Lisha sorry I though tonight farewell.

Re:sleeping...she LOVEs her bed.she tells us dudu time...goes and sits in bed with bottle and pulls blanket up. So that's not the problem. I can't think what it can be...cause she is full on crying....not even moaning. Hope she goes back to normal soon.

Do u guys think we were better off when these kids didn't talk?????

I went to loo earlier....Addy is walking up and down: where is mama??? Where mama???

I tried to be quiet but I burst out laughing and she found me... If I ignore its mama x 100 times she'll call me.. Asks for weeties (sweeties) and tippies (chips)....lol.so cute I end up giving her to much dried fruit!

This morning I was eating chow mein and she sees the steak and says: meat mama! More meat.
So afterwards I offer her carrot strips: no mama, meat! Once meat was done she ate the carrot. Lol

Breakfast the other day...i gave 3 hot chips, small piece sausage and mushrooms. She finishes it and comes: more mush-awns mama.

So cute that they know what they want! My child can eat mushrooms everyday!

Thanks Vix...now I am gonna have bread pudding cause of your pancakes!

Hi ladies,

Well we're back! :) and :(

We decided to stay another night because we could, but we were definitely ready to come home this morning. Just gave the twins breakfast and left.

I read most of the posts while there but I can't remember a thing.

I just remember Leigh asking about my new venture. I studied make-up and special fx right after school, then my mom passed and I took a gap year. I then studied hairdressing and then fell pregnant so had to give up my dream of working in fashion. I started my food blog last year October because I really felt like I needed something to do, plus so many people are always commenting on the delish food I make. I am absolutely obsessed with anything food. From kitchens and utensils to fresh ingredients and markets. And that's basically it. While I was pregnant I did bake gourmet cupcakes for clients but that didn't go anywhere as no-one has money to pay between R6 and R10 for a cupcake. Let's hope this venture goes a bit better.

Need to go unpack now and then get back to the everyday stuff. I need to work out a quote for Nosipho and then start the planning.
I'm doing 30 cupcakes, 30 brownie squares (brownies dipped in chocolate), 30 mini cheesecakes, 60 mini milk tarts, 60 mini banoffee tarts and 30 petit fours for her. Luckily all relatively easy stuff, except for the cheesecakes which I have no idea how I'm going to do yet...eek! Maybe I'll just bake one big cheesecake instead.

Julz are you only going to be busy with work or are you taking time for fun stuff too? Delhi has so much history & the most amazing things to see (must look past all the poverty though). Mumbai for me was boring ito culture etc but the shopping is AMAZING ... everything so so cheap ... ahh wish I was going too!!!

Thanks Vix thats what I am doing with Dylan's big bed now. Not going to be super strict and see how it goes.

Lisha I fly on the 30th (Aug) I think. First to Delhi for 11 nights then to Mumbai for a few more.

I officially need a boss! LOL I'm supposed to be working but here I stand making pancakes because I'm in the mood to eat! Terrible! No discipline!

About the big bed thing guys, this is what worked well for me, I decided not to be too strict at first, he went to sleep in his bed initially but if he woke and wanted me I would either go lay with him or bring him into our bed. I felt it was important that he didn't feel 'banished' into this new bed. Some nights I woke up 3hrs after climbing into his bed. This past week I have re started the sleep training thing and now put him to bed alone and it is working really well. He now feels so comfortable with his new bed that he actually tells me when it's dudu time. I just think you have to expect a few rough nights at first but in time it'll be so worth it. C doesn't wake DH up anymore because he just comes to me and calls mama mama.

O.k back to work, pancakes are finished!
