I've ordered the Loebi Leesklub from www.kinderwerf.co.za and I received it yesterday. it is really so cute. There is 12 books in it. and a daily activity. They've got all this nice things to do with your child. This month we will do the body, rollings balls, cutting with a scissor and pasting, shapes and words like: under and on top. and bottom, middle and top. they gave flashcards, building a puzzle. One Two Three. Colours.

There is really nice activities to do, like art, baking, games to play. it is a really nice set. But only in afrikaans.

here is a cute activity: cooked spaghetti, cooled. food colouring, put the spaghetti in 3 bowls and colour each one a diffirent colour. give to child to play with. say the colours. she can eat it. you can also say: The spaghetti is smooth and slippery, it slips out of your hands.

under each day, it tells you what your child has learned. with the spaghetti, it says: vocabularly, tecture, hand-eye coordination and fine "motoriese" development.

Sorry I have been MIA. Been at home with Dylan. He is okay thanks. Took him to my gp today as his eye was red and I didn't feel like taking him to the paed again. She said it was all part of his sickness and that is throat is really bad but the fever is gone now.

I will catch up priomise. Seems to have been a tough day on the forum here so thanks Vix for you awesome post.

I love fruit in food. I think I love the sweet salty sour combination.

I am so sad today. I lady at my work (a cleaner) has a 6 month old girl. She was born of a small hole in her heart. about 2 weeks ago, she took the baby to the dr. the dr said the heart was healing and no operation was needed. she was so glad. she said she can go on with her life now. she wants to study accounting. yesterday when she came home, her aunt said that the baby had diarrhea the whole day. She took the baby to the dr. the dr said the baby needs to go to the hospital for a drip. at the hospital, they couldn't get a vein and then try to get one in her head. after that she got a fit and then the one after the other. they said she needs to go to the ICU. No ICU opening in klerksdorp. they had to go to Potchefstroom. on their way to the hospital, the baby still had fits all the time. then the heart just got tired. and she died. My heart is so sore for her. it must be really terrible for her.

Simone, I also HATE fruit with food. I can't stand it. But the cherry jam does something to the lamb and the sweetness is really needed with the richness of the lamb. I really didn't think I would like it but I'm telling you, it's great! If you like sweet chilli sauce on food, you'll like this. You don't taste it's CHERRY.

Yes Simone you do know the answer ... we all still have very doting parents that would move heaven & earth for us!!!
My poor aunt, you can still see the sadness on her face but it happened just 4 years ago so still very very fresh!
