before.

Simone- 1kg is fab! wow you mustn't be so hard on yourself girl, i can't believe you've lost 6kg in such a short space of time, you sound so happy and excited! It's fab!

Mandy- sorry i never remembered to post about your absence. I hope things between you and M get fixed soon, i suppose because he's now home a lot more it makes things a bit different.

PFairy- sorry i kept forgetting to reply to you yesterday, glad you had a great holiday but yes Europe is very expensive! Glad to hear Mia is better and i just loved the idea of Xander throwing money into his petrol cap LOL
