Hi Ladies,

Just a quick post before I fall asleep at my desk...

Charnenay - you must be holding your baby by now - can't wait to hear!!

Blessed - you will be in my thoughts and prayers tonight. Good Luck!!

Last week working this week - can't wait.
Seems my energy has finally run out :(
Feel like I'm falling asleep at my desk!
Could be the hectic weekend I had - last minute shopping, sorting, packing etc.

Going to see the midwive again tomorrow - bit concerned, I think maybe baba has turned again.
He was lying perfectly, head down, bum to left, kicking just to the right of my belly button.
Now suddenly he kicks to the very far right, and it seems I can feel TWO bumps on either side of belly button. I'm really hoping he didn't decide to turn at this late stage

Hi all!

Mommy2J, all will be fine. My girls are exactly 2 years apart. I'm not gonna lie to you, its tough sometimes when they young, but today I don't regret it at all. Yes, they fight! But they also the best of friends. My heart goes out to you wrt the relationship. It's difficult to juggle it all. I was also in a bad relationship, had the girls. But I always knew I wasn't his princess, I wasn't the ONE for him. Though I loved him dearly, the relationship never was what it's suppose to be. My advice, really try and work on it, make time, do your best to make it work. My divorce was the best thing that happened to me and in some instances for my girls too. I met the most amazing man and today I can say I'm in a healthy relationship. But that being said and done, I wish me and the ex had the savvy to make things work while it was disintegrating. My girls have to face some things I really wished I could shield them from. And you don't want that for your girls. You still have the opportunity to make things work. I vowed to not make the mistakes of the past. I have a daunting task ahead, 2 teenagers, a baby, but also a husband and marriage which I intend on nurturing. How I am going to do that exactly, I don't know yet.

See, we all have our issues, and talking really helps.

Girly, I also need all the help I can get....having teenagers and having a baby is two completely different things!!!!!! It's like I'm a first time mom all over again.

All I know, is that by the grace of God, I have the two most amazing girls. It is such a priviledge to be their mom.

2 days into August!!!! 18 days to go for me!

I have decided to hang up my Superwoman panties and call it a day! I'm finishing off at work on Friday. Really battling.

We having hassles with buying the new car. There's only 1 in the country with lots of extras we don't want....and ordering one is gonna take 4 months!!!!!! Lovely!

A question for those whove got kids already.
Would you feel if you are dilating?
I'm getting occasional burning sensation down there which is different from an infection.

Shew quiet here today. Everyone enjoying their babies by now?

M2J it can be very overwhelming, and a 2nd little princess will just make life more challenging.
Thousands of women have made it work though, so dont stress too much about the balancing act. Your love for your daughter wont change, just how you are able to give out the love, and you'll make those opportunities more special.
Just remember no one is perfect. You will do your best. So dont allow yourself to feel guilty.

Really sorry about the relationship concerns. I am in a good relationship, but even the best of them, men are just different and certain things they'll never get unless they go thru it. DH said yesterday he wishes he could have 6 months maternity leave. I have to reitterate that its not leave its another job. I can imagine with 2 under your wings how much more so you lose yourself!

I know its not easy, but you have to let him know when you're not happy. Sometimes not in the heat of the moment, but when you're more calm. He must then do with it what he will, but I'm the type who needs to have it off my chest.
We had a small fight on the weekend, but I was so livid for his attitude towards something that I was seriously fuming! We were at movies with friends, and my one friend, who has an 18month old could see I was upset and why, and I'm so grateful for her cos she kept my mind off the issue otherwise I would have probably fumed at him in front of the entire cinema!
Anyway, we're here for you. And remember your hormones are doing a whole lot right now getting ready for next week!
Time for a pamper session for mom I think! You deserve a break and some relaxation.

