Vix, that was the most amazing thing for me. I knew Aidan was on the left and Abi on the right so it was so amazing when one of them moved and I knew who it was. I could also feel Aidan kicking Abi etc.

Leigh- actually it doesn't feel any different to when I was pregnant with C except that I'm bigger a lot earlier which is a bit uncomfortable but not enough to complain about just yet. I haven't been half as sick as I was with C either. I remember when C was born at 3.3kg his cousin was 9m old and looked enormous so can't imagine what a 2 year old will look like aganst a baby less than 3kg. I'm feeling a bit of movement but not enough for me to be able to say which baby it is and when, soon though I'm sure they'll start wriggling like mad.

Simone- it's like the walking thing, I wouldn't actually say my child was walking until it was unaided, C would make walking movements if you held his hands from 3m but he didn't actually walk til 12m un aided. No sorry but I don't believe a baby under 9m can be 'potty trained' because they can't even walk by themselves.

Simone, when my mom couldn't afford a party she got creative. But at the very least she at least invited the family over for a braai or something. You don't HAVE to spend a lot of money. I know this might seem like a lot but I'm budgeting on about R2500 to R3000 for the twins' birthay. Including EVERYTHING. The snacks for the adults, the lemonade for the adults, jumping castle, all the sweets and baked goods for the candy buffet, food for the kids and ALL the decorations. I'm sending out an e-mail invite so no cost there and the candy buffet doubles up as party favours. And I'm planning on making it quite special so I don't think R3000 is a lot for all the stuff I'm planning. But we'll see how I stick to that lol. I must also add that I'm using the money that I save every month for it.

I put R300 a month into my savings account for emergencies, buying bulk nappies etc. and then R200 a month into an account for the twins' education. Last month I got to save R500 into my account and R400 into theirs because I budgeted well. Going to live tight the next couple of months so I can save a lot for their bdays and Xmas.

Vix thanks for the run down re other topic .... cannot understand some peoples logic but hey whatever works for them ... And then the issue about breastfeeding only till baby ready for proper solids ... shame poor kids, so at what age would that be that they introduce solids then???

No party for Shrey this year ... we're not meant to do big celebrations etc for a year after a loss in the immediate family ... will do cake on his bday though.

Lelani sorry to hear about Zian's teachers loss. Glad u guys are well.
