oh vix wanted to say there is also a baby boom opening in the same mall with opening specials till 14th all and all its a new wing of 54 stores that all openend yesterday so all of them will have specials - but like i said dont know if its worth your effort with masses of peeps - i am braving it now now so let me know if u want to check it out i can always go same time as u - or otherwise i will check it out and post later

Angie: bad mummy definately not. Give yourself time to work with CJ. he himself is descovering and testing boundaries. Julz have me the best advice to be keep at it and dont give eventally CJ will listen. Siba is the worse he ignores me when i say no at home but i keep saying no and i also smack hime as well. It will take time but you will get there

vix apparantly they have huge sales but problem is i cant find online on what? so I will go there and report back my mum went yesterday and game and dischem was madhouse she said trolleys stacked to the top - I have builders warehouse leaflet and stuff like toolsets that is usually R1500 is now R1000 but no idea what game and dischem has dont want to send u and our belly to place with ques, traffic and people then no baby specials to really speak off - so will sms u if its massive or come post if its mediocre - gotta run quick and shower xen is out for power nap just enough to shower and coffee

I know all these things and that routine is the way to go, and my son has always been in a fairly good routine, but the last week especially I feel I just couldn't be bothered I am just too tired... Wednesday evening was a particularly difficult evening with CJ and when I shouted at him (i've never shouted at him like this before) it was as if I totally lost it - and it actually just made matters worse... DH also said to me I overreacted and that made me feel even more guilty!!!! I did not sleep at all on Wednesday evening becoz I felt so extremely guilty and I know this is gonna sound stupid, but as soon as I closed my eyes I saw Cj's little face in front of me, after I shouted to him - at the end I got in to his bed with him, and just laid next to him and held his hand. So yesterday I was tired and emotional and just needed the support of my moomie friends!!!! I don't know what I'd do without you guys - it's just as if everything came into perspective after I've read all the replies...

Cj was a lot better last night, we did have a tantrum before bedtime, and I had to lay next to him untill he fell asleep - but I'm ok with that for now.

Hello ladies

I am alive and kicking (thanks for missing me Simone!) just been really busy this week so not had time to reply, I have been keeping up as much as possible though.

Its too late for a full reply, probably won't get a chance again now until Sunday as SIL is staying tomorrow and then I have a 30th Birthday on Saturday - High Tea at the Michaelangelo, I have no idea what to expect or what the hell I'm going to wear with my big tummy hehe!

Angie - I'm so with the other ladies, for my sanity and for Oliver's routine is the key for us so I'd suggest doing whatever you feel you can manage to get the routine back. Its definitely a phase these kids are going through, as you can hear from the other mums most of us are experiencing something similar so don't feel bad about it. Oliver is driving me round the bend at the moment, he's constantly moaning and if he doesn't get something he wants then it ends in tears or him lying on the floor stamping his feet and behaving like a real little sh!t. He doesn't even know what he's fussing about sometimes so I think it can be just sheer frustration or testing me. Don't beat yourself up about it, we've all done things we wish we hadn't as parents so please don't feel like a terrible mum, you are a great mum and that's all you need to focus on Ok that's my 2 cents worth

On a similar subject Oliver can be a little ratbag with me, sometimes when I go out with him he insists that I carry him, he won't sit in the trolley, nothing, he stands there hopping up and down whining with his hands up for me to pick him up and carry him, not easy with my tummy as you can probably imagine - but a battle I can't always be bothered to fight, sometimes its just quicker to pick him up and carry him otherwise I'll be in the shop all day waiting for him to scream it out. Theo often takes him out on a Saturday morning after his swim lesson so I can have a few hours to myself and I always ask Theo when he gets back how often he asked to be picked up - 'he didn't' is the usual answer, WTF?! He's happy to walk all over the place with Theo but when he's with me I must carry him all the time? I'd love to know what the solution is to that. Last time I refused to pick him up and walked away and left him rolling around on the floor in the middle of the shopping centre. Everyone looked at me like I was the worst mother in the world and at Oliver like he was the biggest brat on this planet, people were even shaking their heads at me LMAO! Luckily I'm not sensitive to things like that so it doesn't bother me. If the three of us are out then he'll ask for me to carry him, I tell him no mummy can't manage it, daddy will carry you and that usually leads to a tantrum as well, daddy isn't good enough, he's never been sensitive like that before so I can only assume it must be something to do with my ever growing belly...

Simone - Congrats on Addy pooing in the toilet WOHOO! But an even bigger congrats to you on the weightloss!! You go girl, I'm really pleased for you

Nicole - I'm sorry to hear that K has been sick again, at least if you take him to see an ENT you'll get a specialists opinion and lucky for you to have Mandy who's been there and done that so she's full of useful hints and advice

Zee- Wohoo on Z sleeping through in the big bed, may this be the start of great things for you in the sleepng department.

Nelria - You've probably already answered this before but what are you planning to become after your studies? You say an internship, doing what?
