Our weekend was incredibly chilled. I just went with my friend on Saturday morning to buy some of the stuff for her babyshower and got some stuff for the twins' bday too. We just spent the afternoon chilling and I'm glad I didn't plan anything because Aidan was being difficult. Thank goodness after his nap he was in a better mood.

I'm so not in the mood for this week. I have the Sanlam Truffle Workshop on Friday and it's going to be more mission than it's worth. I have to make truffle mixture for 50 people!!! That means 500 truffles! Because all the ladies will be making their own truffles! Grrrr! I have NO idea how I am going to transport 4 giant bowls of truffle mixture all the way to JHB without it melting but I guess I better make a plan hey? Thank goodness it's only like 45 minutes work and I'm getting R2500 for it (Actually R4500 but R2000 is for all the chocolate etc. )

I hope they pay me before Wednesday so I can buy all the stuff without having to borrow money from my dad.

Anyway, I'm busy writing my Jamie Oliver book review now. I'm a bit nervous because 10 other REALLY good food bloggers also got the book and I'm scared my review won't be as good as theirs. I'll share the link once I'm done so you can all give me your HONEST opinions!!!

Mandy hope your date night was fun. Pics of Cam's haircut??? Shrey screamed blue murder & then some for his haircut. And you're lucky that Cam atleast sits down even if he's crying, Shrey pushes up and pushes away, had to do it while I was carrying him lol.

Vix glad you had a nice shower, even if it was with fewer people. Happy shopping today.

Nicole sorry to hear about your brother and his issues. Unfortunately life with an addict is so up & down and I do hope he sorts himself out soon. Your poor SIL is probably so stressed now.

AFM we had a hectic weekend. Just never still for too long on Saturday. Haircut for Shrey, then sari shopping for sil's wedding, time with IL's and spent the night at my sisters. Shrey slept well there in his campcot but woke up at 4:30 yesterday and we had so little sleep so felt very exhausted for the rest of yesterday.

My gran lost her sister on Friday evening and the funeral was yesterday, so I went to that & dh took Shrey with to drop sil off at the airport (which is now nearly 35-40 mins away from us). After that we had the most awful lunch at Panaroti's and quick shopping at Woolies food and relaxed with so Gossip Girl for the rest of the evening while Shrey napped.

Happy to be back at work and have some normality. Expecting another 2 hectic weekend with a big prayer for my dad this week and the following week I am hosting sil's bridal shower. Can't wait for all the exhaustion and expenses to be behind me!!!!

hope everyone had a good weekend? Ours was really good, saturday we just relaxed had a picninc with K who was on a bug hunt lol. saturday night once K was in bed I made DH and I a little platter of mini cocktail sausages, samoosas, chicken nuggets and stuffed eggs, and we ate this on our patio sharing a bottle of wine, was fun. Sunday morning we took K to the touchfarm, we werent there long as K was afraid of the horse, which surronds all the animals, so he kept wanting me to hold him and carry him around.

The rest of the sunday was spent cleaning, washing etc all the un-fun things to do on the weekend.

Vix i am so pleased you got spoiled. Sorry to hear about the on-going rib pain!! I cant belive you have 7-10 weeks left for baba's arrive!!! Will C be staying by your mom for a few days??

Morning ladies,

Sorry i was absent since thursday, just had a really hectic weekend with picking mum up on friday, baby shower on saturday and yesterday we washed the dogs ready incase we have visitors next weekend.

The rest of October is just as hectic for me with my free days and free weekends being filled in all the time, wow, roll on Nov when i can and will do nothing!

Well baby shower no2 was on saturday. Very disappointing, o.k i enjoyed myself but almost everyone canceled on that very morning so my friend was very disappointed and she had put in so much effort. But i still got some nice pressies and we had a nice chill out chatting session without the men which is always great.

So now all baby showers are over i packed out the clothes yesterday and can't believe how few newborn stuff i have. I've got tons of 0-3m but the twins won't fit in that for at least the first 2 months so need to go shopping for newborn clothes today.

Can't believe I'm nearly 28w already not sure where the time has gone to. Less than 10w till the Tweenies are here but I'm looking at possibly only as few as 7 weeks just to be on the safe side.

I'm getting this rib pain every day now by 10am and it doesn't go until I sleep at night grrrrr but i will just have to deal with it i suppose.

The tweenies were moving a lot yesterday, last night and still this morning and i wonder if they are not trying to find space to turn but if they are gonna do it they will have to do it together because there really isn't much free space in this tummy of mine.

Getting some sharp pains around the area of my cervix too so think i will just mention that to the gynae on friday.

Ally- can i rather get Elwyn to pick up that stuff from you when he goes to the factory next? I don't know if I'll have fuel money before payday and am hectic again after.

Helen- wow i can't believe your DD is so close, how you feeling? nervous? when does your mum come over?

Files...rather not ask! I'm gonna be working all of tomorrow! No idea why i didnt do one or 2 today! In fact i think let me do one now.

We had a nice day...though early freakin wake up! Gerard was working so addy and i watched toy story. Then we went to check her party venue...she didnt wanna leave...but luckily didnt fight me. I then went to an annique 'jubilee' launch. Was nice...we got some free tea, hand cream and snacks, choc mousse cake (could only do half a slice...was flippin rich). So cake and freebies at least covered ticket price. 3 lucky draws at each table....we were 6 and as luck would have it...i won nothing.lol.