Eileen, wow didnt realise your girls were big already...so youve had a few years of no diapers, car chairs and bottles to all of a sudden be thrown back into it. Ive always said i cant wait till i can say "come we going to the shop" and my kids can just get up get in the car and off we go no more packing baby bags, worrying about warming bottles while we out and if there is a place to change them where we going, cramping prams in the car ect ect just simple get in go out, come home!

Ha Ha and youve had that for long time already....atleast your girls are of a age where they can help. Jess is 2 and ive left her alone with our puppy and lets just say...not a good idea i wont be leaving her sister un attended.

I know what you saying...we planned this, we new what we were doing and what the outcome would be but that was 9 months ago we had plenty time in our lives as we knew it, now that we are merely days away from meeting our long awaited lil princess's our nerves are kicking in im also worried how new baby will affect my time with Jessica, we are inseperable and do everything together, movie nights baking afternoons lazy sundays in bed Is that now all going to take back seat. Mabe im also feeling some guilt to add to my nerves?

Im feeling as tho DH is on the another page, his life just carries on as usual, go to work come back...he doesnt have to question how all of this is going to change his days as he knows it i have to make the plan to get our daughter to school, even tho i cant drive for 6 weeks after the c-sec and get her back with a new born, do the shopping, cooking, washing, bathing kids i feel a little over whelmed and the fact that our relationship is already in a bad place and has been for long, i cant help but think all this change could finally push us even further apart. this has nothing to with kids, our relationship was toxic before we had kids, i just thought when we had kids it would make us closer, all that happend was i fell so inlove with my lil girl, i rather focused all my love and attention on her and stopped trying to force a relationship with him so basically i gave up on the love side of things.

Now that i need that love, we dont know how it got to this and how to get it right. I know adding a new baby to the mix is going have a big affect on everything, i just want her to be born in a place where her mom and dad can just get along, she deserves that so i will continue to try.

Feeling teary and emotional tonight, all these hormones glad i have a place to vent what im feeling!

Talking helps

Hey girls

I'm on MATERNITY wooohooo!!!

Shew what a weekend. We are exhausted!
Book shelf up. Camp cot up. Bed moved. Wall heaters up. Towels washed. Almost all newborn stuff washed. Cupboards cleaned.
Tomorrow I get to fold all the baby clothes and pack them away, sort through some other things in the house and hopefully have a nice clean house come tomorrow night!
Feet are so swollen I cant stand anymore. Going to have my BP checked tomorrow morning as I'm starting to worry a bit about the swelling. Have asked DH to keep an eye on my face in case it appears more swollen. Dont want to take any chances.

Hows everyone doing?
Charnenay all the best for tomorrow!!! Cant wait to see the pics :D

M2J and Eileen think I'll be coming for LOADS of advice! This is my first one, and anxious hardly begins to explain it.
We have done as much as we can to prepare for her, and ever thankful that I can be home until the end of the year without any other obligations. But I know the first few months are especially challenging on sleep and personal time, and from thereon out just different types of challenges.
But I must say, I'll be 29 in November, and really feel we're ready for a change, especially one that'll have rewards for us forever that nothing else can replace.

Must be honest though, the way I'm feeling I dont know how anyone could go through pregnancy 2 or 3 times over and especially with small gaps in between. I'd love to have 2 or 3 children, with 2yr gaps but this pregnancy thing is tough, especially from about 28 weeks on, each week becomes more challenging!

Righty, gonna enjoy my milo in front of the tv and hopefully get sleepy soon.

Chat soon xx

Mommy2J, I have a 12 year old and 10 year old girl! They are completely independent!

I'm used to netball, hockey, exams, orals, ballet, art classes.......we watch girly movies together and have intelligent conversations. And now we gonna have a baby!!!!!!

I am divorced and remarried, my hubby don't have any kids of his own. So it's something that was inevitable. And I always wanted more kids.

It's just that the whole planning and preparation was exciting and suddenly there's only a few weeks left of life as we know it. I love my life and I love the age my girls are at. And I know our little princess is going to bring us so much joy. I'm just a bit scared!
