Simone how was your pampering? I had my facial and waxing done on Saturday but due to all my skin problems my facials are relaxing sessions anymore ... lots of exfoliation etc that I am really not loving.

Happy to report that Shrey is doing much much better. And best of all he is eating well again. Only problem is he only wants to eat curry & rice now ... if I give him macaroni etc he has a couple bites and then he isn't interested. So much for offering a balanced diet!!!

I am up this early because the twins have decided that 6h30-6h45 is a good time to wake up now. This has been happening for the last 5 days. C and I are not happy! hehehe

Pfairy, that's amazing! You are an inspiration. If it wasn't for my food blog depending on me cooking daily I would do the same. Must save SO much time.

I am quite exhausted after all this weekend's excitement. There was a lot of interest in Simply Delicious and so many people asking for the address etc. and then Sanlam's Regional Marketing manager asked if I could do their Women's days etc. doing Truffle workshops etc. She asked for my charge and I said R2500 for a morning and R4 000 full day excluding my products and ingredients. Things are finally starting to happen and I am so INCREDIBLY happy that I get to do the thing that I love more than anything (other than fashion which will always be my first love).

C has also really gotten into the whole photography thing and he is constantly on websites and out in the garden testing different settings etc. If he becomes very good (which he will coz he never ever gives up lol) We are thinking of joining forces. He will do the photography and I'll do the styling. It will be so amazing to be able to work together. So here's hoping to big things.

Mandy, it's fine that you didn't come yesterday. You could see all the exhibitors were drained yesterday and the vibe wasn't the same. I left before 2 because I only had 3 demo's.

And then another exciting thing is that the SA BLOG AWARDS will name their top 10 finalist in each category today or tomorrow. Then it's another 2 weeks of public voting and then the judges will vote. If I win I'm thinking that C and I must come to the award ceremony in CT for a night.
So I wanted to ask you girls, I need ALL your votes but want to make it easier for you, so if you don't mind, can I enter for you, you just have to confirm the e-mail that will be sent to you. I have most of your e-mail addresses already. Do you mind? It just makes it a bit easier for you. I am still alive. Sorry for being MIA. I now I don't receive the posts anymore

But everything is still going on. I am just so tired now. I've decided to do the "cook once a month" thing. so, I cooked and packed everything for the month. More time during the month and more good food and less take aways.

yesterday we went to a festival. Hubby and Xander went for a helicopter ride. Xander really enjoyed it a lot. The children enjoyed the rides in the merry-go-around. xander also ride on a camel.

Vix, you will be so proud of me. I am now so budget conscious. I now know what is on special. I buy bulk what ever is on a big special. I've got a budget and write down everytime we buy something - to see where the money is going.

and we will be in greece in less than 4 weeks. and still so much things to do. I've got a long list of packing and buying. started to buy things for greece. just a bit scared for Dubai. Read a lot of things about them - they are really strict.

Mia is still doing great. she is this little lady. loves making jokes and laugh. If I only laugh half that much.... still sleeping in her bed like a big lady. she is my rock girl. she loves music with a beat and you must see her head banging. too cute. she loves xander more and more. and I think she is irritating him more and more. still play with her, but sometimes (a lot of times) she is irritating him. then you can hear the two fighting.

hubby is going to pretoria for two weeks. yay for a bit me-time.
