HI dolls.

Simone, I get 30% on signing the contract and the rest when the work is handed in and approved, so just before December hopefully so we can have a nice long holiday after all the work!

I am getting quite excited about the whole process though. I'm getting a Macro lens for my camera which will make the photo's so much better and then I need to start speaking to some shop owners about borrowing stuff and then giving them a mention in the book. I can't afford to buy everything myself but I'm sure most places wouldn't have a problem with that, can only ask hey?

Mandy, the twins also LOVE music. They're always singing and dancing and when I play piano for them they just love it. I recorded a demo CD when I was 17 (it was my dream to become a singer) and Abi found it the other day, the picture on the front is obviously me and she wanted to know what's on it. THe moment the first song started she said "aah mama, so beautiful. It's YOU!" hehehe

Lisha, sorry your back is still giving you trouble. C also has a bad back and I hate seeing him in pain!

Nicole!! Congrats! It's the best feeling when you get your driver's! ANd doing it in the rain? Well done!!

Our weekend was very nice, went to C's dad on Saturday for a prawn braai, the twins had a ball with C's niece who is a year older than them and then yesterday my whole family came over for celebratory lunch and again they played so nicely with my nephew (4) and two cousins (6 and 9). I love seeing all the kids together and how they play. And the things the twins pick up from the older ones is just too funny. Yesterday Abi took C's hand after everyone left and said "Come dada, let's be friends" lol. So cute.

Last night was the first night without dummies. Not intentionally though, we had to because we couldn't find Aidan's dummy. Wasn't a HORRIBLE night, Aidan probably woke up 3 times asking but we told them that we would go buy them presents if they slept nicely so we went to ToysRus this morning, got Abi a doll that is dressed like a clown and Aidan wanted a truck, got them each a huge horse Teddy from Mr Price home and a puzzle AND then C wanted to get them each a cash register. Everything relatively cheap thank goodness.

We were invited to the VIP launch of the new Range Rover Evoque next Wednesday in Melrose Arch and C and I are both going which is fab. BUT we need to dress Sophisticated Funky and I don't own anything funky so need to go shopping. Prob will just get a nice white button down shirt and wear a ton of pearls, black jeans and beige heels I bought over the weekend. Need to get C a nice jacket cause he will wear his Polo jeans and a button down shirt. I'm excited to be getting all dressed up together, we never do anymore.

Mandy im glad Cam gave you a better night last night. K is currently doing Kindermusik and he loves it, i have definatly noticed a change in him with re: to music. Every time he see's a muscial instrument he wants it lol. Yesterday he was "playing" the piano and i had to play the drums and we were rocking away to "baa baa black sheep" lol.

Julz sorry you are still batteling. Hopefully you will notice an improvement soon.

Lisha sorry your back is giving you trouble still, im sure you cant wait until your Chiro is back. I went to the physio last week Thurs and i was in so much pain i didnt know what to do with myself, havent gone back yet as i cant imagine feeling that way and functioning at work. Need to find someone who does accupunture rather.

We had a good weekend, didnt do much, all of saturday K was either on his trampoline or swingging in his swing. Yesterday he didnt have a nap & only went to bed at 19:00 but he was so overtired that he was miserable and kept on moaning.

We had a nice weekend. Saturday was quiet and relaxing. Yesterday we had lunch at Nino's, food really wasn't great so we were disappointed. Then had my grans 85th bday celebration - just tea and bring and share snacks with the family.
Shrey had a blast with his cousins so was lights out as soon as we drove off. Think he's either still tired or loving the rain because he asked to sleep around 11:30 this morning ... so wish I could have joined him!
I'm still battling with my back. Chickened out from seeing my chiro's locum so battling it out and getting hubby to help me out with a massage when he can. Almost took an anti-inflamatory earlier but heard that I may be called in to meeting to deal with my assistant causing trouble again so decided against it. Will take 2 panado's instead and hope for the best till I get home.

Nope not better yet but didn't expect to be. Just really bad headaches bothering me now. I felt good for the first 3 days but am on a decline but that is apparently normal for a while.

Had a nice weekend this side...nothing much to report. Last 4 days at work...finishing on Thursday. So lazy to clean up PC and paper storage of 3yrs!!!! But has to be done! Having my farewell lunch on Wednesday at a real fancy restaurant! Eyeing the lamb shank!! Can't wait:)

Mandy yes Dylan did Kindermusik. He started when he was really young and I think he would love it way more now. I just hated driving 30 minutes for a 30 minute class every saturday.

He loves live music though. He loved the band at my sisters wedding.

Glad your sleep training is paying off. We still need to stop him from coming to our room at 3 in the morning.

I actually think he has a breathing problem when he sleeps. Firstly he still sleeps with his head pushed all the way back and his whole body is arched back and then he sleeps through his mouth and snores. He also stops breathing at times so I am going to take him to the paed when he isn't well again and just have him checked out. he has never been a good sleeper and we very rarely get a full nights sleep.
