Hi all,

Hope you are all doing great!

I am proud to say that I have launched my own blog after putting it off for ages. DH and my mom-in-law finally convinced me to do so and I hope I will now be successful in the blogging word.

My blog is about food as cooking has been one of my passion. I focus on different types of cuisine but more so the Mauritian Cuisine. So if you need some inspiration or you just wanna try out some Mauritian food, you can visit my blog.

Click on: Pistaches et Chocolat

If you do visit and find anything useful, please leave a comment or rate my blog. You can also subscribe to receive recipes etc.

Thanks

Hello :)

Lisha - Wow I can't believe Shrey is going to be 2 so soon!! And the cake sounds yummy :) Are you getting him a pressie for his birthday? I'm set on Oliver having a Thomas the Tank Engine cake this year :)

Nicole - I started typing a message yesterday afternoon to say you should go for drapes and flowers but I never got round to finishing it, yay that that's what you went for anyway!

Lelani - Sorry to hear that Zian's been sick, it really is a worry when they vomit so glad that its nothing serious.

PFairy - I love Mia's "I'm not impressed" face lol and I love the pic in her Minnie outfit, she looks so grown up :)

Julz - Glad to hear you arrived safely, hope you have a great time.

Ally - I'm so happy that the expo went well, may this be the start of great things. FX for a better night with Abi.

Zee - So sorry about the break in and your handbag, was it actually in your complex? Yay on finding a crech for Z, that must be a big relief.

Vix - Have to laugh at C and the mud, boys will be boys, imagine when you have double trouble hehehehe ;) Oliver lives in the flower beds and also has an obsession with heavy things, we have random bricks and stones all over the garden and he fills his pull cart with them and then pulls them all over the garden arranging them elsewhere. I'm waiting for the inevitable broken toe...we had a squashed finger over the weekend as result of dropping one :( Sometimes its ther only way.

Simone - Glad you had a lekker pampering session, I'm quite green, I'm in dire need of a haircut and would love a shoulder massage as well but I can't see either happening any time soon...lol.

My mind is hitting a blank now...

Ok I have a question to any of you ladies with swimming pools, and hoping for your input, Theo and I are having a friendly disagreement, he thinks we might have a leak in the pool because the water level is dropping, I on the other hand think its evaporation, I'd say the water level is probably dropping about an inch a week, maybe slightly more although it seemed to go down quite noticably after the warm day we had on Sunday, its in direct sun from about 10am until dusk and we don't have a cover or blanket or anything. Can any of you help out with whether that's normal or not...?

I'm off to see the gynae later, Theo can't come with as its month end which is a bit of a bummer, just hoping Oliver doesn't go too mental, he gets quite upset when I lie on the bed bless him so its always easier if Theo's there to calm him down. Hopefully we'll get a decent pic of the face this time...can't believe how quickly time is flying now, only 13 weeks to go. When I was pregnant with Oliver the time really dragged from 20-30weeks but this time round its flying by, Must be because the house is keeping us so busy.

Oh, and I've been meaning to say, its such a long way off (March next year lol) but Theo and I have treated ourselves to tickets to see the Cirque de Soleil, I'm excited about it already hehe, I hope its as good as all the reviews it gets :)

Lelani, sorry about Zian being so Ill, glad he is better though! I also freak out when K vomits, which will often lead to two stressed parents= tension fights. ((hugs))

Just stocked up on K's meds so should be fine now for the next few months.

lol Vix my pleasure ;) The cake's are usually yummy from this bakery so hope it's as good next Saturday. We're not splurging on this party so at R270 for a 16 inch square cake I think it money well spent.
