Lisha I did get a couple pashminas for myself, but sadly not the expensive ones. Will get when I come back. Bought the sarees which were fairly pricely. Okay not really but others convert to Rands which I never do. I just work with the currency I have or I would overspend!


I think the two pure silk sarees were 380 for both though. Rediculous really.

No not going to be in Dubai for long sadly. Not too phased though about the spice.

Nicole glad you guys had a good weekend and hope the guys feel better soon.

Nelria good to have you back. Sorry you had such a rough time. Hope they all settle now that the seasons have changed.

Julz sounds like you loved the shopping. Funny enough we didn't bring back spices either just a few little boxes of saffron strands. Used to cooking with spices we use here so didn't stress about that. You aren't spending any time in Dubai on your way back are you? If so the spice souk there was really quiet awesome. Didn't get yourself a pashmina??? I love them. Oh and the tuk tuks are too cool lol ... and very cheap too.
Glad Dylan is doing well, sure you can't wait to hold that little guy at the end of the week.

Nicole, you'll be excited on the day! I was very excited before but all I did was do wedding stuff. I didn't work so I had nothing to take my mind off it. It's so exciting! Can't wait to see the pics.

Julz, you have to bring spices back. I can just imagine how amazing they will be to cook with. Dylan sounds so cute!

okay did last of shopping in Delhi. Got some nice gifts for Neil and Dylan. Didn't buy gifts for friends unless they are really into yoga etc. I bought a tiny something for my yoga teacher. I bought Dylan a toy tuk tuk. Lisha will know what that is. It is the three wheel taxi and they call it a tuk tuk due to the noise it makes. I think that was my favorite buy to be honest. I also finally managed to get Neil an Indian cork screw for his collection. I bought them both t shirts and I got neil a pestle and mortar. I am hoping to get spices in Mumbai. Can you believe it is the one thing I haven't found much of. Not easy to find your way around unless you know where you need to go. Got my gran a pashmina (Lisha forgive spelling) and a bag then I bought myself a couple nice things. A ring, bag, shoes, shirt, t shirt and some books on the Taj Mahal and Lotus Temple.


Now I need to rest as I have not been getting to sleep early. Find it hard to doze off without Neil next to me.

Dylan is doing fine. Get to chat to him on skype. All he does is sing I love you , You love me... too cute.

Nelria so sorry to hear that Xen has been sooo ill, it really hard when they are so tiny and sick. Wow Lea, is such a brave little girl!!!

Ally enjoy all the sorting out, housework can be the most tiring thing at times.

Okay so ladies I cant belive the wedding is in 1 week and 5 days EEEEK!!! I still havent got shoes, need one of those bra's where there is no back because my dress laces up at the back, still need to buy thank you gifts to my SIL and brother, need to find K a waistcoat plus a few other things.

It really feels surrel that the wedding is taking place next weekend, i feel excited but not as excited i thought i would feel??? maybe with DF and K being ill plus soooo busy at work it keeps me busy.

Our weekend was very relaxed. Went to C's dad on Saturday and when we got back my family was here but they left by 10 already. Yesterday just lied on the couch relaxing and had pizza and beer for dinner. Man it was good. Watched a movie last night etc.

Nelria, hope Xen gets better soon!!! Shame man, he's so little to be so sick!

Julz, enjoy the last week there!

I feel like I have so much to do this week. I have to sort out our patio. It's become kind of like our storage space and it's disgusting. There is so much crap there that I just want to throw away. Then I STILL haven't done the twins' cupboards. We need to sort out the study (but that's more C's stuff) and then I'd like to sort out my cupboards too. I have so much old clothes that need to go. Writing it all out now, it doesn't seem like that much, I just need to stop being lazy!

ok so since last week lea manages the jungle by herself the metal toddler one she climbs up ladder walks over grid and then slides down - all this higher than my head - no fear i tell u its crazy as she can barely stretch between the steps but she started at jingle jangle then wanted to at school they stopped her (too small) so tantrums whole week i told them she can so they watched her and voila now happy camper again - on friday teacher left note in her bag saying she had to bath and wash lea's hair due to dirt and sand after playtime LOL as she slides into sand it got all over and in everywhere

xen was trooper for christening but afterwards foto's flopped as he had enough so only got sleeping ones

afm - no shopping just unpacking crates for summer stuff as u lot know i have donors for boys and girls stuff so lea is looking snazy in board shorts and vests this summer as i like to mix the boy stuff in to add my style

lelani - so glad wedding sorted and chanel getting to be involved its so special for them

ok admin and studies etc for me know exams in oct/nov so have to pull finger
