Nelria- ahhhhhhh i have a wedding to attend on the 2nd Oct...... but it's in PTA and only 3pm so maybe i will just speak to Elwyn (depending on what time you want to meet) and see if we can just stop by your place for a little meet then we can just stop at a friends house to freshen up for the wedding.... I'm sure he won't mind coming along for 1 meet especially if it's at your place then he and Brett can chat and ignore the ladies......... but first lets see if people can make that date and a time before i stress too much, I don't live far from Lelani's family anyways so will already be spending lots of time drinking coffee with her. But that said i have never missed a meet so far so........ wow I'm like always never ever busy and never have plans but typical when Lelani is up i am.

Oh Lelani- that reminds me, i wanted to say it was so great to speak to you yesterday and hear how happy you sound! You really sound so errrrrrr what's the right phrase.........full filled and content with family life and soooo confident! xxxxxxxxxxx It's great to hear that happy voice! Nelria/Ally- so next wed for our coffee date, that would be the......... 1st Sept, perfect can't wait, you guys just let me know a time and we're on!

oh I don't think C's issue is the bed, in fact the cot will make him worse, because then he will just sit and scream from the other room so both of us will be woken. I just think it's a phase, he's very ma vas at the moment or actually anyone vas he just wants physical attention and i noticed sometimes when we mention the babies to him he gets stroppy so I wonder if maybe he is getting a little jealous already? He was actually a bit better last night, i read him a story before putting him to bed. He woke at 1 for a bottle and i was way too sleepy to fight so i just gave in but insisted he sleep in his own bed from then and he woke at 5 for another bottle so i gave it to him but again refused to let him into our bed. I think my first step is going to be eradicating this awful co-sleeping fascination because i HATE it, so once he stops asking to come sleep with us he will probably just give up on coming to ask and hopefully start sleeping through again. we shall see.

Helen- sorry to hear about Olivers bad night on Sunday, poor theo being kicked out LOL Elwyn won't leave his bed for anything LOL

morning girls ok so my telkom went down so i was ofline till last night

also xen got very sick i battled his cold at home for 2 weeks ten when he spiked a fever i took him to paed where he put him on antibiotics and 4 other meds was very neer hospitilizing grrrrrrrr

he is still coughing but almost over it now so am i and lea and brett - ouma has it now though so keeping thumbs for not recycling it

vix - dare i suggest a complete turn of events and putting him back in cot? - maybe it was too soon and new found freedom making him nutty LOL - but i get u saying wot stop crying lea does same so no sense waiting it out - i shock her now with extremes if she cries in bath i pluck her out if tantrum for carseat i pretend to leave without her etc

ok so as for sleeping lea has not had one single interupted night since xen's birth (go figure) she will stil ocasionally wake at 4 and then cry for a bit and we make her stay till 5 but for most nights now its 7-5/5.30 but as brett gets up its been smooth sailing

afm getting into study mode again so wish me luck

lea is talking up a storm, singing and starting sentences very cute

xen is gooing and gaing and is now 5.4kg and out of newborn clothes - vix nappy check so far 6 packs of 44 and 2 packs of 78 nr1's and 3pcks of 78 nr 2's will after this pck most probably move up to nr 3 - fitted into newborn for 2.5mnths(5kg's) and now into 0-3mnths at 5.4kg's - gone through 4 gripe waters, 1 buscopan and 2small formula's(top-ups)

vix/ally - wed for our benoni date seems to be in order - I am bringing natalie (mum to 10mnth old and 17wks preg so joining vix in jan)

nicole - tick tock wow girl so soon and i agree only invite if u want too - no obligations

yoza - if buhle is happy and healthy dont stress

helen - sooooooooo cool re swimming pool i would have done the same

ally - re sextalk with boet - its a personality thing some like to share others dont my boet and wife gets really dirty with their sharing to one and all an it embarasses me not them some join others ignore but he talks to me as his suster and it doesnt phase him - so just carry on babe

ok i cant remember what else as i caught up while feeding last night so love ad miss u all

oh and so we set for a meet with lelani on the 2nd? at my place is cool the as everybody knows where it is and its big enough for babes to run of steam

Hello mummies

I must say I feel for those mummies not sleeping. remember the days when i was complaining about siba waking and screaminh at night I could never figure it out. maybe it was the growing pains.

I must say my lil man is my new best friend. he has been sleeping right through for the past two weeks. even if he wakes up i just point to his water bottle and say ( siba thatha i titi yakho yamanzi ulale) simple take your water bottle and sleep. no hassles ladies.

Even when buhle wakes up screaming at night he no longer wakes up crying he just raises hid head check up on her snd goes back to sleep.

I must say this co sleeping is really working out in the end.

As for buhle thanks ladies for the advise i talked to piwe and to be honed she is not over feeding buhle. she has three bottles a day. a cereal, fruit and veggies at night. we have decided to cut down the amount of food and space out the bottle feeding as per the baby sense book.

I have decided the foods like banana and youghurt will be introduced much later. we will stick with the LG food stuff.
