One night in the week i put Addison to bed and went outside to fetch something..I figured she was fast asleep...i come back and there is Addison mopping the kitchen floor at like 9pm! I thought it was hilarious!

Addison is not interested in her mini broom I bought her in December...she wants the real thing...the big cahuna broom when she sweeps!

Zee I am so glad you found a good creche! Must be such a load off! Will she start in January? I really hope your DH finds something else soon...to be hating a job, earning crap money...it really takes it out of a person.

Pfairy, Aidan is the same with doors. OMG, imagine if they really do get married. They are going to be like OCD to the max lol.

Got them each a broom now from Reggies. Aidan has cleaned the lounge so far lol.

Ally.... Mia is exactly the same. At least we know our children will have a very clean house. Mia is like her dad - a perfectionist. actually, she is irritating me with her perfect manners. if doors isn't exactly next to each other when close, she try to fix it and then through a tantrum. she is cleaning the whole day. I've bought her a broom, etc. after dinner she is cleaning the table. her shoes must be perfect in her cupboard. she is really a weird child.

Didn't make it to the Lotus Temple.

Instead went into old Delhi and looked for spices. Which we didn't really find and we saw a whole new side of Delhi but amazing. Went to a sari warehouse and it was amazing. I don't want sari's at alll, but ended up buying two silk ones (fabric only) that I am going to use as a table cloth and on as part of a duvet. They are honestly stunning. Then we went to the red fort but it was just too hot and they don't sell water anywhere so we headed back to the hotel. I am off for the marathon clinic day in an hour.

Zee I hope that things improve for hubby and glad you found an awesome daycare. It is so important and somehow makes a working mom quite comfortable with the concept.

Zee, we'll know by the 25/26th of September. The voting is open until the 17th and then the judges will vote and the ceremony is on the 25th. Only sucky thing is that they don't tell you before the ceremony if you've won so I probably won't be going to CT.
I miss the Cape so much and I would've stayed in the One&Only. grrrr

So my dad got the house in Stilbaai! I am so incredibly excited. It is such a gorgeous house (thatch roof which I'm not crazy about) but the view is unbelievable. I can't wait to go there in December!

Anyway, C and I are deliberating whether we should go to Reggies now. We really want to buy Aidan a cleaning set. He is CONSTANTLY asking for a broom and sweeping all over. We gave him the broken broom now and man he doesn't stop! It's actually the cutest thing on earth! And he's pretty good at it too. He only sweeps when there's something to sweep and he makes sure he gets every little thing. too cute. So we need to decide if we want to get dressed and go (we are all still in pj's!!) or if we just want to stay at home....
