Yoza- so sorry your news made you feel so bad, I undersdtand the sister's concern but it's not like ahe's eating anything fatty, she's on Formula during the day and breast at night, that's got to be better than a baby on formula 24/7. C has always drank more milk than the RDA but he's not over weight. Maybe she is just going to grow like Cam and Oliver did, they both grew so fast but now they have both really averaged out, when you look at them now they look no bigger than the other kids really.

Maybe stop the rice cereal, that's basically empty carbs and that will cause weight gain, stick to veggies more than fruits, sweet potatoes rather than regular potatoes. That way I can't see she would be putting on any more weight than her body naturally wants to.

Lelani- the problem with C is it's not a case of putting him back in bed repeatedly, he will scream for hours and no amount of putting him back to bed works, I know I did it for over an hour last thursday. When he was in the cot he was the same during these bad phases, he will scream the house down until he gets what he wants, no one can sleep through it and he never gives in, I have left him for an hour and still he doesn't stop crying. I think it's time to see if he might understand about rewards chart, I want to give him smiley faces and prizes for sleeping through and eating all his dinner things like that but I thought he might still be a bit small but then as I say that he understands a lot more than I give him credit for.

You dont want to put her nutrition in jepoardy as she is still young so you cant give low fat milk, etc.

I think you should speak to your paed about what she should get for her age vs how much piwe is feeding her. Perhaps you can water down her bottles if she is wanting more milk? Rooibos? I think you should speak to your paediatrician though.

Dont stress...she is a baby.

She did say that bottle first before we give her solids. even if takes two teaspoons of solids than its fine.

My thing is Simone Buhle has been gaining weight even before we started her on solids.

maybe piwe is over feeding her. My sister said she will talk and check up on her as well now that she works night shift.

I dont know I told her that buhle needs one or two tablespoons of food and that she needs milk every four hours.

Flip im stressing about this. I dont want a sick baby and clearly it will be my fault.

My biggest concern is night time cause she wants to BM. She refuses water and screams only sleeps after I BF.

Lisha I agree...very paranoid about people taking Addison, but I had my eye on her the whole time. Though i still ate like a demon to get to her..lol.

And its weird cause i saw a small child there...about 12-15 months?? Parents nowhere in sight! I must say the lady watching the kids is very sweet and the minute they cry she takes them to their parents, but ya...some people are more comfortable than others.

Lisha its so funny..>Gerard went to get Addison and he is standing next to this huge guy.. This is the dad of the 12-15m old i realise. So i go get them so we can leave...but i see G and this guy are deep in conversation..I'm thinking...probably the rugby or something. Dont you think i hear Gerard say: ya we were thinking the same about not having the gap between kids too big! LMAO!

I couldnt believe it...2 dads talking about kids...it was so sweet though;-)
